I have been coming here for a few years for Bikini wax but no more. Maybe they are going out of business but they are impossible to get a hold of on the phone. First I thought it was fluke I would leave message to book and never hear back so I had to stop by physically to book. When I asked about why they didn't call back. They seem dumbfounded and said they return all messages. Well I decided I wanted to give my daughter a manicure party with her best friend. So called Monday and left a message. No response still by Thursday night so I decided to email them and I get a response by text saying 10am booking when I asked for 4:30 pm. I text back and it's been 24 hours no response. Well I guess they don't want my business. I found another nail place and called them at 9pm thinking to leave a message and booked in 5 minutes what I needed. Not coming back here. read more

This is the best nail salon in the city. Excellent work. My nails are gorgeous. I get a very specific technique, that Jessi does with swift expertise. I look forward to coming here every 2-3 weeks. Upon arrival, I am always welcomed with a friendly hello. I'm always offered water, tea, or coffee. The salon is bright and clean. Always fun music playing. I have been going to this salon for years and have been happy with my pedicures. But unfortunately my most recent appointment was really bad. I got a new technician I did not recognize. She was very aggressive with the cuticle cutting and I had a sharp pain in my right big toe as she was cutting the side of my nail/skin. Due to the injury, my toe has been red and hurting for a week. I am very disappointed and can't come here again. read more

I took my parents here with me when they were visiting me and we had the BEST time. The three women working were so sweet, funny, and incredible in general (one of which was Jessi herself!!) we sipped on our tea and yapped and overall just had so much fun. Couldn't recommend enough! read more

I stumbled upon the salon while exploring SF during the Italian parade. I came in for a mani & pedi. When I tell you Lan & Betty were amazing service was 10/10 I've never fell asleep getting a mani/pedi but these ladies has are made of gold or something I just couldn't stop nodding off. The service was so good I asked for an additional 15min foot massage. I can't wait to come back to Sf everyone complimented on my manicure. Highly recommend read more

This place is a scam. Came in for a pedicure, asked the price. Could have sworn I was told $32. The nail lady spent a total of 15 minutes with me and once done I was told it will be $42. So all in all $50 for a pedicure of this quality is very steep even by SF standards. Never again. read more

I went in for a pedi today, and I couldn't be more pleased with the service and atmosphere. I had shoulder surgery some time back, and even clipping my own toe nails is pretty much impossible. Thuy (I think that was her name) took amazing care of me! I walked out feeling invigorated. While I don't go to nail salons often, having this place in the neighborhood is a blessing. Love all the remodels they did to the place and the massage chairs, always very friendly service when I come. For whatever it is, my nails chip within 2 days with gel or dip and I have never had that before which is a bummer. The prices are definitely more expensive than the previous place here. Most definitely the nicest & the cleanest nail salon in the neighborhood. It's spacious. You can amply spread out, & there's room to roam. There is no clutter. No spa chairs for pedicures. They use the stainless steel basins. Which is ideal, since the chairs harbor bacteria. It's quiet. You can actually forget that you're on Columbus Avenue. It feels like a spa. Regular mani & pedi, 2 gals working on me. About one hour. Would be 5 stars, but because of the gratuity having to be in cash "policy," I'm holding back. This is almost 2016. Fix that. This is the only nail salon of its kind in north beach. It's about time. Great work. 4 & 1/2 stars. read more

I came here without an appointment and they were able to take me in right away. The manager was very sweet. They have a wide variety of colors and comfy chairs to sit in. The woman doing my nails didn't ask what nail shape I would like and filed anyways. She filed them somewhere between square and round, each nail not very consistent with the next. The gel manicure cost $35 without tip. Overall, the place is clean and the employees are very nice, but the technical work is just okay. read more

Had an overall great experience! The salon had a very pleasant, relaxing vibe (I appreciated the water fountain), service was excellent and I liked how precise my manicure was! After walking from ferry market place to the Coit tower I was craving a nice foot scrub and mani. LV is a quaint small salon by Washington Square. They give you nail color samples to help you pick a simple gel Polish. Simple gel mani is $30 and for just a smooth scrub is $10. I highly recommend this haven for all for relaxation read more

As another small business woman owner, I really wanted to support this new business. And I've given the new owner, Jessi, the opportunity to make it right, but she chose not to. First off, the prices more than doubled from the previous family owners. But the place looks great and I wanted to have my daughter (and me) have lovely, special nails for her wedding. We asked for a specific look based ab on her wedding colors which seemed ok, but one of the gel colors completely changed into a weird yellow color (was supposed to be pink) and looked really bad for the wedding. After the wedding, I went in to show them, they apologized and offered to redo ( not refund). I made appt and when I went in, they were overbooked(!) and they called Jessi who asked me to come next day the next day even though I had made appt. I couldn't come next day, they gave me another not great manicure. I asked that Jessi call me so we could fix situation. That was a week ago. I have honestly never experienced such a lack of courtesy from any salon. And if it hadn't been my daughter's wedding, I probably wouldn't even write this. Terribly disappointing. read more

I hate giving poor reviews but I gave this place multiple chances so here it goes: I haven't tried everyone here but I tried this place 3 times since it's close to my apartment. The first two times it was O.K!!! The last time I had their spa mani-pedi with Betty. This was such a waste of money. The nail job was awful from shaping to painting. You get a massage with this package. She was not able to apply any pressure to my foot even after I asked. Im not sure why she started to work on me when the other girls that seemed more able didnt have any clients yet. I feel like I got a regular low quality mani/pedi but I paid $100 for it. I feel robbed. I do a better job myself at home!! read more

Nice staff. Good hand massage. Worst manicure I've ever had in my entire life. Old, gummy polish was caked onto my nails. It curdled the second it started drying. The application was so sloppy and there was zero attention to detail. My hands couldn't look messier. I start a new job tomorrow and just got home to remove everything and do it myself. I randomly stopped by this place today because I was looking to get a gel manicure. I walked in and there was a couple ladies already being worked on and I'm guessing there was only 2 nail technicians so I was greeted and told that it would be a 15 minute wait. Not that bad! I was looking to get a white gel mani, but sadly I didn't find a white color in gel so I stuck with shellac. The service was really good! The technicians don't really talk to you, but that doesn't bother me. The technician that worked on me seemed to be distracted because she was paying attention more to the other technician who was working on a pedicure on another client. I guess that's not a huge deal. I see that other yelpers say that they were offered water or hot tea once they arrived but I was there for over an hour and they never asked. I won't be back here just because it's far from my home, but the atmosphere is really nice and clean. I love how at the end they give you a mini hand massage! Plus they have candy at the entrance! My nails came out great! Hopefully they last!! Oh and before I forget the shellac mani was $30. Not too bad I guess for the area. read more

I'm not post photos but have them, and she has seen them. My eyebrows also were like hard and wouldn't move. Later they started falling out too. She gave me a full refund when I send her pics. But this is before everything started falling out. I had to buy a lash serum to grow them back. And then in August I started noticing that my eyebrows were falling out. I thought they were shedding normally and going back to blonde. NOPE! They weren't growing back at all. I went to the dr and it is 100% because of what she did. I now am using rogaine to regrow them. It's taking forever and she also refused to pay for product to help grown them back. It's probably going to be another 2-3 months of me looking awful because of Perri. Have the Holiday you deserve.

It took a lot longer to get our nails done, and Jenny had to stay 2 hours past closing to accommodate us, but she did a fantastic job!! I had to pivot from my original design but she was really skilled and I honestly let her have full reign of the new design, but they turned out beautiful. She put a ton of detail into making sure my nails were perfect to the very last minute. FYI a gel manicure with design and gems/pearls (self provided) was $65 pre tip, which is more than they list on the site. They prefer cash but venmo is also accepted. Very peaceful vibe inside, with a restroom and water provided. They don't rush you at all which is nice :)

I was a fan of my experience here. Cindy did my manicure and Judy did my pedicure. They were both extremely detail oriented. Cindy was really helpful and patient with customizing the exact color for my nails that I wanted and Judy gave me the best foot and leg massage that I've ever received with a basic gel pedicure. It was wonderful. All the ladies working in the shop were very kind. Good massage chairs as well. The only note I had was that the gel polish for my toes seemed like it might be a tad old- it was streaky and could've been a little more neat but Judy made it work and had them looking super cute by the end. I paid $80 for my gel-x manicure and $52 for my gel pedicure. I'll definitely be coming back! read more
