If you are stuck and need something super quick and easy then come here. Otherwise, not my type of nail salon. They work on your feet and hands at the same time so it's really hard to relax. Been there twice and one of the technicians was too harsh. My toe was hurting for days afterwards. Not enough here for me to keep coming back and I don't like that they don't have a straight forward pricing system. For example, if you did your gel manicure at another salon, they charge you $5 to take it off. Really? Just add it to the price instead of starting low and tacking on add on fees. read more

Great place for a quick mani-pedi, or if you're not in a rush (like I always seem to be) a nice relaxed one. The ladies here are phenomenal--friendly, efficient, and professional. They have really fair prices, the most reasonable I've seen in SF. You can pay (and tip) with a credit card which makes it even more easy breezy. A couple weeks ago I got a gel manicure that has lasted 17 days, International flights, the beach, historical sites, a wedding and constant rummaging in my bag for bug spray, SPF, and my phone. My nails and cuticles grow super fast so it doesn't look so cute up close right now but I was glad to have it last so long. This nail salon was good! I didn't even have to make an appointment and got right in for two mani/pedi's. The ladies who work there are nice Vietnamese girls, but they don't speak much English. It always makes me wonder why they don't learn the language, but they do a great job. The nail polish selection was OPI and they had plenty of colors to chose from. The only thing that concerned me is they reuse the buffers, flies and scrubbers, so I don't think they are compliant with current health laws. I'm happy to pay a few bucks more so I don't get infected. For now, I'll cross my fingers and hope I don't get a problem. The prices are right and the availability was good. I'd go back as long as I don't have any health issues. For now I'm kinda worried. read more

From all of the reviews, I assumed this salon was a lot bigger than it was. it's a small salon in the middle of a shopping mall. But like the saying goes, big things come in small packages. My best friend and I came to San Francisco to celebrate my birthday before I fly out to Hawaii. Since I needed to get my nails done we came here so we could both get a pedicure and I could get a full set. The owner, Katie, did my full set and Amy did both our pedicures. Katie has an amazing attention to detail and Amy has the most steady hand I have ever seen. It's been a long time since I got a full set I loved. The lady there was very rough with me and I told her that she was cutting the nails very fast and need to stop rushing, despite my request, she did not listen and as a result, she cut some skin close to my nail and I was bleeding. There's nothing great to say but nothing bad either. It's located in Northpoint Center which is less a mall than an enclosed gathering of Safeway and Walgreens with a few random stops in between. The center is located just a few blocks from work, hence the reason I stopped by. I called at 12pm on Monday to ask if they could take me at 1. No problem. I came in on my lunch break and there was only one other customer--an older-middle-aged man getting a mani/pedi. As I walked in, one of the two employees greeted me and took a tool set out of the autoclave (good sign). A little bit of talking, not too much or too little to make it uncomfortable. I just needed a real simple manicure, clear polish--I'm a no-fuss girl! So, not a whole lot of room for error but also not a great frame of reference for what they might be capable of. $10 manicure. 20 minutes of my lunch break. Conveniently located (for me!). Nice enough. Clean enough. I'll go back if it's a busy week and I need something right away. Otherwise, I'll go back to Perfect Nails out by my place in the Outer Richmond. read more

The salon is tiny, extremely clean, and comfortable although not luxurious. I was able to go as a walk-in for a gel manicure and a pedicure. I was very happy with the quality of service given and the friendliness of the ladies working. I thought the price was very reasonable especially for San Francisco. They are a little hard to find because they are inside the North Point shopping center, closest to the Powell Street entrance. They are within walking distance of Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, and the San Francisco cruise piers. I would definitely go there again. read more

If that wasn't enough, the owner of this business is the rudest woman I have ever encountered while paying for a service. If you have any preference on the shape of your nails, again, DO NOT GO HERE. She will mutter rude comments under her breath if you ask her to replicate the shape of nail you came in with.
