We called Will, and he made time to come out the next evening. He was able to easily diagnose the problem as a blown capacitor and fixed it at a very reasonable price. We were up and running with a working a/c that same night! Will also remembered some of our other ongoing needs, with another aging a/c on our house and issues with our duplex rental. He is so knowledgeable and truthful when he talks to us about options. Having used his services many times, we trust him when he says if something is an easy fix or needing something more expensive. From the very beginning, he took the time to listen, answer my questions thoroughly, and explain things that no other company took the time to explain. Last summer, I was told I needed to replace my HVAC system before this summer because it uses R-22. Naturally, that was stressful and felt like a huge unexpected expense. When Will came out, he carefully inspected the system and then walked me through the facts. He explained that as long as the unit is working properly, there's no need to replace it just because it uses R-22. He also clarified that refrigerant doesn't need to be added unless there's a leak (contrary to what I had previously been told about it needing regular refills). At no point did he try to upsell me or pressure me into replacing something that still works. Instead, he focused on what was actually necessary and in my best interest. That level of integrity is rare and incredibly appreciated. It's clear he genuinely cares about his customers and values doing the right thing over making a quick sale. I truly can't recommend him highly enough and will absolutely continue to use and refer him in the future.

We were so impressed that we even made a call to the office complementing their excellent customer service and work. However, we were scheduled to have a heating exchange replaced in November after their technician noticed flames coming out of the furnace upon starting. We were in communication with them regarding the replacement part being ordered. We were told in early November that the part had been ordered and we would receive a call when it arrived to schedule our replacement/repair in a week or so. It is February 2, 2026 and we have called several times, sent text messages, and emails and have not received any response. Our warranty company has also called and they are not responding to their calls as well. We have no choice but to go with another company. I am surprised and quite disappointed.

No problem we stayed with them knowing that we had to pay for each of the two maintenance visits. Then we found they were becoming unreliable about keeping scheduled appointments. The first appointment they cancelled 1/2 hour after they were supposed to have been here. "Our technician was unable to make it in today so we will have to reschedule this appointment." Big frustration since my husband had taken the day off work to be here for the appointment. We rescheduled and they cancelled the next visit the day before the appointment. We read the handwriting on the wall that the company was going through some problems and not the same reliable company we had worked with through the years. We moved on but wish Graybeal's the best.

I contacted this business on a Saturday after an extremely hot week in the area. Both of my units…read morewere not working on my house. The owner called me back within fifteen minutes and began to trouble shoot everything over the phone. I was very impressed with his knowledge and how he was able to guide me around my furnace over the phone by describing exactly what I was looking at. He guided me to the problem and was able to get one of my units up and going with something he would find easy, but something I would not have known to do! The second unit was not as easy but he again began to troubleshoot some things to lower what he would have to do when he was able to come out to my house. Due to the trouble shooting over the phone, he arrived early on Monday and was able to have the second unit going in the matter of 30 minutes. I cannot express how amazing the communication was and how crystal clear his instructions were to get me some sort of Air in my house on a hot summer day!
