Their donuts are fresh and delicious. Service is pleasant but can be slow. Please keep in mind they only make donuts for the day once they sell out of a particular flavor they are gone! I went to B. Doughnut yesterday on Mother's Day, I stood in line at 8:05am once I finally got in the store which took 30 minutes of me standing in line outside in the frigid air only to find out the donuts that I wanted were sold out. They should have a sign in the window indicating what was left otherwise I would not have stood in the cold waiting. That would've been a better service to your customers. This location is so much better than the other B. Doughnut ones in VA. The others one serve some really dry malasadas that definitely lack in the flavor department. Even though this location is way farther than the other ones, I will make the trek out here for these. I actually haven't liked any malasadas until this place. I have even had the famous malasadas from Leonard's in Hawaii ... and no shade or anything, they were kind of trash, it was like eating hockey pucks filled with congealed cream. Not exactly delightful. Anyway this place definitely hits the spot for filipinos with their Ube and Pandan flavors, as my family loves them, but the strawberry cream though! That is my jam! I am from North Carolina and i always stop by B Doughnut for my favorite doughnuts "Strawberry Shortcake". I must say they are so delicious. I use to visit B. Doughnut when they were located in Arlington, VA and the service there was AWESOME. I wish they would have kept that location opened. This isn't a typical doughnut shop. They are puffy and all of them have various toppings that you may not see in a traditional doughnut shop. They have a lox and cream cheese doughnut that's very nice and the doughnut itself is like an "everything" bagel. They have some doughnuts that are featured and not regular entities. These doughnuts will be about $3. They also have a barista with a lot of possible drinks. They are conveniently located near the intersection of Charles Street and the 301 in a little shopping strip. People there are very nice. During the "coin shortage" crisis, I gave them all the coins from my piggy bank, and they were very grateful. It's a great experience and I hope they'll be able to open a few more like this. read more

This is such a cozy donut shop. Very nicely decorated. The Boston Cream donut had its own flare (not the usual pudding that I'm used to). The Lemon Curd wasn't as lemony as I would like but, it was good. The Homer was hit with the little ones & the Cinnamon Crunch Latte lightly sweetened was scrumptious. Decided to go here after passing by it the previous week before, with my husband after a wedding we attended. I usually can't resist a good donut shop, so going to try this one out was no different. They have really limited hours, so if you are interested in grabbing a donut you have to be early. This establishment only makes a certain amount of donuts for the day and once they are out, that's it! They close up shop for the day. So because they open at 7am on most days, if you are any later then 11 or 12 you can forget it! They sell out quickly once opening and are popular. I was immediately drawn into their minimalistic all white crisp, clean design aspect. They curate different local artist work in the shop that are on sale and have a cool, selfie clover field wall in the dinning section of the shop. They have a few tables if you would like to eat in with your donuts and coffee. So let's get to the good stuff..their donuts have a good taste and are cool. They don't have holes in the middle like typical donuts in the states have. I love that they have very unique flavors and they taste good. Very clean and nice staff. Note to coffee lovers like myself when I went they only had drip coffee and iced cold brew. This is not a creative lattes and mixed coffee fusion bar so don't go expecting that. This is all they serve as far as drinks so the menu is limited which might be an issue for some. read more

Tough call on this one. Went here for the first time today and got 4 doughnuts: jelly filled and lemon curd filled (for me) and chocolate cream filled and Oreo filled (for my wife). Really had high expectations for it. On the one hand the doughnuts all had good flavor. The killer was the amount of filling. The jelly filled was the first one to be eaten and I was pleasantly surprised, even commenting on how thoroughly filled it was. Thought we were onto something. Got some jelly filling in all but a couple bites. Later in the day my wife ate the Oreo filled and was disappointed that there was almost no filling. Only a tiny bit on her last bite. Next I ate the lemon curd (was really excited b/c my current favorite doughnut is the lemon filled from Krispy Kreme) and was disappointed that it had considerably less filling than my jelly filled, though it did have a bit more than my wife's Oreo filled. My wife ate the chocolate cream filled last and it had a filling amount comparable to the Oreo filled...not much at all, maybe a couple bites. The flavors on all were really good. The doughnuts themselves had a good flavor and texture and all the fillings were very tasty. Really liked the lemon curd. But when I buy a filled doughnut, I expect it to be filled. My wife took 4 bites from her Oreo filled before she got any filling. I think this place is new so maybe they'll work out the kinks and get a more consistent product. The flavor was good enough that I'll definitely go back and give it one more shot. If they get the filling issues worked out, these would be fantastic doughnuts. read more

Omg I stumbled upon this hidden gem located in LaPlata and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. I wasn't really sure on what to get because their doughnuts aren't exactly the "average " doughnut. There were assortments of flavors that were not just your regular glazed donut.. I brought a half dozen and chose a variety such as the strawberry shortcake, cookies and cream, vanilla cream and of course my traditional chocolate version.. I also brought a latte called Cinnamon Toast Crunch but oddly enough it was just right and delicious.. Nothing against SB but this latte ROCKS!! I love having something like this open in La plata. It feels modern inside and a would be a good place to meet a friend for breakfast. They have so many flavors of donuts including savory and unconventional. There's something for everyone though including good old chocolate and strawberry frosted. The consistency is light and airy and doesn't overwhelm your taste buds. There's also a decent selection of coffee drinks. Yes the donuts are more expensive than Dunkin or somewhere like that but they are fresh and delicious and different than what you get anywhere else and I don't mind paying for that. read more

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! The doughnuts are absolutely delicious. I tried a few of the vegan ones (the coconut was my favorite) and some of the regular ones (I loved the jelly and cookie butter doughnut) and they were all amazing. Their iced lattes are also amazing. I do not know how they make them but I have gotten an oat milk iced latte with some caramel and it is seriously the best !!
