Great work overall, but the pushy sales tactics are a real issue. The electrician who came out -- Chris Ramirez -- did a fantastic job, and I genuinely appreciated his work. However, it was clear he was being directed by management to push additional services, which made the experience uncomfortable. Its 2026, customers are informed and can see through high-pressure sales techniques. It's off-putting and makes me hesitant to call again. I'm giving 4 stars solely because of Chris's excellent service -- the sales approach alone would have cost you far more. Drop the pressure tactics, and you'd easily earn 5 stars. read more

I was hoping to use Divine Electric & Plumbing because of their reputation for quality, but I left disappointed by both the pricing and the overall sales experience. The estimate I received for replacing a customer-supplied faucet and shower trim (same brand, no specialty hardware, no valve replacement, and no plumbing modifications) was far beyond what I expected. The pricing seemed more appropriate for a project involving damaged plumbing, major modifications, or a complex installation. To put it in perspective, the quote was nearly what Divine had previously quoted us to reorganize the electrical panel to fit more breakers and install an EV charger. I also felt like there was a lot of pressure during the appointment. I was very clear that I only wanted an estimate for the faucet and shower hardware replacement during my intake, but I was asked to go through a full inspection of our water heater, water filtration system, and other plumbing components. Even after I explained that everything had recently been serviced and that I wasn't interested in additional work, maintenance plans were still presented when the estimate was delivered. I don't doubt that Divine stands behind the quality of their work, and everyone I interacted with was professional and informative. My issue was with the pricing and the sales approach. I wish we could have found a solution that felt more reasonable, because I would have liked to work with them. Hopefully there's an opportunity to do so in the future. read more

Save yourself the headache and hire someone else. Working with Devine Electric was an absolute circus from start to finish. If you enjoy canceled appointments, missed parts, code violations, and outright administrative gaslighting, this is your company. Otherwise, steer clear. The whole project was a masterclass in disorganization. They canceled our first appointment the night before over a "missing part," only to pull the exact same stunt during a later visit--walking off the job claiming they didn't have what they needed, magically "finding" it five minutes later when we expressed concern, and then running out of time to finish. When they actually did work, it was one issue after another. They initially gave us an estimate that wasn't up to code, later they tried to skip putting in the mandatory grounding rods for our detached garage, arguing it "wasn't needed" (conveniently right after they forgot to price them in). When they finally came back to install the required main panel plaque, they plastered my personal phone number and email address publicly on the outside of our electrical box for anyone walking down the street to see. They also showed up with only one grounding rod instead of two and tried to argue about that too. To top it all off, after dragging a simple garage switch and attic fan job across four painful visits, they generated an invoice marked "overdue" the exact same day the work wrapped up. When I wrote back immediately to point out it wasn't overdue and asked them to fix it so I could submit payment, they completely ignored me. The next day, they doubled down, emailing back to claim it was officially overdue because a calendar day had passed. All of this was with the "assistance" of their operations manager. They clearly don't care about their customers or doing competent work. Take your business elsewhere. read more

I should remember who helped me, I want to say it was JJ, but they were super fast to respond on Yelp, clear pricing. Helped us with a sink issue we've been having for quite some time and then JJ left and gave me some pointers on how to handle the type of sink we have myself in terms of keeping the pipes clear. Also, suggested whole house filtration system as something to think about. He mentioned the cost upfront, didn't push it, but just said, it will help save pipes from the hard water we have that lends to some of the build up we have. We've used Divine for electric, will certainly come back for plumbing too. Fair prices, super responsive (they fit us in the afternoon we requested the help on Yelp btw, I think I put that project up around 11am and they were out by 2:30.). read more

Set up an appointment and confirmed with them through yelp. Took time off work to be home during the period they told me. No one showed up nor called me to notify me of delay or cancellation of appointment. When I contacted them, I only got AI phone and messaging response, unable to talk to a real person. They eventually got back to me (about 5 hours after my appointment time range!) telling me it was a "glitch in the system" and that my "number and address does not pull up" trying to flip the blame on me as if i didn't confirm an appointment with them. The sheer amount of unprofessionalism is astounding. Blatantly ignoring not only a set appointment but ignoring the multiple messages and phone calls sent afterwards. Then tried to say there was "nothing in their system" not thinking i had the screenshots too prove it. What kind of professional company does that?!?! Its 2025, there was no 'glitch in the system", these guys are just straight unprofessional, dishonest, and will ignore you. I would give them 0 stars if yelp allowed me to. Divine has gotten progressively worse over the last decade to the point now where I would avoid them if at all possible. They send inexperienced people to do sensitive work and they avoid following up on work they have done. Now they have introduced an AI bot for phone calls and in our most recent interactions we were unable to speak to a human being. They canceled an appointment at the last minute telling us that they don't support that kind of equipment (an EV charger). As usual with Divine, the service call was right on time, the problem quickly and correctly fixed, and a courtesy plumbing fixture inspection was conducted insider and outside. After the updated review on April 14, remarking that the $900 had not been refunded as assured weeks ago, Kevin called the next day, stating that Divine had been planning to refund $900 for "pain and suffering" all along, and the refund was not dependent on removing the poor review, though Divine was hoping the review might still be removed or amended. He said the funds had been refunded a while back and just hadn't been posted yet, stating, "Sometimes it can take a week." The credit card statement states the refund was transacted on April 16 and posted on April 17. So the refund proposed a few weeks ago has finally been delivered. Thank you, Divine Plumbing, for that. In just around 3 hours, he answered so many questions we had about electrical stuff in our house, and gave us estimates on what each separate issue would cost to take care of. The good! Very thoughtful and nice plumbers who worked at our home. Bad and distasteful and a rip off: Gave us a quote for the job which they claimed would require two workers and two full days work. Quite expensive but we were ok with this since it seemed like a fair substantial job and fixing of our pipes. Then, first day on the job, there were three plumbers, fine, but it only it only took 3 1/2 hours to do this job and they still charged us for a full two day job! They did not adjust their quote. I say, they cannot be trusted if they are not fair and honest! Mind boggling and wrong in my opinion. Shop around and ask questions. We will not use this group again! read more

Jeff M. of Devine Plumbing was the third plumber I had check out the sewer pipes underneath my house after the first plumber from a regional plumbing provider said I should replace them all following a routine inspection, which was quoted in the five figures - yikes. The second plumber from a local and highly rated service said the potential issue (recalled pipes) were of a limited scope, only requiring a replacement in the four figures. Enter Jeff. He called me en route to understand how this all got started. From the beginning he was skeptical based on how I described the series of events, and quipped that he might talk himself out of a job. He dutifully suited up and went into the crawlspace to see whether there was an issue. 10 minutes later, he emerge from the crawlspace with a big "Nope!". To my shock, he explained that the recall portion of my sewer lines mounted to a 3 foot section of piping that was largely intact and did not require replacing. He showed me photographs, backing up his analysis. For this honesty, and saving me over $10,000, I am very grateful and promised I would write this review. My husband thought he could fix our sconces and the flickering lights in our downstairs. Then he blew something. So we got a Divine Electric ad in the valpak and called. They sent out a lovely gentleman (Christopher Ramirez) who assessed all of the light, connections, electrical plates, bulbs, etc. and solved our problems! I had purchased new sconces in case they would be needed and they are now installed, all bulbs are what they should be and flickering is done. PLEASE READ TO THE END. Dec 19th I paid Divine $1389. to install two new electrical outlets in two bathrooms & to install two new bidet style toilet seats (which I purchased). One bathroom went well. The other was a disaster. Three holes were made in the walls, instead of one. Very poorly patched. The electrician (Matt) had such a difficult time locating where to pick up the power that he had to call another electrician in. It took longer than expected. Apparently they cleaned up the floor with toilet paper (??!!) and left a giant sized wad of paper in the toilet. I was annoyed, but just flushed it when they left. The next day we had a "soft clog" because of it. Water backed into shower & all over the floor. We had Devine plumber come out who said that is what happened. A few days later (Dec 24th Christmas Eve with house guests & a celebration dinner) we had a partial power outage. Called Devine; asked to talk to the customer service. That didn't happen. Even though I thoroughly expalined the very unfortunate situation I felt that they completely dropped the ball. This was over the very busy Christmas week, so I lived with the inconvience of partial power outage and called again on Dec 29th. They had a different electrician (Romario) come out. He investigated the situation & thought that it might be because two GFI were on the same line. Further investigation found that some wires were "loose" at the new outlet installation. He made the repair & did a complete check all over the house to be sure everything was working properly. He seemed much more skilled than the first person who did the install. In the end, it seems everything is working, but it just did NOT go well. I feel this can only be a one star review. read more

Got a next day appointment, and Chris was there right on time. He asked questions, examined the equipment, determined the problem, fixed it.
