This was a wonderful breakfast decision for our morning in Prescott. Even though the restaurant was packed and busy for a Sunday morning, we were quickly offered bar seating and took it. Service was prompt and kind. We ordered the Sassy Sandwich with the Parmesan pesto tomatoes and the Hash Skillet. We loved every aspect of it! The fresh strawberry jam with the chorizo of the Sassy was delectable in its complimentary flavors. The BISCUITS!! Lord have mercy. They were buttered and griddled to perfection. A subtle star of the meal. The hash was full of flavor and very filling. I wasn't a fan of the gravy that we ordered on the side. When mixed with the hash it was a nice touch -- though I wouldn't order it again. The green chilis were hot! But so yum. We would absolutely come back and try new things or order this again. The interior of the restaurant was small and loud due to proximity, but this did not take away from the experience. A note to the staff, move the dish cart and trash away from the bar (this could be disturbing or fragrant to some guests; we didn't mind too much). read more

Oh my this place is amazing. Today was our first visit and it is now in our 'Prescott Places to Eat' list. The Ken consists of shredded potatoes with two eggs, choice of protein, and a biscuit smothered in bacon gravy. The Clint has shredded potatoes, with carne adovado and chorizo, smothered in red and/or green chili sauce and topped with two eggs. I tried it Christmas style, both red and green chili sauce. The best green chili sauce I've experienced. You can see the portions are plentiful enough to feed two-three people. The restaurant is cozy and clean. The wait staff are welcoming and very friendly. Big portions, excellent food. This place was super popular and the ladies that run B Simple were hustling- all with a smile. I wasn't super impressed with the green chile sauce, needed some heat - but the Hash was an excellent take on the classic Corned beef hash - the chopped green chiles were an amazing addition. This is a small little cafe. Maybe 20 people total can be seated. Went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Had about a 15 minute wait so not too bad. This place was busy. Holy cow! Don't eat dinner the night before if you expect to get anywhere NEAR finishing their humongous breakfasts! Hubby had the Ken, or half of it, lol. I had the Sharon, or maybe 1/3 of it! I haven't had a homemade biscuit in 10 years, but I took Courtney's suggestion and had that instead of toast. Wow! Had their homemade berry mix jam, and that was fantastic as well! I have found my breakfast place. Food is super delicious. They make omelettes with 4 eggs, not just 3. And their burritos are humongous! Biscuit with mixed berries jam was so good I ordered one to go. They should really sell jars of their homemade mixed berry jam. OMG! This place is a ROCK STAR! My husband and I were recommended this restaurant from our motel staff. Small, clean place and were very glad we were there early! I went here a month ago and I still remember how good the huevos w chorizo were. Coffee was also excellent. The ambience is an industrial like concrete floors, laminate tables sort of thing. I hear great things about this place as I'm walking by on a Saturday morning at 8:45am. 3 people waiting in line for a table and all I wanted was a breakfast burrito and a side of bacon Togo. The server inside tells me no take-out on the weekends only Monday -Fridays. This is not posted anywhere. This place is wonderful, we went there on a Tuesday around 1130. The place was full but we found two seats at the bar. The waitress was great, I don't know how she did it. She had a whole room of patrons but was able to help everyone with a smile and great service. The food came fast, they had two cooks in the back that looked as good as the food ha,ha! No but really. Our first time here. Super good! It is a really small place. The chef said he makes all his sauces and everything in house. We split the burrito with green sauce. The green sauce was delicious. You can buy some to go if you want! The potatoes were really nice and chrispy, which gave good texture to the dish. The service was great as well. I loved this place! We came here at the end of our trip and were pleasantly surprised. There were two servers for the small building - serving, bussing, and hosting all at once and still so sweet. I chose this spot for breakfast in Prescott because it had green chile on the menu and my New Mexican boyfriend absolutely loves green chile. Unfortunately, he's also a vegetarian and was disappointed to learn that the green chile was not. Instead, he pivoted to the Ali (Diced tomatoes and bell peppers, fresh spinach, pesto, parmesan cheese & two eggs atop a bed of butter browns). I never thought of putting pesto with potatoes and eggs but it was great choice! I ordered the one pancake with scrambled eggs and asked to sub the meat for potatoes but was told that it wasn't possible. It's always a bummer when the breakfast meals only come with a meat option because I don't eat pork and it seems like potatoes would be the cheaper option for a side anyway. I told them just to hold the meat then because it would just go to waste at our table. The pancake was just okay until I asked for a side of jam which happened to be homemade and fabulous! We took an early morning trip out to Prescott to go by to Watson Lake and decided to also visit the main town square as we never had explored it at all. The main square is surrounded by lots of bars and restaurants as you'd expect and based on reviews we really wanted to try B Simple The restaurant is very small with just enough room to fit maybe 25 people or so and even has an open view to the kitchen where the owner cooks your meals. This is much more of an old diner feel that is a bit harder to find in today's age but definitely adds to the atmosphere. Because of the small space we had to wait around 30 minutes for a table so it's best to keep this in mind if you have a larger group as this can take time to accommodate. All of the menu is traditional hearty diner food which we were really looking forward to. We ended up getting the Wecked with a side of Butter Browns and the Sassy with Pesto Parm Tomatoes. Both of the meals were delicious and filling and they are more than worth their cost. I can still taste this food and I visited almost a week ago. OMG B simple is THE BEST breakfast in Prescott and I cannot wait to visit again. The bacon is extra crispy, just how it should be. I ordered the hash and it was SOOOO GOOD. when I asked for hot sauce they offered me the red or green Chile instead and I am SO GLAD they did. You can order these sauces to go as well and i would highly suggest you do so. The food here is just outstanding. The service was extremely friendly and there were only three staff working when I visited- they kicked butt! Great job to the staff and again- I can't wait to visit again.
