I used to live in Prescott 15 years ago and always went to Casa Sanchez for the huevos rancheros But even though yelp and their website said they were open, they were not ! luckily my friend who lives in Prescott said she heard about a new restaurant that opened up called "B Simple" located in the downtown square on Whiskey Row I have eaten hueves rancheros all over the United States and Mexico, it is my favorite breakfast, however they've got it perfect! It couldn't have been a better breakfast I got it with the chorizo and their butter potatoes which is something I have never had and it was amazing! We had an awful breakfast experience at this place. I rarely write reviews, but this was such a disappointment, I wouldn't want it to happen to anybody else. I arrived with my kids for breakfast and one of the servers was extremely unfriendly and made it know that she did not want us there. She made us feel extremely uncomfortable by literally glaring at our table every time she walked by. I ordered a veggie potato skillet with with sausage, when it arrived, the middle was ice cold. I respectfully asked if it could be cooked through, and she rolled her eyes and was super annoyed that I said anything. She took it to the counter, and my daughter saw her use her finger to poke through it, without any gloves on, she brought it back, threw it back on the table and said it was fine, it was just cold because they don't "cook" the vegetables and then walked away. This mostly breakfast spot is far from simple. The flavors on the Clint papas were complex and delicious. The thick cut bacon was the thickest I've ever had (and delicious to boot). The staff greets you as soon as you come in and you can also seat yourself. I came out to visit from L.A. and am pleased to find such a gem in a breakfast joint. The service was terrible for a small place with six tables and two waitresses, I'm surprised they couldn't handle this. We sat and waited for about 10 minutes before they took our order and at that time 2 tables were empty. We were a party of 2. I asked the 1st waitress for water with no ice. This is the best breakfast place in Prescott. The food is fresh and you won't leave hungry. It's small and only seats about 25 people at a time. There's usually a line unless you get there at the opening. I'd give it a 5 if they had one more employee busing tables. There are always two waitresses. They are friendly and hustle, but they are overworked as they have to bus and run back to help with dish washer at times. They'd do a lot more business if they had someone get tables cleared,a reset in a reasonable time, and seating people off the list. It makes the wait longer and people walk away. read more

I would've wanted a jar of it if they sold it on Sundays. ~Really good pancakes (around the edges), dense, flavorful, delicious syrup Cons: ~No substitutions allowed, forced to buy a $5 side dish of hash browns (instead of subbing hash browns for the bacon, which was not wanted) ~Raw middle of pancakes ~Painfully long wait time. We arrived at 11:11am on a Sunday (8/1) and we were not seated until 12:21pm AFTER multiple people who arrived later than us. We were a party of 4. Accommodations were made to pull up a chair to create a 5-person table for a different group, but when I asked if we could pull up a chair to create a 4-person table, I was told no. Also, 2 people who had just been seated at a 4-person table offered to move to a 2-person table to accommodate us to be seated. The blonde-ish hostess said no and nobody is moving. We easily could have been seated at least 20 minutes before we were actually seated if the 2-person wait staff was agreeable to it. However, both were rude when suggestions were made as to how we could be sat sooner. Instead of finding a way to let us sit at an available table after waiting an hour, they continued to seat people who had arrived after us. We were originally told it could take 45 minutes, and we were okay with that wait. We were not okay with zero accommodations to get us in as early as what would've been possible and skipping us to seat smaller parties when there multiple ways to get us seated in the order we arrived. ~One member of our party was standing with a cane, and it would've been nice for him to be able to sit someplace. ~While we were still waiting, the cook said not to accept anymore people on the waiting list, and that was before 12:21pm (when we finally got seated). They close at 1pm, so get there early. ~The server only topped off my coffee once, never checked back with me again for more, and let me sit there with an empty cup after that. Overall, this was not the best birthday breakfast experience for dining-in, regarding service, but the food was delicious. I'd happily order to-go food from this place at some point in the future when I'm back in town. I opted for the bacon-sausage gravy n cheese topping... yes, you read that correctly with more bacon inside and my friend got both the red and green sauce toppings with asada inside. Im a good plate cleaner and I couldn't finish this off, although I was close. Other dishes I saw around me looked really good too. Its a small cozy spot so keep that in mind when coming.
