My husband and I have eaten at Prescott Junction twice now, and both visits have been excellent. The food has been consistently delicious, and the service has been friendly and attentive every time. The atmosphere has that classic, old-school family diner feel, which can be charming. The building is definitely showing its age, though, and could use a little TLC. Even without a full renovation, a deep cleaning would go a long way in freshening up the space. I've ordered the chili relleno omelette both times, served with breakfast potatoes and a muffin. It's packed with flavor and has just the right amount of spice--for someone who thinks toothpaste is spicy! The first one was a little creamier, but both were outstanding. On our first visit, my husband had a BBQ sandwich (of some sort) with French fries, and he really enjoyed it. The second time, he decided to try the A1 Burger with a side of zucchini "coins" (which, amusingly, weren't actually round). He was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful the burger was, and it was cooked perfectly. We'll definitely be back to work our way through more of the menu. Went back and took our friends there for breakfast and lunch. Their staff is super friendly. The place has a homie country type feel to it. The only negative thing I will say about the place is their onion rings are not great. They were overcooked and they came in big clumpslike they were just thrown into the grease to cook, but not separated, it seems slightly lazy from a cook standpoint. So I had like three clumps made out of eight onion rings. I should've taken a picture, but this is something I think they could work on. We will still be back. This was an alright place at best with overall average food. The service overall was good and so was the ambiance as it felt like an old diner. But the place needs to do a better job organizing their menu and making things more specific with how the ordering works. They weren't clear on when my family and I went. We went for dinner and the menu made it sound like you can get the salad bar along with your meal. But when we paid we charged for 2 different things not have it altogether as the menu wasn't clear. So be careful what you order here and what you decide to do. read more

Service was super friendly and thoughtful. We had a baby with us and our waitress took care of her so well it was amazing. Decoration is kind of country style, with a delicious case full of baked goods greeting you as you enter. A very warm inviting place. The food was good, and portions are solid. (Try the Benedict). I stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon. A couple other people seated in the spacious and nicely decorated with Prescott photos and memorabilia dining area. The menu lists breakfast, lunch, and dinner items. I ordered the Patty Melt and fries. It was done perfectly on marbled rye grilled bread with grilled onions. The patty perfectly matched the shape of the bread which is a rare treat! Seasoned dipped crispy fries. A great burger! There was so much food that I barely finished. The service there was absolutely great, the waitress friendly, helpful, and attentive without being pushy or annoying - which we've experienced at a few other places. The food was pretty good, with the prices being reasonable for what you got. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 ONLY because some of what we ordered was not to our taste, although it wasn't BAD, per se; just not as good as it might've been, if that makes sense? However, most of it was just fine, very good and appealing visually, too. As for ambiance, it had a nice, homey feel; kind of like a place I could see us becoming regulars at. 4.25 stars. This place has been here a long time. I have had breakfast here once and lunch a couple times. I have to say everything I have had was really good. (Burger, BLT, and a breakfast plate). Fries are extra crispy without being over cooked (slightly breaded) and if you like ranch its house made and really good. Nothing cutting edge or elevated here just solid tasty old school cooking. Stopped in for breakfast and tried the egg and brisket scramble. Solid four star breakfast, large portions and very tender brisket. Homemade salsa was average. Rye toast was exceptional - coffee, pedestrian at best. A good, hot, strong cup may have bridged the gap to a 5 star review. Will come back to try a sandwich or salad bar. read more

This is a basic diner like Dennys, I-Hop, etc. I think this place was called JBs years ago. Anyway, it's got a decent size parking lot and even has a couple spots for electric vehicles to charge up. The menu here is pretty much that of a standard diner...breakfast, lunch, and dinner items. I didn't notice if there was a seniors section. I chose their chicken fried steak breakfast. It was pretty average tasting...not great, but not bad either. In my opinion, it's the gravy that makes a good CFS...and this one was just so-so. There was a small breakfast buffet option to choose from. It has most of your standard breakfast choices to select from. I gave it some thought but love a good CFS and went that way. I'll probably do the buffet next time. Everything was pretty standard for a diner. Nothing special stood out. I've eaten here under the previous ownership and now the new one. Not much has changed in my opinion. Prices have definitely gone up...but that's everywhere. If you're hungry, this place does the trick. read more

First impressions are important. Went in with my son for breakfast to try a different breakfast spot. There was a short wait to be seated. While waiting we asked the host if we saw a breakfast buffet in the back. She said it's a salad bar. A few more inquires with servers to confrim, yes it's a breakfast buffet. We ordered the breakfast buffet and dished up. It's hard to see the choices through the awkward plastic lids and isn't clearly labeled. Got some fruit, bacon, scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy. The buffet food was standard buffet quality, nothing special. The service was okay. the seating was not that comfortable. The interior is outdated and feels old school 70's along with the duwap back ground music. I'm a senior and like to eat at modern restaraunts and not feel like going back to the 70's. The smash burger was pretty tasty, although there was nothing smashed about it, it was just a regular ol', two patty burger, but still tasty. I also had the fish and chips the next night, and they were underwhelming because of the soft, soggy breading. Disappointing. Next time, I'm sticking with the unsmashed smash burger. My wife had the territorial omelet (bacon, spinach, mushroom, Swiss cheese) with hashed browns and I had the country fried steak with scrambled eggs and hashed browns. Since they have a senior menu, I had a smaller serving of country fried steak, which was sufficient. Everything was great.
