    Cubano with Peach Bellini

My husband and I met for lunch at Shirley's Urban Eats last Friday. Our meals were delicious, perfectly paired with an appropriate drink recommended by our friendly waiter, and presented in a timely manner. I had the Cubano and Peach Bellini and my husband had the hearty French cassoulet and Cabernet Sauvignon. This restaurant is now at the top of our list for eating out in Prescott.

Amazing dinner at Shirley's. Pork and Shrimp dumplings were next level. Delicious Goi Ga salad.

Had an amazing dinner at Shirley's. First time in but we will be back. The food was delicious and the menu is full or so many dishes I can't wait to try. Spectacular service from Chrissy our server and bartender. See you soon Shirley's.

    Torme burger, rosemary fries

I stopped by on a Friday afternoon around 1pm. Every seat was taken in the small and cozy dining area except for one at the bar. Good sign! I ordered the Torme burger medium rare and some crispy rosemary fries from the friendly and helpful server. The food arrived quickly. Burger was cooked perfectly and topped with grilled onions and tomatoes. The fries were spectacular. Think of the best crispy McD fry you ever had and imagine a plate of perfectly consistent ones with rosemary herbs and flaky sea salt. Best. Fries. Ever. Their menu is pretty big and amazingly diverse. I will definitely be coming back to try more items.

This is a photo of their excellent Torme Burger and one of my favorite servers.

The food was excellent. The service staff are fantastic, attentive, friendly and efficient. I would recommend this restaurant for a wonderful lunch!

Yes! The layered banana dessert was that good!

Food is fantastic and reasonably priced with great service. Parking can be a challenge but get there a little earlier than reservation.

The atmosphere has that classic, old-school family diner feel, which can be charming. The building is definitely showing its age, though, and could use a little TLC. Even without a full renovation, a deep cleaning would go a long way in freshening up the space. I've ordered the chili relleno omelette both times, served with breakfast potatoes and a muffin. It's packed with flavor and has just the right amount of spice--for someone who thinks toothpaste is spicy! The first one was a little creamier, but both were outstanding. On our first visit, my husband had a BBQ sandwich (of some sort) with French fries, and he really enjoyed it. The second time, he decided to try the A1 Burger with a side of zucchini "coins" (which, amusingly, weren't actually round). He was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful the burger was, and it was cooked perfectly. We'll definitely be back to work our way through more of the menu. Maybe one of these visits we'll even give in and try the salad and taco bar!

They have a large inside eating area but also a beautiful patio and the weather was perfect! I had the prickly pear cider, which was dry but crisp. They let my friend sample multiple wines before picking, which I thought was great choice and the pours were generous. They only have beer and wine from what I saw but a large selection! For dinner my grandpa had the beet salad which he really enjoyed but heavy on the dressing. My grandma had the chicken wrap, also delicious and enough for two meals! My friend and I shared the mahi mahi tacos and a chicken quesadilla. The portion was perfect. The tacos were phenomenal, some of the best I've had. The quesadilla was also huge with good salsa. I recommend their green hot sauce, it was spicy but not too hot and paired well with the tacos and quesadilla! Will definitely be a Prescott favorite!

When we finally get up to the register, we tried to order breakfast at 11:02 and the cashier sharply told us we just stopped serving breakfast at 11:00. She felt rude when she said to us as well, but that's just our opinion. I understand swapping the menu over at a certain time and gearing the kitchen towards a lunch focused menu, but we were in line WELL BEFORE 11 am, and the person in front of the person in front of us, ordered breakfast! I'm usually not someone to write a review on anything, much less a negative one, but I feel like a little understanding would've been appropriate. We ended up getting a wonderful breakfast around the corner at The Cowboy Kitchen. (Wayyyy better vibe anyway.)

My husband tried the French toast breakfast with bacon and thought it was delicious. I ordered a Ham & Cheese Omelette (well done) with a side of crispy hash browns and they were both cooked to perfection. My only issue was the amount of ham that was served. It truly was very minimal and I would've preferred that the ham be mixed with the egg as opposed to spooned in the fold, but I guess I should've requested it that way. Our friends had their usual Chicken Fried Chicken and Eggs with Bacon breakfasts and both had the house potatoes, which I got to try and they were fantastic! I would certainly order them instead of the hash browns next time. One of our friends also added a waffle to his breakfast and we all took a quarter of it (because sharing is caring! ). I'm not a huge fan of waffles, so I cant really give an opinion one way or another. I'm guessing it was good, because they ate it! Anyway, cute little establishment with friendly service and a place that I'd surely return to in the future.

Ask them why they removed the picture of Charlie Kirk from their window.
