(I thought it odd that a repair/replacement of a liner surrounding a tire didn't require the removal of the wheel, but it apparently doesn't.) I was a customer of Dave's and was disappointed to see that they had been taken over by B Street. However, I found the new shop to be very clean, attractive, modern (but with cool old automotive signs) and spacious, and the people are just as friendly and professional. The work got done as fast as possible and they took care of dealing with my insurance company when my insurance company was dropping the ball. I HOPE I never have to come back, since that means something bad has happened to my car but I would not hesitate to return to B Street - Irvington if that was the case. RECOMMENDED!

To come to the point - I went to Gateway on the opposite end of town from me, to look at another vehicle that ended up not being a good match for me, but, next to it was a Honda Pilot, little older, with some miles. Vehicle had some moderate work done yet, Ben offered this information without my even asking. Try getting THAT somewhere else!!! Perfect vehicle for my needs. Love it! Now it's time to talk money and I meet Ben, the co-owner and main sales force. The vehicle seemed to need a couple minor things to help make me comfortable with the purchase, and these were done, WITH a LOANER car, thanks to Ben. Dave at the front counter is Ben's right hand man, and very capable. Every employee I bumped into or interacted with at Gateway was at minimum professional, and as I understand it they are all ASE certified! Between them all, the agreed minor repairs were completed, my full smile installed, deal struck. A good deal. In closing, now many hundreds of miles later, my vehicle is running and behaving perfectly. I bought this at a fair price and Dave and Ben did what they said they would do, and did so respectfully and promptly. He was patient, thorough and walked me through the initial inspection and explained where certain costs came into play. They did the work in the time quoted and in my case the actual cost was significantly lower than the estimate. I still need some chrome they couldn't find a match for but it wasn't part of the quote in the first place. I'm very happy with Dent Crafters. I hope I don't need another body shop but if I do they'll be my first call!

My alignment was off, I was unable to open my passenger side door, etc. I left my car there after my insurance company recommending them to do my repairs. Let me just say that it was not 100% their fault. My lien holder decided to take the amount that it would take to fix my car and apply it to my car payment. However, I knew that if we had done repairs through them it would have been a major headache. I'm probably 98% sure that they inflated the cost to repair our vehicle. So my lien holder probably saw right through that. Also, we were never even offered a rental vehicle through them, we ended up having to use Enterprise, and they were amazing. Baxter Auto Body could probably learn a thing or two from them. A MONTH LATER, we finally went to get our vehicle back. The windshield wiper was off of the vehicle, they left chalk writing permanently stained on our door handles, our gas was lower than when we brought it in and they told us that it would cost us about $100 to fix these things... seriously? How shady can you be? I will NEVER bring my car here again for repairs. Take your car anywhere else.

I tried communicating my options being that my drive to get there was extremely long, the receptionist was very patient and understanding but Steve kept interjecting and yelling from his back office instead of coming to address his customer. Once he finally stepped out of his office - he began trying to belittle me and go back and forth over an issue that was out of my control. What's even worse is that my child was with me witnessing everything. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone! I am a customer who had $5k worth of damage. I brought them business and was treated like shit. Steve is horrible!!!!
