Their selection of yarn is extensive and very organized; Juni and Si was holding a trunk show while I was there. They have a variety of both local and famous yarn (ie Madtosh, Malabrigo, Berroco), and most of all, their staff is the sweetest bunch. But, but! The thing I loved most is the sheer number of needles and notions they carry: both singular sizes and also full sets from different vendors (Lykke, Chiaogoo, KP). You can spend hours here brainstorming a project and buying everything you need to start swatching. I bought some cute pine cone stitch markers, a skein from Juni and Si for some socks and an Addi needle (with which I'm already in love with and off to the races on a new project). I found that behavior very off putting and it happened twice during my discussion with her. Have some respect for your fellow employees as they aren't dogs you can snap your fingers at, they are human and should be treated as such. I ended up leaving and just ordering what I needed from another shop. If the owner or store manager sees this please encourage better behavior. I can't imagine how this employee treats other employees when customers aren't present. The employee who was rude was of Asian decent if this helps identify who was working today.

I'm a 73-year-old recent widow who was looking for a new activity. I hadn't sewn in over 50 years…read moreand didn't even own a sewing machine, but I decided to sign up for a class with Katie. What a great decision. Katie is a wonderful teacher, sewing machines were provided and I quickly fell in love with quilting. The class was welcoming, encouraging and I enjoyed learning a new skill. I'm now working on my second quilt, with the goal of donating to hospitals. This experience has given me a relaxing activity and a new chapter in my life. I am so grateful that I took that first step, and I highly recommend this class to anyone-especially those who think it's too late to try something new.

So they really wanted to know if you got what you were looking for! I was impressed. Their supplies of sewing machines and vacuums was pretty extensive. I was also impressed with the amount of classes that they offer to learn how to sew at any age. It's a large building with a lot of products and plenty of sales people that were knowledgeable and willing to help. I did take my old vacuum cleaner in to have it serviced, and no judgment passed. They just did a great job.

I am accustomed to being treated very well at this store. Today I was greeted by a very nice sales…read morerepresentative who offered to carry my sewing machine in for me. She tried to help me with the needle stuck in my 8 month old, $900 Babylock machine but ended up taking it in back to get help fixing it. When she brought it back the needle was out but I was told a new needle couldn't be installed and that I'd need to leave my machine for service which would take 3 weeks because their service department is very busy (no kidding!) When I said that was too long and asked what else could be done the sales associate left and came back with her Manager. He immediately began trying to determine what I had done to cause this problem, including asking me if I'd purchased the machine new. I made it clear this was the first time the needle had been changed, so he then switched tactics, attempting to blame me for not having changed the needle sooner. He was rude and unpleasant and treated me as if I was a child who deserved to be punished. He easily fixed the problem, reiterated what I might have done to cause the problem, then marched off. This 'manager' needs some lessons in how to treat customers- his actions have really changed my opinion of Quality Sewing and Vacuum.

It was my first time visiting an independent yarn store so when I initially walked in, I wasn't sure where to start other than knowing I wanted something from a local dyer. One of the team members pointed me to the Washington dyers & answered my questions. They also were kind enough to wind the skeins without any extra charge which I greatly appreciated! So Much Yarn left a memorable and favorable impression!
