Natalia i believe my server's name was, was beautiful and very sweet. the type of server who deserves more than a 20% tip; because my signature drink didn't taste right and she was so sweet to have the bar remake it. I came here tonight for the first time with a friend - I'm a new mom and it was nice to get out of the house. The ambiance was also very nice, with Christmas decorations up. The parking situation is a little weird, the lot is basically to the left of the restaurant, and if you try to park in the plaza to the right of it, there are signs up saying they will tow you. My friend and I started out with the baked feta, which was delicious. I don't really like olives so I asked for those on the side. It came with tomatoes on top and naan bread for dipping. For our entrees, I got the chicken limone - chicken piccata is one of my favorite dishes and this is very similar. It's $29 which I thought was a bit expensive but you do get a gigantic portion, I brought half of it home. My friend got what she thought was a salad but it was more of like a Mediterranean small chicken dish, and she got a side of the beef tallow fries, which we both thought were expensive at $7, but it was very tasty and she said it was worth it. Everything on the dessert menu looked great but we ended up splitting the campfire funnel fries, and it came out in the shape of a campfire! Very nice presentation. Waitservice was a bit slow, we had a separate person coming to refill our water and overall that was consistent until the end though. Very average food. We went at 5pm on a Thursday and the service was incredibly slow at a time when they were not busy. She didn't see our waitress for 39 min after we were done eating. There's not many vegetarian options because everything is friend in beef tallow. The spicy rigatoni was decent, but you pay for the sausage even if you remove it, and still have to pay the regular add-on cost to substitute another protein. A very nice casual dining spot that does a great job of melding craft cocktails with a tasty bistro style menu. For our first dining experience here we ended up ordering the Truffle flat bread, beef sliders and Falafel burger and Boubon Smash cocktails. The truffle flatbread had brie cheese, onion, jam, mushroom, arugula and truffle oil that formed a wonderful combination that was oh so tasty and our favorite of what we ate. The slider had three small burgers made from Snake River Farms beef (well known beef distributor that is nationally recognized) that was well cooked and very tasty where the beef is cooked to a medium doneness (if Well cooked is desired , needs to be ordered that way). Lastly The falafel burger was great as well according to my wife. The Bourbon Smash cocktail had a unique spin to what I usually make where it had Blueberry and lemons as part of its components that gave it a unique flavor profile. The cocktail though well made, was a tad sweet for my tastes and could have used a tad more mint in my opinion. Relative to facility, it is modern, clean with a comfy vibe with lowered lighting adding a touch of class to the business. Defeninatly a good spot for a romantic/date night meal. Staff was super friendly where they operate on a slower pace giving you more time to enjoy the experience which I can see being a plus or a minus depending on if you are in a rush or just want to relax and enjoy the experience. Overall a very nice business that hits on all cylinders where we will be returning in the near future. My cousin and I visited for the first time on a Saturday evening. We couldn't get a reservation but decided to sit at the bar. They serve the full menu and there's no wait if a seat is available. We ordered a bunch of apps to try...all were delicious! The beef tips were my favorite, I'd order that as an entree. The Arancini were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Balanced flavor and yum. The Brussel sprouts were surprisingly tasty. They were crispy and had a nice crunch with the bacon mixed in. We also ordered the smash burger with fries to try, which was overboard. It was also so good, but after one bite, I had to box it up. To drink it down, I got the Mango Sunset. It's a dangerous drink because you can't taste the alcohol it's so good, but I definitely felt it as a lightweight. I would love to order that all the time. It's refreshing, especially on a cold fall evening. The restaurant is calm and welcoming, yet lively and romantic. It was an overall wonderful dinner. We were looking for a place that was open late on a weeknight, and West End was open until 1:00a.m., so we decided to check it out. First of all, it was SO loud! We were sitting at a small table for 2 and had to shout to talk to each other. We also realized that we were not the proper demographic for this restaurant; we could easily have been the parents -- or perhaps grandparents -- of most of the clientele and waitstaff. On to the food. There were not a lot of choices. I had a chicken sandwich that came with shoestring fries. My sister had a flatbread. My sandwich was ok for me, but by any other standards, it was very dry. (I'm just odd that I don't mind dry chicken.) My sister got the flatbread with arugula. It had too much arugula for her, but all of the other flatbreads were too spicy. And, my fries were spicy as well. It seemed that the staff was new; they were walking around but not engaging with customers at all. Our server saw that we were done but he walked by us several times before we could ask him for the bill. I suppose if you're young and like loud atmospheres, this was fine. The drinks were good both times I visited. I had Lemon Drops! I want to say that the bar staff were so cool and welcoming. They were patient and were willing to custom out anything. The only thing was management, you need to figure out the reservation and walk-in thing. I brought them at least $400 in meals that night I was there, but they almost lost our business. When I first came in they had all the tables marked for reservations, so we sat at the bar. Two-hours later those tables were still there. I have no doubt it is hard to be sure if your reservations are coming in, just want them to do that better. Overall, I LOVE the vibe, it's a cozy beautiful place. Super cute inside but the best part was the food- almost everything we got was delicious! We came as a big group and ordered just about everything and passed them around. Items that really stood out were the baked feta, Mykonos flatbread and lemon chicken! The calamari misto had great potential but was honestly pathetic how few pieces of calamari was in there- it was easily 95% breaded peppers :( lemon chicken had the best flavor out of the entrees but the portion of chicken was so small. Waitress was apologetic and said they had to remake them due to an issue. They were good once we got them though. The dinner was overall good - salmon tasted good and was well cooked. The challenge was the spicy (rigatoni?) pasta dish. There was clearly no control on the amount of spice on this. Person who got it was too nice to send it back but I tried and it was like Thai hot. I could only have one noodle and I think my tolerance is okay. Way too much spice which they said they add on. We got multiple desserts which were good. The deep fried churros stick things with ice cream was unique and good. They ended up taking off the apps and the pasta off the bill as they knew we had a challenging experience which we appreciated.
