Was told the car was looked over by their "mechanic" and there were no issues with the exception of new tires "likely needed". If only that were true. I have put over $4000 into the car and now lights are coming on all across the dash for what is predicted another 500-1000 worth of electronic malfunctions. I took the car to my mechanic and they pulled the CV axles off to find they were nearly broken in half. It needed fluid in basically every place it could possibly need. The brakes were completely trashed (needed new rear pads and calipers). The wheel bearings were damn near falling apart. The electrical system was needing to be completely re-set (and still having issues with this). This all being said this car is a 2020!I wasn't able to pay the total $4000 right away so it has been approximately 1.5-2 months since I bought the car when I was finally able to pay off the repairs. So I brought a total bill of everything and the owner had the audacity to tell me if I had called the next day he might've been able to do something. The next day?? $4000 isn't a one day thing. There is no way this car passed safety inspections and no way any mechanic could look at the car and say there weren't "issues". If I could give this place a 0/5 I wouldn't hesitate to do so. I attempted to go talk with them before I posted this because I don't like openly trashing where people earn their money and this is my first negative review IN MY LIFE. When I brought the bill in and showed them they stated "Well at the end of the day it is a used car" This place doesn't care about good business. Worst experience and staff I've ever dealt with. Also after looking through the reviews the only "5 star review" is manufactured and FAKE! The account has only reviewed 3 places and the 2 other were other dealers in the area. We were even given an example of another person that had a transmission go bad, and how they took care of it. Within 6 days of purchasing, the car began overheating and broke down on the side of the highway. When we reached out to them and brought the car back they tried to tell us it was "as it". When we told them about the kid in the office verbally telling us something different, he then told us to bring the vehicle down. After the vehicle sitting there for days, we were told the mechanic is out of the country and we should just come pick it up and deal with it ourselves since they have no obligation to fix it. The kid basically laughed when I told him I would contact our attorney, saying "Don't waste your time and money - there's nothing you can do about it." Perhaps a little legal knowledge would help - NC does not have a lemon law, but we do have FEDERAL AND STATE protection under the Federal Trade Commission Act (UDTPA) Section 5: Unfair or Deceptive Acts or Practices. I highly recommend recording your conversations when visiting this dealership (as we did), and If this has happened to you - CONTACT AN ATTORNEY. In case you have never worked on a car, replacing a rear main seal requires that you remove the transmission. Major work at a more than fair price. On the couple of occasions I've had work done he always tells me if you have any problems bring it back and we will correct it. Very honest. I guess the guy way back in 2013 with a bad review had a different experience than the rest of us.
