    My Ham sandwich

In a time of rising prices and smaller portions. This location seems to bucking the trend. My ham sandwich was filled with ample portions of ham and veggies. Good friendly service. Typical ambiance of other Ba Le shops. Enjoy

    Special Sandwich: Ham, Pate, Pork

This is the banh mi I grew up eating and happy that it tastes the same as I remembered it. The special sandwich (ham, pate, pork) is always my go-to. You can choose from croissant or French bread. They toast the bread for you. The fillings were fresh and not skimpy. While the flavors didn't stand out in any special way, it's a solid banh mi. Cash only. Takeout only.

I haven't been here since years before C pandemic. Same owners. Currently Cash only, take-out only. We really wanted the croissant sandwiches; but they only had the French banh mi bread. So we ordered 2 lemongrass chicken, 1 each pastrami and the "special" (pork, pate, ham). Surprisingly the French bread was fresh and easy to bite through. And the banh mi sandwiches were pretty good tasting. We weren't disappointed at all. I would call in advance to check if they have croissants. If you want Sriracha sauce, you have to ask.

This is a small moms & pops spot in Kaneohe. it's situated in a small plaza with parking. We decided to come here to grab some banh mi sandwiches before we head out to the airport. It was perfect that they opened at 10am, it took about 10 mins to get our sandwiches. We got the Special w/ ham, pate, pork & lemon grass chicken. The special was decent but lemon grass chicken was meh. The lemongrass flavor just wasn't there. The sandwiches are decent size where you would be full. I would def come back to support local small business and try their other food. I wish they would accept credit card though, it's CASH only.

I believe in treating others with the utmost respect. I called in an order which was pretty much a steamed pork sandwich. I told the woman I wanted a CHA LUA sandwich with everything just like the special combo. She did not understand when I said Cha LUA (I assumed they were Vietnamese) so "Steamed Pork" it is! I got there and I just wanted to make sure the order was correct. I asked if there was Pate in it and she said "no you said just the steamed pork". Mind you, my whole interaction with the woman was completely calm. No voices were raised, not even a stink eye... You could already tell she was just super grumpy to begin with. I'm not sure if that's just her natural demeanor and tone but she was simply just rude. I explained, "I mentioned the combo sandwich because I was trying to explain I wanted everything the same except JUST STEAMED PORK no ham/head cheese. Including the pate and all." No biggie - I asked her nicely if she could just add the pate in the sandwich. She said "no, I can't do that anymore." And then asked again if I could just have the pate on the side - I could just do it myself. She said "no, we don't do that". Saw that I had my card out and said, "we accept cash only". I had cash, but I just said OK and walked out. It wouldn't have been such a big deal if she tried to work with me and maybe idk..... Show a little kindness? I didn't argue with her - I just couldn't take the disrespect and didn't think twice. I just walked out. I understand that EVERYONE is going through something. This very much includes me - but if you're going to run a business, please show your customers kindness & respect. I am a business owner myself so I completely understand.

This is one of my "go to" spots for quick take out. It's a combination of local vietnamese/chinese cuisine, family owned and operated. The owners are very nice; and I always enjoy talking story with them, while I wait for my order. A few of my favorites include: the combination sandwich, bbq chicken sandwich, chicken and eggplant, choi sum and chicken cake noodle, and bitter melon with either chicken or beef. The prices are very reasonable, and the plates are filling.

Sandwiches were good. Cash only. It was first time for me there. The staff was so busy talking stories with regulars. Old. Take out only.

You never disappoint. You leave me happy, satisfied, and wondering why I don't visit you more often. My friends love you. My family loves you. Life has been good. But... I got curious. As you know, Mike recently moved into town. Everyone kept talking about him. They said I had to give him a chance. Against my better judgment, I caved. Yesterday... I cheated. I walked through his doors, placed my order, and waited. Deep down, I knew it was wrong. Every bite was bland. Every chew was seasoned with regret. The only thing I brought home was the lingering taste of guilt and the realization that I had made a terrible mistake. I don't know what I was looking for when you already give me everything I need. Please know it meant nothing. It was a moment of weakness. You were right here all along, and I foolishly took you for granted. If you'll have me back, I promise to be loyal from this day forward. Forgive me, Timmy. P.S. Mike... it's not me, it's you.

This is honestly one of my favorite lunch spots, and I try to make it here at least once a week. The sandwiches are always fresh, loaded with quality ingredients, and well worth the price. There are plenty of places to grab a sandwich, but very few that make you want to come back week after week. Timmy T's absolutely nails it. If you want a reliable sandwich shop you'll find yourself craving multiple times a week, look no further!

Also, on the Weekends you have Live Music while you eat. The menu is catered to the Local Hawaiian-American Breakfast, Brunch, or Lunch taste. It is pretty large as you could order Breakfast from open to Close at 2 PM. From simple Eggs, Rice, & Meat; Omelets, Pancakes & Waffles, to Plate Lunches, Sandwiches, and fresh Fruits and Desserts. On the Menu, some are marked as Popular Dishes, like mines Hapa Loco Moco Bowl: Hamburger patty and Corned Beef Hash Patty in Loco Moco form. Since it is covered in gravy and the egg, you only can tell the meat is cutting into or looking for it while eating. I'm glad Mac Salad or other sides are Ala Carte or sold separately because I was stuffed after eating it. Service was awesome! Staff was nice and friendly. I saw one was willing to talk story to a table who was asking about the Business'History. Only complaint and drop a Star is Beverage Refills. While family got Coffee refills, I vaguely remember Water refills and more important was my Drink (Raspberry Iced Tea) even though it was a Big cup, no one checked if I wanted more. (I would have taken 1/2 glass full towards the end or topped off depending when they asked.) 2nd time here, if it wasn't a family outing and good time the first time, I would only return if the fam wants to come here again for Brunch/Lunch after we pay our respects to family at Valley of the Temple the nearby Cemetery.

Inside is airconditioned with around maybe 10 tables and chairs some seat 2 others eat 4 and they also have outside patio seating back and front. The parking can be challenging having maybe 10 -12 spots in their lot and some street parking . Their Menu is a bit more limited than their other location. I usually order the chicken pesto sandwich, which is always a great choice, but today I decided to branch out and try the Beach Burger and the Margherita Pizza.
