This place fulfilled a craving. Portion sizes were good and prices were fair. Service was friendly and fast, no complaints. Inside is spacious and has plenty of seating; my uncle's electric scooter fit inside fine. Overall, nothing amazing but solid place to get pho!

Saito & Pho is such a cool spot because you get the best of both worlds -- Vietnamese and Japanese food under one roof. If you're craving comfort, the Combo Pho is the move. You'll get a little bit of everything: beef, sliced rare beef, brisket, meatballs, tendon, and tripe. Super hearty, super flavorful, and perfect for when you can't decide what you're in the mood for. Plenty of free parking at Windward City Shopping Center.

Very surprised to find a decently tasty pho noodle place in Kaneohe. Restaurant was moderately busy on a Sunday afternoon. Parking is ok and there are an ample places to park. Interior was a little dark and maybe not cleanest but chalk it up as party of experience. Waitstaff appeared to be a couple so service many a little slow. Ordered a medley of items such as pho, spring rolls, sandwiches. Food came out quickly. Nothing disappointed. Food hit the spot! Crispy spring rolls were crunchy, beef noodle soup very full body, noodles were cooked perfectly. Sandwich was hearty and filling. Thai tea made a great accompaniment. Will definitely be back!

Originally came here to have some pho, but was blown away by the options given. They offer plate lunches that comes with miso soup and salad. You can also upgrade your meal and add on sashimi and tempura. The shrimp and vegetable tempura was my favorite!! Everything you order comes out fresh. They cook everything to order. Fast and quick service. The only down fall was when I saw the server fixing her hair by the counter in front of packed food. She was doing the most putting her hair in a bun while watching something on her phone. Also noticed white rings around the cups like they weren't thoroughly washed. I know they weren't hard water stains because I took the stain off by rubbing it with my fingers. The restaurant itself is big and looked organized and clean. Just some hygiene practices need to be enforced with the staff. All in all I gotta say food was delicious and I'm pretty impress how they cooked everything to order (nothing sitting under a warmer).

With the cold and rainy weather that's hitting our state this weekend, it's a great idea to fill the belly with delicious and warm food. Here at Saito and Pho, you have the best of both Japanese and Vietnamese flavors at your fingertips. We enjoyed the pho, tonkatsu, a pork sandwich and an order of crab rangoons. #bigboyproblems

First time today! My daughter visiting from Kauai and she wanted to visit her grandparents at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. We had already planned to eat here after. I found prime parking right next to the restaurant located in the Windward shopping center. Service was great! Promptly greeted and then served our waters. Such a nice restaurant! Love the color of the walls, color that creates calmness :) My daughter ordered us gyoza and springs rolls for appetizers. She got the medium brisket with meatballs pho, my son got the Wafu steak and I got the medium combo pho. We also got the French press iced coffee. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! We left with happy bellies! Thank you Saito & Pho Kaneohe! Service was superb!

Was around the shopping center and have been craving pho we stopped by this restaurant for lunch. You're able to choose your own seats and the server/host brings you the menu. Upon ordering we weren't greeted at all, older gentlemen just came by the table and stared at us, not a single "hello" or "what can i get for you?" just stared, it was lowkey awkward. We ordered our food and then he just said "okay" and left. Service is a 1/5. Food is good if you're around the area. I've had better on the West Side. I always get steak and brisket, add hoisin, chili oil and it's what makes the pho delicious.

Side of noodles don't like mushy noodles edamame and Vegan broth veggie Pho. Delicious

I love coming here. I'm a Vegan and I had a few Vegan broth Pho and to be honest other places, their broth is tasteless and watered down not here! It was seasoned well and had a great taste and lots of veggies that were al dente. I DISLIKE mushy veggies and as you can see it's a big soup bowl that I didn't even make a dent it so portions are a lot. Service is excellent and prompt I didn't wait long to receive my food and my waitress kept checking to see if I needed anything which I didn't. Ambiance was great clean and welcoming if ever in Kaneohe stop bring an appetite and enjoy a bowl of pho and edamame.

This is a hidden gem tucked away in the corner of Windward City Shopping Center. For those having a hankering for Asian food, this is the place to go. Their soups have a wonderful broth and are served hot. I like their pot stickers which are delivered crispy and hot. The service is very good and on our last visit, there were only 3 servers for 20 tables. Yet these folks were able to keep up with helping the guests. Highly recommend visiting this place. You won't be disappointed!

Second, time here, decided to give them a try again, first time everything was ok,food good. Today, Tuesday we came before the dinner crowd, it was a good time for us as there was a staff of two upfront, we chose our table, had to wait awhile for the menu's. & water to come. Staff of a male & female were not overly friendly. The female took our order& the food arrived ample time. My wife's Brisket pho was a very good portion& commented how tasty the broth was! I had the wafu steak, very well seasoned & came delivered on a sizzling plate w/ cooked onions in a delicious sauce. Came with miso soup & bowl of toss salad. We had a side of tempura with shrimp & sweet potato with dipping sauce. While the food is delicious and we appreciated the cleanliness of the restaurant , their staff is efficient, but lack that Aloha friendly, warm vibe.3 stars for this visit. Would return for the food , but probably not bring in friends for a hosted party!

The food is really good! Probably best for carrying out, I dined in but they weren't happy for people to dine in. I thought it was just me, but others were treated dispassionately, as well. The guy with the pony tail, wouldn't look at me while I placed the order. Facing the computer screen I couldn't tell if he was hearing me until the order came, also half wrong. It was still yummy and a happy I went for the dinner but not the reception.

Saito Pho is definitely worth checking out. One of the best pho spots I've been to on the east side of the island. The broth is perfectly seasoned--not too salty, just full of flavor. The noodles have that perfect bouncy texture and the portions they give are generous. The service was fast

Golden Pho is a treasure. This owner-operated restaurant makes you want to come back for more…read more That's not great for me since I'm a townie and Golden Pho is located in Kaneohe. But if I'm on the Windward side, this is my go-to, all the time. They have one of the most extensive menus I've seen in a Vietnamese joint--everything from bahn mi, to udon noodles, to curries, to pho, to noodle soups, to appetizers, to à la carte entrees, to desserts. There is something for everyone and it gives me reason to keep coming back to try different dishes. So far, I had the shrimp udon (but slurped that up so quickly I didn't get a picture), papaya salad, lemongrass tofu vermicelli, and shrimp summer rolls. Hubby enjoyed the Pho, MIL adores the pork udon. Came here on a date, with the MIL, and with friends. Received great service each time and devoured all our dishes with delight. Not one thing to complain about. Also love their variety of sauces available on the table--don't even have to ask! The coffee was delicious too. I had it black and it was rich and smooth, no bitterness at all. And I split the fried banana dessert with friends (avoided the ice cream)...which I should mention I'm pescatarian and I avoid dairy. Love a place where I can enjoy my meal along with the company of my meat-eating, dairy-drinking loved ones. Again, something for everyone. Parking is on the side of the building. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Restrooms are very clean. Worth the drive to the 96744 zip code. Will definitely be back soon!

Inside/Outside Seating: Tight seating inside but it felt cozy during the rainstorms we've been having. They also have beautiful outdoor seating too. Theres only such a handful of super good food on this side and I'm definitely adding it to my list. The food is simple no frills but it tastes like a nice homemade meal with love. I really appreciate that they don't load half of the vermicelli dish with veggies. Instead, they gave us the veggies on the side. Service: Friendly Mom and Pops ran establishment. The owners actually have several other locations in town called "Pho Viet" but each is equally as tasty in my opinion. Overall 4/5 because I've tasted the best of the best and this is close!

How lucky was that!? This "minor misfortune" of the long line resulted in my sampling an extraordinary Bahn Mi sandwich. I'll keep this short, and simply share that the lemongrass chicken version of their Bahn, was, as the kids say these days, "FIRE!" . I'm embarrassed to say that I only discovered Bahn mi sandwiches about 3 years ago, but have loved them ever since. The overall experience of chomping down on a typical Bahn mi is that the combination of textures that come from the marriage of "crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside" bread, and the soft flavorful meats and crunchy vegetables is pleasurable. But toss in the flavors that range from savory to tangy to sweet, and then off to spicy, are pretty-much as close to the definition of what a harmonious and complementary meal, that excites the tastebuds, should be. I've probably had 30 of them in my life, and I would say, Saigon Noodle puts one together that just moved into my personal favorite for this blended cultures sandwich. The owner served me, and he's one of those guys who you instantly like. It's hard to put words together to describe why he was so likable and pleasant, but on my visit, his "A-game" of friendliness and charm was on. But, even if he had a "Bahn Mi Nazi" personality, I'd still go for the sam-ich. It was really good!!

Your service is absolute garbage. This morning, I called to place an order. I initially tried using Vietnamese to order two PDBs, but the woman who answered couldn't understand me. I switched to English and asked for two "Pho Combinations." She understood that, took the order, and told me it would be ready in 10 minutes. I also wanted to order Quẩy, so I asked, "Can I get one Quẩy?" Again, she didn't understand. So I clarified in English: "Add one Chinese doughnut." Guess what her response was? She condescendingly told me, "This is a Vietnamese restaurant, not a Chinese restaurant." What the hell is your problem? On your very own menu, that item is literally listed as a "Chinese doughnut." As a server, you don't even know your own restaurant's menu, yet you have the audacity to respond to a customer with such an arrogant, rude, and racially discriminatory attitude. It's disgusting. Everyone knows you are a Vietnamese restaurant. But Quẩy is widely known as a Chinese doughnut, and that is exactly how it is written on your menu. Learn your own menu. To make matters worse, when I arrived 20 minutes later, the front desk told me my phone order hadn't even been made yet and that I had to wait. What on earth was the point of me calling ahead? It's a complete joke. If you are going to be this arrogant and rude, and if you hate Chinese culture so much, why is your restaurant located in Chinatown? Why don't you move to a Vietnamese neighborhood? This is Chinatown. This restaurant has incredibly low-quality staff and a glaring issue with discrimination. It is absurd that an employee can work here without even knowing the menu. To openly disrespect and discriminate against Chinese customers--when you are located in Chinatown and 80% of your repeat customers are Chinese--is pathetic. Take your business elsewhere.
