Good variety of bagels but very limited cream cheese selection. Service is disappointingly slow and unwelcoming. Owner was even staring as we eat for no reason. Poor first impression. Small place and really meant for takeouts. Much better service and bagel options at old Bagel Barn 2 miles away in same town or The Bagel Nook in Princeton just 2-5 miles south. read more

First off. Staff was very pleasant. I like a doughy bagel and this was one. Got a breakfast sandwich and it was done very well. Chocolate chip bagel was fine. Wouldn't necessarily get that again. Prices were a bit high but nothing crazy. They also were sold out of a lot of bagels by noon on a Saturday. Not sure if they don't make enough or get extremely busy. Overall. Easy review. This place is very clean and well organized. It's a family run business and the entire family are very kind. Abe, the owner came outside and sat with me for several minutes to talk about the business and how much he enjoys doing what he does. Extremely humble owner who shows appreciation for each and every customer that walked through the door. I was very impressed with the amount of customers who he knew by name. The bagels are sponge soft and very fresh as they are made daily. I really enjoyed my sandwich and will definitely comeback for lunch sometime. Totally recommend. read more

Walked in to Baba's Bagels. Beautiful outside beautiful inside. That was it. Looked up to where the bagels were no one greeted me. There were only half the bagels made early in the morning on a Monday. Then I finally get the girls attention after I have to flag her down. I asked for a quarter pound of cream cheese. Wish they had a very limited amount of. She tells me you can only get a half a pound. I agreed then she stuffs $9 worth of cream cheese in a container. It being $11 a pound which is ridiculously expensive. Half a pound would be $5.50 not $9.00. The bagel was okay but nothing special. They had macaroni salad in the window you could tell had hard pieces that were different color than the rest. I will not be going back. On top of that I get home and try the chocolate chip cream cheese and it was horrible threw it away and wasted $9. Never again read more

Been going here since they opened. Bagels are great, however, about a month or so, I ordered a dozen bagels, I was traveling and when I arrived at my destination, I was shorted 4 bagels but paid for a dozen. Now, not sure what is going on there but went on a Monday and they were closed, usually open everyday. Went back the next day and ordered 6, yes 6 bagels. Mini shopping bag was full and when I got home, again I was short a bagel. Again, owner has not been there, there are very few bagels to choose from and I am big on supporting local but do not want to be short changed. read more

I went for the first time (a few weeks ago). Looked at the board with options/prices. I ordered at the register - when charge was rung up it was $2 MORE than board indicated. I asked why- reply was - exact price was ONLINE. WHAT?!?! I didn't order online. Hopefully they have UPDATED their price board I DID pay but do not plan on returning. Last Sunday morning we called in our order in advance for pickup to avoid the in-person wait time, and my husband enjoyed his sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel and I enjoyed my bacon, egg, and cheese on an egg everything more than the pork roll we got last Sunday (we're just not pork roll people). The bacon was crispy and not fatty or oily. The calling in advance for pickup to avoid the wait time during peak times (weekend mornings) made our experience even better. read more

This is not just a bagel shop. The all white meat Chicken Kabab is worth a consideration when looking for a quick low fat dinner. We picked up 2 orders that had 2 skewers of chicken, seasoned and grilled with onions and peppers. Nicely seasoned rice, a simple lettuce and tomato salad, a side of hot sauce and yogurt. The shop closes at 5:30, so order early and it's easy to rewarm, squeeze lemon on the fresh veggies and dinner is done. Not made for families to eat there. No bathroom. Btw, if you don't want people to have refills on coffee then either don't leave all the coffee out in the open or just put a sign that says no refills. No need to question me just because I walked up again to add creamer, sheesh. Even if the bagels are decent the environment felt hostile. Also their service needs to be streamlined. 3 kiosks and a cashier is overkill and everyone I saw who used the kiosk complained how complicated it was. Hard pass. read more

Faithful customer from the beginning but no longer. Total bait and switch now. What is stated on menu board is not what is included anymore, such as on a platter. Prices also mysteriously increase at the register, and when asked, the son says they´re changing everything. When asked why prices or items are not simply blacked out until they adjust the board so there are no surprises at checkout, the customer is treated in a condescending manner by the owner´s son, as if the customer is the one at fault. Sad to see customer relations so drastically changed after the father worked so hard to bring this business to town. read more

Great food but no matter what I order, they charge me extra for a "custom item" just noticed this on my receipt. I have not ordered anything but directly off the menu. One time it was 3.75. Last time was .75 yet nothing CUSTOM. And they have a sign that they charge you for using a credit card also, weird. read more
