On our way to the café, we were pleasantly surprised by a tour of Rutgers. The staff at Hidden Grounds are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They're particularly known for their chai, so my friend ordered a Rose Chai over ice, while I opted for a Hot Dirty Chai. Another friend chose the Honey Bee Latte, also over ice. The chai is amazing--it's aromatic and captures the essence of a proper chai. The Rose Chai was very good too, perfectly balanced! He told me the syrups for matcha are made in house and gave me lots of options to choose from . I chose Jasmine flavored Matcha which wasn't too sweet, but just right. Capuccino was good and hot Highlight was Jalapeño Biscuit, warmed, layered, with just the right kick Korean stuffed bun was amazing. Crisp on outside and soft on the inside.
