The Best Apple Crumb Pie on the Planet is at Maddalena's!!!…read more We initially went to Duke Farms and then later did wine tasting in Ringoes. Knowing that my favorite Maddalena's Apple Crumb Pie was originally from here, we stopped in to stock up because Gary's Wine ( North Jersey) was out of the Apple Pie. The Apple Pies here are $23.00. I purchased two. The actual shop is very small. However, you do see shipping trucks in the background. Anyway, we met a lovely woman named Kathy. She was extremely helpful. They actually have two apple pies. The one I like has the special crust. They have a variety of cheesecakes, cheesecake on a stick and cookies! In addition, they have many frozen prepared dinners like Swedish meatballs, Lobster crab ravioli, Chicken Marsala, Manicotti.... Also, Maddalena's has Keto dishes. Maddalena's does catering. You can check them out on their website.. Definitely will stop back at Maddalena's, when I am in the area :D

When we went, we placed an order from the menu found online. We waited a few minutes and then the order was brought out to us in the car. We got a cheesecake and an order of the garlic bread. Both were amazing and very tasty. Many of their cheesecakes are the ones you get from restaurants so getting them fresh is really cool. The texture is perfect and the flavor cant be beat. I highly recommend coming here and getting one of their cheesecakes. There are so many flavors, all are good, and totally worth it!

The host was really nice to me and let me set wherever I wanted since I went during the middle of the day on a working day. The interior has a very instagramable vibe. The food met my expectations as I got the layered mango crepe and the chicken Santa Fe rolls. The mango crepes were light and exactly what I expected. The chicken rolls were packed in flavor but the chicken was almost no where to be found. I would recommend this place.

Normally we're supposed to order using the QR code on the table and we would select from a pre-set list, but because we had such a complicated order, we needed to order in person and the waitress was super patient with us. We were also able to order teas we normally wouldn't have been able to using the QR code (not all the teas in the menu are available for selection for afternoon tea for some reason). Sandwiches were all delicious, scone was very nice as well. I wasn't a huge fan of their crepe cakes or macarons - very sweet without being able to tell what the flavors were. Mango smoothie and mini chocolate croissant were good though. Decor inside was simple but looks elegant, nice ambiance and appropriate for tea time!

My first review still stands since it's only been a few months and I've been back a few more times…read more Each visit was great with no complaints. My kids love going here even though they aren't adventurous with flavors. BUT I finally tried their ice cream cake. You can order online if you want specific flavors and they usually have premade ones if you just walk in. I walked in and just ordered in person. It was a Just-Because-I-Want-It cake disguised as a belated birthday cake (which it was, but I got it because I wanted to try it). I got a 6" cake with taro and milk tea flavors inside and it came with two small cones of ice cream on top (I chose soursop and red bean for those). It is not what I expected. It is almost all ice cream with a very thin whipped cream type "frosting" on the outside - and sprinkles! - that made it look like a normal cake until you cut into it. No layer of actual flour-based cake inside. It's solid ice cream. Since it's perfectly sweet, it worked great! Also excellent for those who may have a wheat allergy (unless you get the cookie flavors) so now I'm considering one for my kid with food allergies (but not to milk). And that's the update to my review. Still a stellar place to get ice cream.

The owner is soooo sweet It's next to some of my favorite Asian food spots so it's a great place to end a meal with friends or to have a date night The only thing I don't love is it's not a picturesque location on route one and minimal seating but that doesn't stop me from coming here!

This dessert shop offers authentic Taiwanese treats featuring grass jelly, tofu pudding, taro mochi balls, red bean soup, and the aforementioned shaved ice, along with egg waffles, various teas and other beverages. The limited edition summer osmanthus series caught my eye, so I went for an osmanthus milk shaved ice, infused with condensed sweetened milk and osmanthus syrup, a cloud of almond tofu pudding on top, with mochi balls, red beans, and lychee jelly tucked around the base. The flavor of the cool fluffy shaved ice is subtly sweet, lightly creamy, with just a hint of floral, and the snow melts on your tongue. The osmanthus flavor is not very strong or fragrant, however, though I've never had successful encounters with commercial osmanthus-flavored things outside of Asia, as it's a very distinctive and delicate taste that's also one of my favorite scents and culinary condiments, so I'm very particular about its faithfulness. We ordered a large since it's only $1 more than the medium, so practically begs one to order the oversized version, which is enough for 2+ people to share. But why so enormous? How about offering a personal sized one for a little less? Premium as the ingredients are, $18 feels like a lot for shaved ice. Between us two adults and one small child we couldn't finish it, but I double dog dare you to try. It was good though, and satiated my craving for a proper milk snow dessert.
