Got fried chicken and hotdogs the Chicken was fresh I loved that because that is rare in a fried chicken spot. The lemonade was soooo good.

My husband and I shared the Chicago cut steak along with a house salad and a yummy potato. His colleague had the sweet potato and filet mignon. Shout out to the Gibson staff for their excellent customer service and props to the chef for their service and dedication to their steak cooking skills! Another warm shout out to our server, Millie! She was the best! So fun, kind, incredibly accommodating. Great experience overall! The ambiance was a hustle and bustle on a Wednesday evening. I think it is because there was a conference in town. But it gave a great first Chicago vibe/impression. Would love to come back again!

For a good 40 minutes in the bar, it was an absolute sausage fest. The only other females were those working, so it was a little uncomfortable. This is a manly place in general. A loud obnoxious table of meatheads was behind us at dinner but the steak was truly the best I've ever had so one must endure. I had the filet with peppercorn and our shared sides and apps sampled were crab cakes, mashed potatoes, double baked potatoes, and brussel sprouts. All stellar. We all split the famous macadamia nut turtle pie which easily served 8 people. Amazing meal but would be nice to throw a little estrogen in with the testosterone overload. Service was unparalleled as well. Thank you for a memorable evening.

I grabbed a seat at the bar and waited about 10 minutes before the hostess came over. She politely let me know I needed to remove my hat or leave, even though I was tucked away in the corner. No big deal--I took it off... besides the inevitable hat hair! I was hoping to enjoy a glass of Moët or Dom Pérignon, but they don't offer either by the glass or in splits. The bartender recommended their Cava, and even let me sample it, which I appreciated. The only downside was the tasting glass had just come out of the dishwasher and was still warm, which took away from the experience. I ended up ordering the Cava, and it was a pleasant choice. The bartender recommended the Ahi Tuna Tartare, and it was easily the highlight of the meal. Beautiful presentation with vibrant colors, fresh ahi tuna, creamy avocado, sweet mango, and crispy wonton chips. Every bite was fresh, balanced, and packed with flavor. I would absolutely order it again. For my entrée, I ordered the Red King Crab Legs (half pound) for $88, served with garlic butter and garlic mashed potatoes. The crab itself was very good, but the plate leaned a little too heavily on the garlic for my taste. I asked for regular melted butter instead, and while the bartender happily brought it out, it unfortunately arrived cold. Between the cold butter and all the garlic, I didn't end up finishing the dish. The live piano music was a wonderful touch. She was incredibly talented and added to the upscale atmosphere throughout the evening. The service wasn't the best, but it was solid. There were a few small misses throughout the meal, but nothing that completely ruined the experience. I've been fortunate enough to enjoy seafood all over the country, and while Truluck's is a quality restaurant, I'd still rank Joe's Stone Crab in Chicago, Mama's Fish House in Paia, Hawaii, 555 East Steakhouse in Long Beach, and Swan Oyster Depot in San Francisco ahead of it. Overall, it was an okay dining experience. Nothing was bad, but nothing truly stood out enough to make me want to come back. I'm glad I gave it a try, but based on my personal experience, it just didn't live up to the expectations I had for the price point. 4 out of 5 stars. #TheFoodie99

I asked for a happy hour menu, which was more annoying. It took her about 15 minutes to ask what I wanted to drink, bar top only had a few other guest at it. I ordered 2 items, a chicken slider and pizza, she said we are out of the pizza and walked away. No "would you like something else" or even a chance for me to order something different. I was going to order more food but her attitude was off putting and made me feel like I shouldn't be there. I did order some food togo for the person I was getting at the airport, but this was me having to flag her down to order. I was going to go somewhere else initially near the airport but opted for here since my family and I love Rosebuds in Naperville. Definitely not the same level of service and would discourage anyone to not sit at the bar.

Service was excellent and the food selection was perfect for those that are vegetarian or meat lovers. A few things to pass: 1. Parking. Park is the hotels' parking lot, take a ticket and drive up to the 4th to 11th level. Bring your ticket with you and the restaurant will validate it after you've eaten. 2. Order an appetiser to share and consider one of their whiskeys. It's a nice selection, they had a bottle of Bookers while I was there. I had the double bean burgers d it was excellent. I also had an order of the truffle fries. Liked them here because they were not soaked in truffle oil lije I've had elsewhere before. Big restaurant so even with a nice size party you don't likely need a reservation. Even though we were tempted to go to Capital Grill, right next door, this was a very good choice!!

I had French onion, soup, scallops, and ice cream. The French onion soup was good, although it wasn't quite as traditional as I expected with cheese across the entire crock, but it did have cheese on a slice of bread on top of the French onion soup and overall I thought it was tasty. I had the appetizer scallops as my main course. There were just two scallops. I thought they were solidly very good, but nothing made them stand out. Because I just had the scallops for my main course, I still felt a little hungry and so I decided to go to the ice cream. It was fine. It's ice cream like you buy at any grocery store, maybe slightly crystalized/icy but overall it was about as he would expect nothing exceptional. It was enjoyable, a bit pricey but of course it's in a hotel and at an airport so probably within those expectations. It was fine.

I had a layover that turned into an overnight due to weather, and I wasnt feeling Italian, so this was the other choice within the actual hotel. The other option was to walk all the way back to the airport through the underground tunnels. I had looked at the menu before coming so I had an idea what they offered. Of course my colleague tried to order the T-bone which is what I had originally wanted....when he ordered first but they had just sold out....right before us. My 2nd choice was the filet since I had eaten a ribeye 2 of the last 3 days, so I needed variety. I added sautéed baby spinach, iced tea and a cheesecake. The steak was decent....but not prime. The spinach was plentiful and good. The cheesecake was really good, but a very thin slice. My colleagues bone-in ribeye was supposedly good. Our only issues were the foul smelling lemon slices on the iced tea, the overly worn carpet, and the slow service as they had only 2 waitresses working that night.
