I was looking forward to checking this place out. What a mess. Things are piled everywhere. Couldn't get down most aisles because things just heaped on the floor, several feet high. Like a fire code violation waiting to happen. Then I realized why so many things were piled everywhere - because the prices were insane, more of a storage facility than any serious attempt at selling. I like this place and the lady owner but the husband never smiles or is friendly and doesn't seem very interested in helping. I hate to write less than a stellar review for a place I basically like but one has to consider the whole experience. The lady owner has always been friendly and helpful. Some of the merchandise is very reasonable, other items are a bit higher than I might like, but I'm in the habit of hitting local thrift shops on their half off days so that affects my outlook. I was looking at an Ergo front carrier infant insert which was priced at $21.50 and the lady said were $50 new, but had seen new ones at Target for $25. I'll have to go back and look again to be sure if it is the same model, the "premium" I think it was called. We looked online and didn't see any new ones as high as $50. They seemed to run $15 average for used ones on eBay and Amazon. The store recently moved to a different storefront a few doors down in the same center where they have LOTS more space! It's a lot easier to walk around and see things now. As far as condition, I didn't see anything that wasn't in really good shape, not that I looked at everything but what I did see was nice. This is absolutely my favorite children's resale store the prices are fantastic. I'm able to get such a great deal for my little guy which is helpful because with kids clothes they only wear it once or twice before they outgrow it. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable of their products. They let you test out the toys in store to make sure everything is in working condition. All clothes are washed before they are put out for sale.They are beyond fair on trade a value. read more

I love giving a good 5 star review, and this one is well deserved. I have been here once before and although it's a little crowded I walked out with SO MANY clothes for SO LITTLE that is well worth the "bargain hunt". So I went in today specifically looking for a t shirt that said 'big brother' on it. I asked the woman working if she knew of anything and expected her to say no way, because there is so much there, how could you possibly have the inventory memorized?? But she did! She knew there was a little outfit but I was in a hurry so she took down my phone number as I left. Within an hour she had found multiple t shirts that fit what I was looking for! I heard about this place from a friend so I wanted to check it out. It's crammed with stuff, but literally crammed. The place has all the charm & smells of a Goodwill with the prices of a Target. Actually, they had a pair of used Carter's pants (just the plain sweats) for $7.50. I can buy a PAIR of NEW pants like that at Target for $8.99... & I did. I definitely won't be going back to this place. read more

I first started going to Baby Bargains about twenty years ago with excitement of becoming a grandma! Through the years (and additional grandchildren! ) I've purchased and traded many times.I have found the owner to always be friendly and helpful. Not only do i love the personal touch of small family ran business but knowing the kind heart of the owner that donates clothing to charitable groups for children. The store had a decent selection, but honestly the majority of items I saw were pretty dirty. The biggest issue was the lack of service by the guy working there and he seemed less than interested in answering my questions about prices because many things did not have tags on them. The prices for everything I looked at from a 12 month old jacket (no name brand) 14 bucks! , a little wooden sink and stove (not great quality) 89.50 each!!, and a Thomas ride on toy 200 bucks!, everything was grossly over priced and I don't understand how they keep the doors open with those prices. I was excited that I got a baby toy for my 3 month old that looked gently used for a price that I though was reasonable. I should've done some homework before going to this store. I came home to research the product I purchased ONLY to find that I paid 50 cents more in the consingment than I would've paid at Wal-Mart BRAND NEW. I'm very disappointed. You don't sell gently used items for more than you would pay brand new. I will NOT be shopping at this store again! read more
