Baby Go Round has *the best* selection of baby/kid products in New England. If it's there, you know it's great. The owners and employees are so well-versed in each item and can tell you, in detail, why it was made/the purpose it serves, etc. The toys are always favorites, the gifts are always incredible (they even wrap them!), the gear is top-notch, the CLOTHING is just absolutely amazing, and the prices are PHENOMENAL... but with all of that, the customer service is still the shining star. For furniture, they communicate timelines regularly, are SO CLEAR in setting expectations, and incredibly helpful in checking in on ship times. I've bought 2 sets of nursery furniture from them, the quality is excellent, and communication was stellar (one piece was potentially going to be delayed (which they told me in the ship quote) and they let me know every step of the way what was happening (it ended up being on time). Baby Go Round has a very nice show room and everyone who works there is clearly very informed about the products they sell. They also have probably one of the bigger selections in the State. This is the only reason I am giving them 2 stars instead of 1. Once they had my money (and a lot of it!) the customer service took a disturbing nose dive. My mom and I went shopping for a crib set about 10 weeks before my due date. There were two crib sets I liked, one I loved and the one I ordered. Why didn't I order the one I loved? They told me it would take 10 weeks to ship and I just didn't want to cut it that close, I like most first time mom's wanted the nursery to be ready and perfect for the babies arrival. The one I ordered? I was told 8 weeks. Right around 7 weeks after I ordered it I called them to follow up and find out when it would arrive and when we could pick up the furniture. It wasn't until I CALLED THEM that I found out that the shipment would be late and wouldn't arrive until a week after my due date, or 11 weeks after I ordered it. The woman on the phone insisted it wasn't their fault and that I had been quoted 8-10 weeks (I wasn't) and so it really wasn't that late. Late another woman called me and offered me their floor model dresser without a discount- which frankly was a little insulting. I was never offered any sort of refund, discount, free delivery- nothing! I called them again to find out the status of my order a week before the new delivery date. They knew nothing and promised to call back. I have yet to receive a call back and am tempted to call my credit card company and get a full refund. read more

So happy with the customer service! I bought a wonderful convertible crib here and when I had issues with a part breaking (over a year after purchase) the staff at BGR did everything to contact the manufacturer and get me the replacement part (that was covered under warranty!) The store is fun to shop around for functional and fun baby items- a great place to buy all the essentials plus a fun little something extra. I highly recommend shopping here! read more

I can't believe it took my to have my second child to find this boutique. The staff members are all extremely friendly and informative. I have been many times trying to find the perfect stroller and car seat for my little one and not only do the have the best and safest products in stock but they have them on display, which is amazing because you really need to test out a product before purchasing and the fact that this boutique has the high end elite products that you cannot find else where other than online is incredible. Between the friendly customer service and the fact that they genuinely know and care about all the products they sell is the reason why I will be purchasing all future baby items here and telling everyone I know about this amazing store! Lots of people say this store is great, so we decided to buy our crib for baby #2 here. In the store they were personable, helped us find a crib with conversion bed rails that would meet our needs (3 positions, basically a convertible crib, eco-friendly without MDF) on their computer in the store and ordered it for us as they did not have a display model. It arrived ahead of schedule, but the delivery people did not assemble it (Baby furniture warehouse does for a similar delivery charge). They also screwed up the order and ordered the wrong conversion kit, They told us they would order the correct conversion rails and deliver it to us later. They made a halfhearted attempt once (will you be home tomorrow at noon?), that didn't work, and months later, they never followed up. Also, hours are inconvenient for people who work (closed at 5 most days as well as Sundays and holidays). I would recommend shopping elsewhere for your crib. read more
