I e been coming here for years and it was hard to believe my I wrote my last review 2 years ago. I commend them for their consistently great food, customer service, prices which I don't think have increased for a few years, cleanliness and overall commitment to good health. They are always friendly and accommodating no matter how busy they are. They have a great selection of salads, wraps, smoothies, shakes, all healthy choices. They have soups, oatmeal, Açaí bowls, parfaits, frozen toughest, all natural drinks, chips and healthy snacks. There is a small area for about 3 people to sit on bar stools at a window counter and in the warmer weather they have an outside table to sit. They are located outside a park so it's a nice view and somewhere to take you children or significant other. They do deliver so if you're not into coming out it's quick and easy. I highly recommend them and I am confident you will like their food and customer service.

We ordered take- out for lunch and we were very disappointed with their service! We ordered wraps with chicken and there was barely any chicken in the wrap. We literally took the chicken out and counted the pieces and there were only 5 small pieces. They also made us a salad instead of a wrap that had no dressing. We were very disappointed with our lunch.

Baby Spinach Wrap with turkey bacon, pepper jack cheese, apples, black olives with a lemon poppy seed vinaigrette

This review is for delivery only: I needed a healthy snack before volunteering tonight for election and decided on a healthy wrap. Baby Olive turned up on my Yelp search results and I decided to order from them. Their menu has a nice selection of wraps, salads, açaí bowls, soup, smoothies, juices and frozen yogurt. One can choose to build your own wrap or salad or choose from BO's own options. I decided to build my own wrap: baby spinach, turkey bacon, pepper-Jack cheese, black olives and apples dressed with a lemony poppy dressing. There are other protein add ons such as grilled chicken, avocado, etc.; extra toppings can start from fifty cents to three dollars. I also ordered kids size vanilla frozen yogurt with pineapples. The delivery was prompt and courteous. Now for the deets: Baby Spinach wrap: generous portion, fresh and delicious. The wrap was packed with all above ingredients and the highlights were the crisp turkey bacon and the lemon poppy dressing. I love lemon dressing and this one was light and extremely tasty. Vanilla Frozen Yogurt with pineapple: disappointed on the size ( extra extra small plastic container for $2.50). It didn't travel well: I put it in the freezer immediately but it became soupy. However, the little amount I could salvage tasted delicious. The next time I order it, I will delete adding the pineapple chunks. The pineapple tasted frozen, I wish it was the yogurt that was frozen and the pineapple should have been packaged on the side. I will have to put copious notes to package the yogurt in a freezer intensive cup. I didn't take a pic due to the soupy like content. All in all a very satisfying and healthy meal. I will be ordering from Baby Olive again.

Ordered delivery from ubereats here! They were very quick, I got a custom salad with steak. Steak was not high quality meat but was flavorful and seasoned. I got the cilantro lime dressing and it was so good. I added some avocado I had at home and it was a nice filling dinner.

So yummy and fresh!!!!

When you're someone who generally dislikes greens and vegetables but you have to lose some weight before a vacation, you find yourself in a proverbial pickle... no pun intended. That's the conundrum I found myself grappling with today when I realized I have to eat healthy to look good on vacation next week but I really don't like salad. Enter Baby Olive, who prepared the salad of my dreams today (the baby power house salad with pesto dressing). I have no words. Really, I'm speechless. It was just too good to adequately describe. Suffice it to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this salad and I even loved the tomatoes, which I'm usually not a fan of because they tend to be weepy and soggy. Definitely going to be reordering from here for the next week before my trip to Hawaii.

Baby Power House and Oz Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

This place is a Gem! Went in for my first time ehile working in the area. Let me tell you the choices all look amazing! I had the power wrap w cilantro lime dressing soooo good! I also had the peanut butter and banana smoothie just cause today I was a bit hungrier. It was also delicious. I give this place a 10 out of 10! Prices are a bit pricey but hey you get what you paid for and is alot!

What's crazy is I pass this place every day and never saw it. If it wasn't for Yelp I would not have known that it existed. Now I'm obsessed. The mango smoothie is amazing! My boyfriend gets the banana peanut butter one and he loves it. The salads are sooo fresh and the dressings - you can't go wrong with any of them. I mix and match all the time. I would say to trust the ones that are recommended and if another one interests you just order it additionally. The staff there is also very kind whether you deliver or walk in. Can't go wrong with this spot .

Baby Caesar

I ordered a baby chicken Cesar salad. My biggest issue about this order is that ALL of the lettuce is yellow and was the bottom of the lettuce stalk. This is the worst salad I've ever ordered. I spoke to Baby Olive and they assured me that they received a case where all the salad is yellow. Apparently "customers have been asking for it". I wasn't born yesterday. Also, I asked for extra chicken and didn't receive that either. To pay almost $20 for a salad that's barely edible, I will not be ordering from them again. Very disappointed.

This is Skim milk ,Kale ,banana ,strawberry ,peanut butter n oats . -_- I wouldn't think this is okay to make for someone

Not a bad place at all food and fruit is fresh. Just recommend that you go to the actual place and order so you know it's right . Only con I have is when I order I usually put a note in the order on how I prefer my smoothie . All the note stated was not thick and not soupy and clearly they didn't care. I won't order a smoothie again. Wrap was pretty good.

HOMEMADE SALAD DRESSING, that is Ah-mazing! Now that, that is out of the way...I have been to baby Olive many times. I usually create my own salad but I have tried their baby powerhouse and it is very good. Their salads are fresh and they have many toppings to choose from, but I wish they had more options. For example they do have chicken and steak, But unlike sweet green they do not have grilled mushrooms as a supplement for vegetarians! They do have goat cheese, feta cheese, mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese. I also enjoy the fact that they make all their dressing in house. There have been multiple instances where they have poured the dressing on to my salad fresh from The blender. The staff is very nice and kind in making suggestions as to which dressing works with which salad. They also have a large selection of smoothies to choose from. My favorite smoothie is the avocado shake, but I leave out the spinach because I believe that the shake comes out with a creamy or texture and Tastes absolutely amazing without it. I highly recommend the avocado shake or the mango shake. Parking is a bitch it is very hard to park and in front of the store it is a no standing zone. Salads will run you anywhere between seven to $11 and shakes are six dollars I will continue to be a customer as the ingredients are fresh and staff is friendly...prices are reasonable.

My new favorite restaurant…read more The food was good, fresh, presumably well-sourced based on taste, and a very fair value. The restaurant is not overly expensive -- the $65.00 lunch bill below suggests a high-end selection and/or apps. I had a pineapple mint lemonade, sea bass on saffron risotto, a lovely salad topped with potato gnocchi, and cake dessert for $85 inclusive of 20% tip and tax. Nearly everything tasted fresh and homemade. Worth it. If this were served in Restaurant Row, the bill would be $40 more and the food not nearly as good. Because Beets & Carrots offers something rare and startlingly somehow in decline: food that tastes like food the body happily accepts as such. They serve meals that stand out simply because they taste like food. It was nice to dine outside the home feeling confident no digestive issues, lethargy, brain fog, bloating, etc were around the corner. You can tell that someone health conscious who cares about how ingredients show up in the meal is in the kitchen, someone who thinks food is both very fun and very serious. Least favorite: The lemonade. Mostly personal preference here, as I prefer a much tarter, less watery lemonade with higher lemon:water volume ratio. But I think most people would like it; I would get it again. Favorite: Both the entree and salad (which surprised me with a deliciously simple horseradish dressing) were great, but the bass wins in my book. Skin crisped to perfection...very flavorful fish and a great cut...creamy, perfect risotto. I appreciated that the risotto wasn't too salty as well.

The place is small but clean and well kept. There are tv screens on the wall behind the register with the menu but they have menus on their tables too. The service was a little slow, but it did not take away from my first encounter and the quality of the food. I opted for the A1 Signature Poke with salmon, tuna and shrimp and my kiddo did a Create Your Own poke bowl. We were waiting for another order for my younger boys so we ate our bowls in the car. The cuts of fish in my bowl were great, tasted fresh and so good. I was a little iffy on the mango but trusted the process and I was pleasantly surprised at how well the mango chunks paired with everything else. The portions were generous and there was enough sauce for all the components. We even got 2 drinks to go, on the house which I thought was such a sweet gesture since it was pretty warm outside. Already wanting another poke bowl as I write this. I can't wait to be back. Highly recommend.

I didn't experience any attitude or rudeness from any of the staff which was good. My only complaint is that she didn't write down our order which in turn got our food all wrong. I ordered the burger well done, my chick ordered hers medium. Well I ended up with the medium and she got the well done. We wanted cheddar cheese, well we both got swiss. We wanted truffle fries and we both ended up with regular fries. So yeah this pretty much goes down to not writing exactly what we wanted and us getting whatever food they felt like giving us. I would recommend next time to please write down customers orders so that the paying customer gets exactly what he's paying for. I will say again the food was very good but they screwed up the orders. Will I go back, I don't know but I hope in future they write orders down so this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Home is where the heart is and there is nothing quite like a home cooked meal. I have to say most Bay Ridgians enjoy dining local and in our neighborhood. I love to support neighborhood gems because majority of restaurant owners here, love their clients, establish loyalty through cooking delicious food and provide consistent great customer service. I was in the mood for a " comfort food"breakfast, you know, eggs, avocado, mozzarella, tomato, deliciousness and I found it on the menu simply named "Breakfast Sandwich". Which consists of voila: Mozzarella, avocado, tomato jam, arugula, crispy bacon, dijonaise, sunny side up egg between multigrain toasts. I ordered this sans the bacon ( requested turkey bacon which they do not have). What arrived in my plate was this decadent open faced egg sandwich that looked delectable.. and was!! Let's first talk about the wheat toast: I tasted it naked and it simply melted in my mouth. The ingredients worked well together, perfect synchronicity. I used one half of the toast to sop up any fallen ingredients. Highly recommend! For a drink, I wanted something a bit different, thus, ordered the Mango Mint Peach tea, fruity with a hint of mint. Loved it and went well with the Sammy! There are lovely options besides breakfast sandwiches like quinoa, oatmeal, granola, pancakes, French toast.. breakfast is served all day and lunch is served @noon. I arrived before 12 and was told I can order breakfast or lunch. It has a cozy, intimate vibe which I love.. one where you can dine solo, or do work or read or just enjoy the fabulous food. I will make "The Common" my home away from home. Additionally, there are cooking classes in their Park Slope location; the courses look great: Italian feast, Moroccan cooking, Wine Pairing and many more. Check out their website for more info. We ordered the chicken liver mousse, crispy potato tart, and burger. The chicken liver mousse is a must order and something I get every time I come here, whether it is this location or the Park Slope one. The mousse itself is rich, creamy, savory, and packed with umami. I just wish it came with something better on the side. The pita was a little underwhelming and was not warmed all the way through. The crispy potato tart was excellent. The potato was super crispy, and a bite with the salmon, egg, sour cream, and potato together was perfect. The lightly dressed arugula helped cut through the richness and made for a nice palate cleanser. The burger looked pretty simple when it arrived, but it ended up being surprisingly good. The patty was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Overall, a great neighborhood spot and one I would happily come back to.
