Out of all the automotive shops I can say Babylon auto has my 100% trust. This shop is not a place where it's bombarded by tons of cars it has a homey feeling and it's good because the mechanic can really pay more attention to the cars that they work on as if you were to take it to a big name place you might not get the quality if service the car really needs ! The owner Mohammed is a very nice , up front , understanding and honest person . He helps with what ever he can his prices are very fair and doesn't rip you off like many shops I have dealt with before . Recently I had a couple issues with two of my cars . A bad radiator on my 2009 Nissan Moreno . I also had him fix my ac on my 1996 Ford Explorer . Mohammed had my Nissan throughly checked at no extra charge and did inform me that there were other issues going on . The price he gave me to fix my Nissan is was a very good deal I couldn't pass up . He showed me the bad parts when they were changed out and saved me some money by not having me replace my battery one other issue I was having was a bad alternator . I thought my battery was done but after his talented Mechanic changed out the part the battery was charging do it for capacity. I appreciate him not trying to upsell me on something I didn't need I got the car back and a timely manner. He had the car waiting for me when I arrived . He even tried to fix some other issues at no extra charge . Now that is customer service . Honestly the best auto repair shop I've been to, after they finish whatever you want them to fix. Unlike other auto repair shops, they actually walk you through your vehicle and show you what else needs to be fixed,while other places tell you but not show you. Took my niece's 2016 MBz GLC to Babylon for oil change and brake inspection. Moe was honest by telling us her car still has 80% brakes. Moe recommended cleaning the brakes to eliminate the noise from the braking actions. Moe is a honest and competent mechanic. I have always owned older cars that have constantly needed various repairs, and I must say that this is by far the best place I have ever been to. I ended up needing an engine for my 2004 BMW, and was very unsure of whether it would be worth the investment. Thankfully Mo was there to help assure me that no matter how long it took we would find a good used engine (at a fair price)! that would last me years to come.. He patiently let me keep my car there until indeed he did find the perfect engine for my car!! And most importantly that he did NOT over charge for. I took my '99 Camry in for a brake overhaul. The brakes were in bad shape, they should have been replaced a long time ago, so when they got back to me with the revised estimate it was no surprise that it need new rotors and the drums cleaned up (in addition to new pads/shoes). The price was good value for the amount of work/parts and it they finished the work quickly. It's been 3 months and I have had no issues, the brakes are working the same as the day I picked it up from the shop. The people are friendly and customer oriented. They described the work they did, and showed me all the old parts that they replaced and, the replacement parts. They even fixed the squeaky steering wheel! Thanks Babylon! read more

I found Babylon Auto on-line when looking for a shop to do a pre-purchase inspection on a used car. No one picked up when I initially called as it was a Saturday and I was finding most places closed. However, Moe must have seen call and, even though I didn't leave a message, he called me back and said he could check the car. It's a good thing too as he found all kinds of problems. He walked me under the car and showed me some of what he had found. He knew I was disappointed and suggested a used car lot that he trusted and offered a discount if I wanted to bring him another car to check. I took him up on it the next day and again he and his mechanics did a complete inspection and found issues with another car--this one from a new car dealership! I needed a new transmission after the old one took a dump. I called a few places around and they were asking for too much and the turn around time was almost a week long. As a last resort, I decided to try my luck on Craigslist and ended up finding their post. At first I was a little hesitant because transmissions aren't something cheap and all the horror stories you hear from Craigslist, I was a little worried about the worst possible scenario happening. However, my experience with Babylon Auto was the complete opposite. Having been ripped off before from other shops, I had my guard up when I first visited the shop. But after talking with the owner and the staff, they definitely proved that there are still honest shops which is super rare. My whole experience was great, can't say enough good things about this shop. They were professional and courteous, the price that was quoted ended up being the same price when everything was finished, they delivered on the promised finish time which was only 1 day! They even arranged for my truck to be towed from San Jose so I wouldn't have to wait on AAA to show up. I also had a power steering leak and asked them to check it out, I was ready to pay for a replacement hose or anything else that was causing the leak. Turned out a hose was just loose and needed to be tightened. They fixed it and topped off the power steering fluid. Any other shop would have made up some bs to make an unnecessary replacement.
