This is the second time I have stopped in there unannounced and asked them to check my tires because my tire pressure warning light came on. Update: Took vehicle to be double-checked. Skid plate was missing a screw/bolt and the hole was stripped. Horrible experience. Passed over for service to 3 customers after me who were finished and left. 50 minutes to get oil change and last vehicle to be done. Crew member was vaping and scrolling on his phone when I looked into the bay. When asked if there was something wrong with the vehicle the idly standing technician yelled back "we are just putting on the skid plate, unless you don't want it." Incredibly rude tone and treatment. Was going to charge full price and I mentioned coupon. Then he said $21 but he'd "give $30" off since waited so long. The sign in front of the Jiffy Lube advertised $30 off! One Asian man who could not speak English but used Google translate was left standing outside until he finally drove off with no service. I don't know why people are giving bad reviews. I've been here many times over the years for car services and they always do a good job. The staff are professional and never pushy about extra services. During Covid they are extra careful wearing masks and distancing. The indoor seating area is distanced and they don't even get in your car. They do everything possible outside or have you do it. You can wait outside or stay in your car. I got an oil change several months ago from this location and it was a mistake. On the night I got my oil changed and had my car returned to me, they had forgotten to bolt down a panel under my car that they had undone, so it was scraping against the street when I drove it. I returned the next day, and they said that the bolt keeping it together had been lost. They replaced it with a zip-tie. This was not a problem my car had before going to this location. Not only that, but while I was waiting for my car to get serviced, one of the employees remarked that one of the other employees was a "r*****". With how quick a fix it was, I'm truly unsurprised that it has come undone now, but not only that, I'm actually able to see how much damage has been done. The front bottom panel is in shambles. Took my truck in for an oil change. As it was being serviced they presented the several air filters recommending exchange, I declined. Then I was told one of my two batteries were defective and required replacement, I responded saying they both had been replaced just a few weeks ago and I did not believe their assessment. I asked for a copy of the inspection report. I had to return within minutes as it was not given to me. This inspection report, under section "for immediate attention " did not state the battery was defective, it stated "make sure you can count on your battery when you need it most." I'm convinced this was a scam, that they hoped I was a dupe and would have authorized unnecessary work. I have four vehicles and would use this Jiffy Lube for most oil changes; never again I did have both batteries checked at a different shop, they are both still good read more

I don't usually post bad reviews, but this was really disappointing. I've been going to Jiffy Lube for my oil changes for as long as I've been driving. This time around, I came to this location and the oil change went fine, but heading home I heard a slight scraping sound. I got home and discovered that they had forgotten to completely reattach my engine splash shield and it had come loose. VERY dangerous! I attempted to take it off before coming in to have them reattach it, and found that they had also broken one of the screws that keeps it in place and another of the screws had been jammed in and the bolt had been stripped. I had to break it off in order to remove the splash shield before coming back to let them fix their mistake. Currently sitting in the waiting room to see how this will be dealt with. I'll update later Update: they reattached the splash shield, then told me that my next oil change would be free. Umm. No thanks. Why would I want to come back after this experience!! They then offered a refund on my oil change, which I accepted. They told me it would take up to three weeks to send me a check and couldn't just refund the money onto my card because it was "their policy" they were very nice about it and my check eventually arrived but I definitely will NOT be coming back to this location! read more

Ok so I use CarAdvise and it's always a struggle to get that sorted out at the counter at any establishment I go to. I went to this Jiffy Lube 3 months ago and it was a success, took a bit to get it sorted with my payment but it worked out. This time, I had to go three times... the first two times the guys there said they could t help me, their manager wasn't there and they didn't know how to do it. So I left both times a bit frustrated. They told me when the manager would be in, I called the day I was planning to go in to ensure she was there. Let me tell you, Jessica redeemed this place 100%. Went to this location for an oil change. The last time I was at this one was back in March of 2018. It was a hundred times better this time around!! Not only did they change the oil but they topped off all my fluids, cleaned my windows, checked my tire pressure and even checked to see that all my lights were working. I came to this Jiffy Lube after the Meineke down the road failed to accommodate the appointment I made using their website system. Luckily this Jiffy Lube was down the street and took me right away. Considering that we are dealing with this covid pandemic situation, I was pleasantly surprised that I was given the option to stay in the car while the oil change was performed. The tech that helped me this day (4/17/2020) from around 8:30am to 9am (he was the only on there) was polite, respectful, straightforward professionally, and asked the usual (if I want filters changed/tire rotation, etc), but it didn't feel like a hard or pressured upsell. Definitely enjoyed the interaction with the tech and I'm very happy I came to Jiffy Lube. It was a smooth transaction. I even Got $20 off, which was nice. Having a groupon for Meineke, I chose to come here instead of go back to that Meineke where trust was lost because of their negligence (If you're interested in my Meineke review , it's the one on El Camino Real in Santa Clara, CA). I recommend this Jiffy Lube based solely on my experience with this one technician (wish I got his name). Ryan exemplifies what outstanding customer service should look like. He helped me to triage services for my vehicle - after taking the time to understand what my goals for my vehicle are longterm (some people want to optomize to eventually sell vs. driving it until it dies). He also kindly addressed all my concerns without making me feel ignorant for questions that I'm sure were pretty simple (I'm by no means a mechanic). Additionally, he saved me money by redirecting me to services that were actually needed for the health of my vehicle rather than what i THOUGHT was needed. My last oil chasing was Jiffylube on the El Camino in Santa Clara, I paid for a new air filter just to discover that they never replaced it but charged me for it, what crooks. If you notice the filter that was removed today was an original Ford Air Filter, Jiffylube sell aftermarket air filters only. Not to mention I had to top the oil off my self. I would be very careful with this place when you get your oil change. You have John one of the supervisors here saying that the oil plug screw was on too tight from the previous oil change then stripping your oil plug screw when removing it. Then jiffy lube has the nerve to say it was not their fault and still proceeds to do the oil change and let you know that there will be leakage. Wow great customer thanks for sending me on my way to go get it fixed and making me have to pay more money for a new oil plug and oil pan and a new oil change. I want to like this shop. But honestly, it is hard to do so. It happens to be right across the street from my work. So it is convenient. However, my latest visit was an issue. I ordered a tire rotation with an oil change. I marked my tire because I don't trust automatically that people either do their best job, or they just don't care, or if there is an oversight. Sure enough, the marked tire remained in the same exact spot. I talked with Ryan, the manager there. He seems like a nice enough guy. He rotated the right side of my vehicle, he says. And left the other side to another tech apparently. He says its an honest mistake and maybe so. But I want him to know it made me late back to work because I had to wait while they fixed it again after I had already driven off. Also, it appears that they are not completely up-to-date on how to rotate the tires for this vehicle, since they say they were going to X them. This is not the right way because they should be rotated front to back only. A quick google on Nissan 2017 states this and is what I remember from the dealer. I understand that mistakes sometimes happen. But it makes me wonder if I should even go back. Past problems have been never vacuum the inside even though it comes with the service. I asked this time about that and I did get it which is an improvement. I think that you need to be very specific with them if you want to get what you pay for. read more
