Do not trust this shop. The owner uses aggressive "hostage" tactics to force payment for unauthorized work that violates California Business and Professions Code § 9884.9. ​I was hit with surprise charges for work I never agreed to, and the owner refused to release my vehicle unless I paid cash immediately. When I questioned the bill, he became hostile, threatened me with $150/day in illegal storage fees, and even called the police to intimidate me. ​I have filed a formal complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) and the Santa Clara County District Attorney. This is very poor customer service, and I feel like I've been cheated. I chose this place because my business is nearby. I came in and explained that I didn't know why my car wouldn't start, yet they didn't even attempt to turn it on to check. They immediately recommended replacing the battery for $300, but even after the replacement, the car still doesn't work. ----------- They replaced my battery and told me there was nothing wrong with it, but I still had to pay for the new battery. When I came in to pay, they said they didn't accept cards -- only Venmo or Zelle. So I sent a Zelle payment just to get my key back and take my car to another auto shop. I asked if I could take my old battery home since they said the battery was not the problem. The owner said no. He also told me that he knows where my business is, and if I don't remove my review, he will ask his wife, his daughter, and his cousins to leave 20 bad reviews for my business. And these are his family members leaving reviews without ever coming to my business. I'm sharing my true experience here so future customers understand how they conduct business and treat people. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for an honest high quality experience. I reached out to the owner after my sister had gotten her car repaired there. I brought in my Jeep, it had a transmission leak that three other mechanics "fixed" and every time the leak would return, it had been sitting for over a year and received little maintenance, as I expected there would be some other problems due to rust and corrosion. It took some time for him to identify the root cause-- he was very thorough with the inspection and diagnostics. There was quite a bit of work needed to get it back running in good condition and he was able to find a faulty sensor that had been overlooked by three other mechanics. He was very upfront about all of the work it needed and the costs (around 4K) he reassured me that all of their work is guaranteed. For parts and high quality labor, this feels like a good price. As a woman I really appreciate his communication and respectful demeanor, the customer service is top tier. read more

Horrible Business. Overcharged for radiator replacement and never fixed coolant leak. Quality was less than mediocre for the services requested. Ask, still managed for charge me $5k+ for issues that still exist on my vehicle. I wouldn't take my car, or any car here after this horrid experience. Furthermore, when I reached out about issues, owner said he would be happy to fix problem.... Never received a response from him after that smh. I took my car there on a Sunday right after I had the transmission fluid changed at another shop and it was making noise. I've had my transmission pan replaced on my Lexus 350. After that I received many texts asking if there's anything else they can do for me. I sent a friend over to get an estimate on her 2011 Camry 100k maintenance. Fernando told her to come in & he'd take a look. He quoted her end of day 3k! And locked her car up so she couldn't pick it up. She couldn't afford the 3k upfront. He then told her it would be $200 to get the car! Did not tell her or make her aware of any fee when she just asked how much for the maintenance. Outright fraud. I could tell you what a ridiculous lying scumbag Fernando is, but there is no need when you can look at the photographic evidence for yourself. The receipt plainly shows TWO parts and labor for BOTH sides, but only did ONE. Straight up fraud. Not only did this crook not replace the part or do the labor, the old part is MISSING from the car. When I took it back, Fernando came up with a lie about how the sway bar is bent so the link could not be installed. Um, okay liar, then why did you charge for TWO in the first place. Fernando and his team has been so awesome and patient dealing with my tire issues! I first came in to get my tire air pressure filled, but then the low tire pressure alert came on probably 3-4 times after and EACH time Fernando fully examined it to figure out the issue. Fernando was able to accommodate me on a Sunday, which is their busiest day, for a check engine emergency. He was very professional throughout the entire process and was very transparent with me about my car's issues, pricing, and the remaining potential of my 2009 car. scammers... they will switch and bait you on service that you may not need and top of it will charge you exorbitant price for it too. My 90 year old father who donates food to their mechanics was swindled by the owner. The owner told him on the phone that they will fix the leak in the transmission and change the terminals for battery for his old car. Instead they changed the spark plugs and terminals and charged over $600 for a 2 hour job. Dad would never have agreed on the spark plug changes. Service was very expensive so then the shop owner (Fernando) told me that it's because his work is perfect and that if there is any problem in the next year and a half he would repair it for free. A mistake was made during the repair (it happens!!) as one of his guys (lovely by the way) ripped a piece from my trunk while repairing it. Now from there it went downhill I had the hardest time 1) getting a hold of the owner 2) getting him to admit it was his responsibility 3) getting him to fix it 4) meanwhile getting him to keep me updated on when this would be done He would tell me to call him back in 5' or that he would call me and would never do it or respond Phone or texts In the end, he got really rude with me out of frustration I guess. He never fixed what he damaged and started communicating in a way that was borderline. Fernando should definitely improve his way of communicating if he wants to qualify his work of perfect.
