My parents are locals and I found this spot a couple years back. Now I get it every morning I'm visiting them. Finally got them to try it, as they're big coffee-from-home people, and they LOVE it. This place definitely has the keys charm and laid back vibes on the inside, and is more like a shop than a place to stop and sip on your coffee. I really really love the logo and the fact that it's the perfect pick me up before making it all the way down to Key West. With that, the coffee itself was yummy, but it was SO sweet that I had to wait until the ice melted a bit to drink it. There aren't many options when it comes to "roadside" coffee on your way down the Key West, but you don't want to miss this one! This is more than just a coffee shop, it's a gift shop, a restaurant, a hang out spot, and they even had a few baked goods. My boyfriend and I each got an iced coffee and it was delicious. We stopped on our way out of Key West and had coffee and a "specialty" bagel. Delicious coffee and the bagels are truly "special". The service is outstanding. Super friendly. Seating is very limited and all outdoors and not shaded at the time of day that we were there. No big deal, just how it is. We would make this a must stop place when we come back. read more

The staff is so kind and is very attentive to special requests on your order (lite syrup, no sugar ect) drinks are consistently tasty and made correctly. The coffee is delicious and the staff is kind. They have a variety of international comestibles, there something for almost any belly. There's allot to check out this little roadside stop. We tried their bagel toasters - open faced sandwiches (I had bacon and cheese). They're delicious! But the piece de resistance is there flavorful coffee. We had the coconut coffee and I'm convinced this is the best invention ever. It's so simple but so full of flavor - if you're a coconut lover like me, I highly recommend this choice! I love that you can get kermits key lime pie and chocolate covered pie slices here. Their drinks tend to be on the milkier end and also very sweet, so adjust as needed when ordering. I love that they have a variety of Sugar free syrups, as well as alternative mylks. We got a cold brew and a cafe con leche. Both had a very light coffee taste, which I didn't mind, but my partner wished it was a tad stronger. Either way, it's a nice spot to stop by and grab a quick pick me up. read more

This funky roadside store bills itself as the "southernmost coffee roasters". The front of the establishment is dedicated to retail coffee, frozen food, souvenirs, t-shirts and the like. The back is where they roast the coffee, which is excellent. Food choices are however limited. I had the bacon cheese bagel which I enjoyed. If you are in the area and in the mood for a coffee then it's a must. Closes at 4pm. read more

Pros: Best coffee I've had in the keys! I ordered the mocha iced latte, hubby had a regular coffee, both were delicious! Mine was delightfully chocolaty and oh so refreshing! Baby's coffee also offers a variety healthy snacks from cupcakes, to chips, to protein bars, they also sell craft beers, wine, smoothies, and other beverages. They have a small donation-only book stand. Definitely a great find! This is officially my preferred coffee spot in the lower keys. Cons: They have four tables, no chairs. On the way back from Key West, a must stop if you didn't have coffee and or breakfast. I only had coffee and so I am reviewing that experience only. I'm a tough sell on my iced americanos when in hot climates, and iced coffee-you can forget about me ordering that. So I set the bar high based on a local roaster where I live in CT which kills it. That said there's a few places around the states that make a good one-this place is one. I order 4 shots and add a little light cream-done. This one was excellent-not quite as good as my home location or the well-known Key West one-but kicked ass nonetheless. They've got bagel-"pizzas," pastries, and even sell beer (love that!) and their own coffee beans to take away. It's really a must stop headed back to the mainland from Key West. read more

So how good is Baby's Coffee? Good enough that Juan Valdez himself preferred Baby's Coffee over any of his country's own colombian coffee. It's that good. It's a given that the place smell unbelievable and the variety of roasted coffee is not overwhelming. The employees there are hip and sweet and make smart recommendations. The coffee menu is short and simple and they don't confuse things with alternative names for small medium large (something I find annoying at Starbucks; large is just a large, not a venti). You can buys roasted beans whole or ground specifically for your coffee maker. Although the frozen coffee and other specialties are good, try a simple cup of help-yourself coffee; it's just a buck and it's perfect. The store itself does have a large variety of food goodies, snacks and munchies but a bit overpriced. They have a very nice selection of wines, surprisingly fairly priced. They have a section of Baby's Coffee shirts, jackets and miscellaneous; have no idea what the costs are. They have a refrigerator with soda, juice, beer and et cetera all priced the same as any old convenience store. They don't have a seating area but if you want to enjoy without driving off, there is a park with plenty of tables and shade. The only case I didn't mention was the food coolers filled with delicious sandwiches, wraps, bagels with specialty spreads, muffins and so much more; ridiculously priced though. It's possible it's cheaper now as I haven't looked at the price in quite some time; we go often but only for coffee. The coffee is so good that I am not even deducting a star for the overpriced food items. As far as locating Baby's Coffee; don't plan a visit while walking around Duval Street or other touristy sections of Key West.... some address's in the lower keys use Key West as the city in lieu of the actual name of the key you are on. Business's located on the main (and only) highway (US1) are often missed by GPS units. Even google has the right address but if you ask for directions, you end up in Key West which is NOT where Baby's is at.... So here it is: directly on US1 (also known as Overseas Highway) on Saddlebunch Key (the edge of a community known as Bay Point); even more precisely: MILE MARKER 15 read more

Please do not waste your time at this filthy establishment with mediocre food, bitter coffee, and some of the worst service I've ever had. Go look at how the owner responds to Google reviews - she's wildly unprofessional and shouldn't own a business. She disregards all the reviews talking about the atrocious customer service and points her finger at the PAYING CUSTOMER, saying "you're the unhappy one" when there are many reviews talking about how awful the women are behind the counter. They're so rude it's unbearable. What's hilarious is the ladies at the counter were soooo nice to the gentleman in front of me AND behind me, but nasty to me. I've seen a plethora of reviews talking about how nasty they are to people, and the owner just writes it off and claims she has the best people working for her. From an awful experience at the counter to management - this business is not worth your hard earned money. The owner and staff are a bunch of clowns. You'll get way better coffee down in actual key west. read more
