I would say this place is decent. Our waitress was attentive. Restaurant was clean. Ambience was exceptional, but our sushi chef was not very hospitable and did not pay much attention to us at all. We set up at the front bar at the corner and I tried to make conversation with him a couple times, but he was distracted with the other customer next to us. He just wasn't very friendly or welcoming and every time we wanted to order something we would have to flag him down and I felt like I was bothering him every time I asked for our next order... I have driven past this sushi restaurant for years on my way to the beach. I decided to stop last night on my way home. I am so happy I finally did! The owners are incredibly kind and hospitable. But let's get to the most important part... is the sushi good and fresh? YES! Incredibly fresh with generous portions. I got the yellowtail sushi, me so honey, spicy crunch appetizer and a miso soup. I loved the part of the menu titled "special". I need to come back and try some other things. I also spoke to some regulars at the bar, and they said that they have another location, and at that location, they serve Pho. I heard it is the best in town. You shouldn't bother responding to reviews if you're unwilling to take responsibility for poor service. What you completely missed is that both of your employees were extremely rude and showed no remorse for failing to meet the pickup time that you established--not me. When I asked for the owner's information, the woman who handed me my food pointed to Jimmy and, in a smug tone, said, "He already got the alert about your review." Apparently, Jimmy couldn't be bothered to step over and apologize for his employees' behavior. This review has nothing to do with the food being late. However, after drinks were ordered, it was challenging to flag down our server to place our sushi order . She finally comes by and we decided to forgo the all you can eat, which is around $40ish per person. We order individual rolls. Sushi orders placed and the 3 stars were due to how long it took to get our food. Other tables were getting theres before ours multiple times which was a little frustrating when your hungry, especially when our order was places prior . There was an employee ( with blonde hair) who was drinking and just talking a lot to customers. It is so unprofessional for an employee to be drinking and being on the clock. She didn't even greet anyone she was just talking and talking like if she was a customer there.
