ZingGa has been on my wanting to try for years... and I finally tried it when I moved out of the area. I definitely missed out when I lived walking distance from here. Each dish was cooked when ordered so you know it's fresh. The flavor was delicious & not too salty. It's a cutie small business hold in the wall, but the quality is there. Highly recommend!

New Menu Price increase ncrease - Jan 2025

As a frequent customer, I was shocked and disappointed that they raised their prices on their menu items at the beginning of the new year. Their plates which previously cost $12 are now $15 which is significant increase. I like dining at Zinga grill because the food is great and it was very affordable. With these new price increases, that is not the case anymore. I will less likely be visiting this restaurant now due to the prices.

I am from SFV and just so happened I was in SCV area. There was an accident on bithe the 14S and 5S fwy going back so I decided to find a place for lunch and kill time since I was so hungry already. I found this place in Yelp and since I love Korean food so much, I thought of giving this fusion place a try. The place is located in a huge town center full of different fast food establishments (MC Donalds, El Pollo Loco Etc.) and stores, If I recall correctly its accross Costco Warehouse on Via Princessa. Lots of parking spaces and the restaurant itself is easy to find. As soon as you walk-in, you will see the counter where you will order and the tables on the left hand side. It is neat, organize and very clean. They have a pretty decent selection of Korean Fusion food and I must say that I wanted to try everything as I love Korean food so much but I opted to order their Chicken Katsu from the lunch Special ($6) and would like something healthy on the side so I tried also their House Salad with fried Green Bean ($6) in sesame dressing. I went to seat myself and they brought me my food which is actually nice. The food taste amazing, I mean even if Katsu is simple I love the crunch texture with a sizzle of teriyaki sauce, topped with chopped green onions and served over steamed rice. The salad is a mix of lettuce and spring mix with wonton string (so good!) and i am not sure what the yellow triangular topping on the top but I loved and enjoyed every bite of it. Aside from the sesame dressing it also came with another white sauce and I think it is tartar sauce for the 3 decent sizes of fried green beans. As soon as I had a bite of the fried green beans, I was like, wow this is good! It nit like those typical tempura green beans from japanese restaurant, theirs is better, I guess the batter is way way better especially if you dip it in the white sauce... its sooooo delicious. I literally finished the entire food just to my self. I am so glad that I found this place in yelp and thata to the traffice going back because I was able to try this place in SCV where I rarely go (like it was probably my 2nd time in the area only). I will definitely go back here whenever I am in the area, I don't know when but for sure I will be back at this place..... I loved the food, the service, the friendly staff here :)

Interior is very nice clean and organized. Cashier was very friendly and understanding that I was a first timer. Ordered the chicken breast plate for myself and it was pretty good. Fried green beans, brown rice and salad were up to par with expectations. Chicken breast was cooked very well and very juicy but I will say it seems pretty bland. I didn't get it spicy for myself but after trying some spicy sauce off the other plate I would definitely get it spicy. French fries were overcooked for my liking but they were very crispy.

This place is INCREDIBLE. I can't review enough. I just went in before work today and I'm currently eating the pork belly bibimbap bowl... sensational . Customer service is amazing too . Will never complain

I ordered the beef bulgogi rice bowl with a mix of very refreshing veggies, and a side of chicken dumplings with a delicious house sauce on the side. It took some time to prepare however there was only one guy there (shortly after another guy showed up), but in the meantime I glanced at his comic book collection in the corner and picked four different comic books (because I couldn't choose just one..) Epic collection of comic books by the way... I sat down and the meal arrived sooner than expected. They changed the channel on the TV. I enjoyed every bite. Reading and relaxing. Truly a hidden gem in the valley.

I have come back numerous times and they always have fantastic service and the food is always so delicious and made only with the freshest vegetables. Another advantage I loose a pound every night I eat their food! Their food is healthy no bad ingredients in it. Brad is always so nice and he has so much patience. This restaurant is always packed and the take out orders are just as packed. Bret us another employee who always has a smile and you can tell he loves the public and cooking. Come and find out for yourself. Thus place is very diverse. People of all ages and all races coming back for more. I love this place.

I went again after 2 years and the pork belly didn't taste like gas anymore. Definitely a good improvement. I'll be back again soon.

Very friendly staff greeted me as I entered the restaurant. I went on a Sunday at 1130 am and it just opened. The place was clean and orderly. I placed an order to go and had the short ribs, which came with excellent veggie tempura, good portions of rice and salad. The whole meal was very good. I am looking forward to returning and ordering other items in the menu.

My family & I recently tried ZingGa Grill. We were very pleased overall! The staff was super friendly & greeted us when we walked in. They didn't rush us, and were really helpful with answering our questions. The food was very flavorful & delicious! I had the Short Ribs Plate as a Spicy 2. The Short Ribs were perfectly cooked & packed a lot of flavor. My wife and boys had the chicken bowls, sandwich & chicken wings plate. Everything looked really good. The Honey Sweet Potato fries & chicken dumplings were also extremely good! The restaurant itself is nice & cozy. It has a nice feel to it. Definitely a must try!

I found Teriyaki Madness by accident while driving home around 7:00 PM and honestly, it was the greatest dining experience I've had in a long time. It was my first time ever trying their food, and it was so good I had to post it on my Instagram immediately. The overall mood of the place is nice and calm. It's not one of those loud, overwhelming restaurants and it feels like a secret underground spot that people haven't fully discovered yet. Inside, the place is really clean and well-kept. The staff wears black shirts with the business name and regular jeans, keeping the vibe professional but relaxed. They are super friendly, too. Since I was a first timer, I asked the cashier what she recommended, and she pointed me toward the spicy chicken. The food came out fairly quick, which was great because I was starving. I had originally asked for the food to go, so the cashier gave me my order in a bag with the bowls sealed with lids. However, once I looked around, the place felt so cozy that I decided to stay and eat inside instead of taking it home. I got the Spicy Chicken Teriyaki bowl with white rice and vegetables, and it was 10/10. The chicken was a good spicy. It had a kick but wasn't too much to handle. Even in the to-go bowls, the food looked delicious and fresh the second I opened the lids. The portions are also pretty big. I got full after eating only half the bowl, so I saved the rest for today. Pricing-wise, it was really good and fair. I paid 50 dollars for three bowls and three drinks, which is a great deal for how much food you actually get. Whether you're looking for a quick dinner on the way home or just want a chill place to relax, I highly recommend checking this spot out. I'm definitely going back. (this was for my English class to identify a restaurant and write a short article that discusses the overall "dining experience" but it was so good I had to post it here)

The food here is really good and fresh. I ordered a regular chicken teriyaki bowl with half white rice, half noodles, and half veggies, along with the crab rangoons. First off, let me say the portions are huge. I definitely could have ordered a junior bowl, but no complaints here because now I have plenty of leftovers. They are not stingy at all with their protein or any of their bowl fillings, which I really appreciated. The chicken is grilled to literal perfection and has tons of flavor. The noodles are sooo good. I highly recommend ordering half rice and half noodles if you don't mind the extra charge. I also love the fresh veggies they add to the bowl free of charge it really adds to the overall freshness. The crab rangoons were another hit, perfectly crispy and stuffed with a yummy crab filling. I also recommend ordering a side of their yum yum sauce. So good. Overall, you are definitely getting your money's worth with these bowls. The location itself is clean and has indoor seating. There is a little bit of a wait time, but that is only because the food is cooked fresh, which is not a bad thing at all. The service is friendly. I recommend downloading their app and joining their rewards program if you eat here. They currently have a buy one get one bowl deal in the app along with other reward opportunities.

We also brought our baby daughter with us. It didn't take long for us to get seated near the sushi chef area. Our waitress was Natalie and she came to get our drinks and appetizers orders first. We just got soda and my wife wanted her spicy garlic edamame. She brought our drink and edamame quick. My wife ordered the Salmon and made it into a dinner meal so it would come with miso soup, salad and brown rice. I got the Mongolian beef and asked for Jasmine rice. Our food took some time to come out, the miso soup and salad came out quick. My wife like the soup but not the salad, I tried it too and they just drenched it with dressing so not good. This was when Natalie went to refill my wife drink and when she came back, it didn't taste like a coke. I tooked multiple attempts to flag her down and she didn't believe me at first that the coke tasted weird. So she didn't even take it and said she'll bring a new one and I also asked for a refill on mine. She came back and said the people in the back is replacing the coke tank since it's emptied. My Mongolian beef was delicious and they were generous with the portion. I loved my dish, my wife salmon also came out but she didn't really like. Natalie came back with just one coke but forgot my refill. The coke she brought was flat so not good. We decided to not even bother anymore. She disappeared again until I flagged her down with another waiter help to asked for the check and boxes. The customer service here was bad and where they sat us, was smokey from the sushi chef area.
