I love a good bar out of airport, and this is one not only is in Miami but it's a Bacardi rum bar. The drinks are expensive, but they are very yummy. I like the atmosphere of this bar makes you feel that you're not at the airport, however, is very small. The bartender was very nice and fast to give him my drink. If you are in Miami airport, please stop at this bar I believe is by Gate D 40.

The Bacardi Mojito Bar in the Miami Florida International Airport is a fun little spot to take advantage of when delayed! There are several Bacardi flavors to try that you may never have seen. Our waiter was really nice and we had some fun cocktails while we waited out our massive flight delays!! One thing to take note of is all dining/drinking locations in the airport add gratuity automatically no matter if it is 1 person or 15 people! They do not tell you anywhere!! So check your bill before you leave 40% tip!!!

Edit: this is for the MIA airport location I had about an hour to kill before my flight, and I decided to check this out since it was near my gate. This area has very limited seating, so don't try to dine there with a large group you're traveling with. On the flip side, if it's just you or a couple other people, it's got a great view of outside to watch the planes. They also have lots of outlets if you need to do any work. The food here was great! I really enjoyed my wings and the chips were kettle cooked. The margarita was super strong and tasty; however, for the size and price (no price was listed on the menu, I believe the drink was $15-$17) I think that was extremely expensive for the size drink you got. I would definitely eat here again, but I would 100% skip out on the alcohol.

Idk what's up with other reviews??? Best drinks, food, and service that I've had at an airport bar. Mojitos and hurricanes were STRONG and well crafted. Food was inexpensive for airport food and tasty. Mark was a great bartender. Go here first!

Great place to stop for a drink and some food if you have a layover. The drinks are outstanding and the food is ok. Lots of variety and the server was friendly. I had a breakfast empanada and a beef empanada. Loved the beef. The breakfast was ok. The Puerto Rican Breakfast was my favorite drink. It was very refreshing and spiked to perfection.

I was extremely surprised that this place had such delicious food. We started with a morning beer........Yes, as this was the end of a wonderful 11 day vacation ;) We started with the Empanadas with Ham, Egg & Cheese along with the fruit salad. As per the pictures, both were tasty and delicious. If you are in this area of the airport, you must try as they are delicious! We then had had the wings, which were again, surprisingly delicious. As per the picture, you get 6 wings and a nice amount of wing sauce along with a generous amount of celery. We ended with the Caesar Salad. This was without a doubt the feature of our meal. The dressing was tone of the best I've tasted as this was not Caesar dressing. It was a culinary delight!!!! If you are this area of the Miami Airport, this is a must try restaurant! Bon Appetit!

During a recent layover in Miami International, in search of a bite to eat, we ended up at the Bacardi Rum Bar & Grill. As always, when in Miami, I have to get my empanada fix! Lucky for me, they had some on their menu. I ordered one chicken and a spinach & cheese. They both had a nice flaky crust and were overall good except they were lacking in the filling. Given this is a Bacardi Rum Bar, we also ordered a couple of mohitos to pass the time. We ordered an original and a limon. Not the best mohito I've ever had, but they were actually good and I would stick to the original. Prices were reasonable given it's in the airport. Our server was also really friendly and also seemed to be constantly smiling. I guess I would be too if I lived in Miami. This is a good option if you have a craving for empanadas, but if you have more time, it's best if you walk on over to La Carreta or Versailles.

    Tiki Dream! Really yummy!

Food is decent, my drink and server were awesome! Nuff said. Only reason why it's 4 stars is bcuz it's in the friggin airport past ckn point and it needs to be like around the corner from my house

From Kiosk to Hole in the Wall..The Rum Bar is a great way to spend those few hours of layover before the airline loses your luggage, your sanity, and your desire to actually go home after your holiday. I was here last year when it was just a kiosk and the bartender was the friendliest, sweetest and the lovliest of ladies to serve drinks. Keep in mind that it's still an airport bar located by the American Airlines island hopping wing, but it does what it's supposed to do. Offer you that distraction, so you forget how poorly planned the airport is, how badly you don't want to go back to work at home and most importantly, if you're headed to your holiday vacation, it is a great way to start your festivities. Ok, you have your standard Mojito, the Dragonberry Mojito and Island style drinks. Who cares...it's not any cheaper than on the plane itself, but the bathroom is much closer and not as cramped. All you care about at this stage is just drinking, trying to kill those hours while the Sweet, sweet rum kills what's remaining of those silly brain cells. You don't need it really...you're either going on Holiday or you're going back home and eventually back to work. Might as well let them die the slow death that they deserve. So, if you're stuck at MIA...have a good drink and have it here.

Delicious beef empanadas, one of the best at the airports. Can't wait to try the mojitos next time they looked delicious.

The flavors were really hittin--not salty but definitely not lacking in flavor and complexity. So delicious The only criticism I would have from what I ordered is that the rice was ever so slightly undercooked which made it a bit dry. Other than that, everything was great. There's not really a server--you order and they text you when it's ready. Then you come pick it up and go to your table. But the cashier lady was very nice and helped me decide what to get.

If you're looking for something unique to try at the Citadel, Manjay is worth a shot. They serve Haitian cuisine. Portions were generous and in general, the food was kind of heavy. Many of the components I believe were made to order, so there was a short wait. Here's what my wife and I ordered: Appetizer: * Caribbean Conch Fritters ($14) - Manjay pikliz, honey mustard remoulade These were big and tasty. Six pieces, like giant hush puppies with conch inside. The plate came with pikliz in the center. Pikliz is like the Haitian version of coleslaw, made with cabbage, carrots, onions, and peppers. Manjay's version was spicy and yummy. Bowls, each with 2 sides and 1 sauce: * Honey Jerk Chicken Bowl ($18) - breaded and tossed in Manjay's homemade honey jerk sauce; with red beans rice and sweet plantains and scotch bonnet mango aioli * From Haiti with Love (Griyo) ($18) - Deep-fried Kreyol-style slow-braised pork; with banan payzay and toofay Both the chicken and pork were very good and flavorful. The pork was served bone-in. The rice and beans and sweet plantains were comforting and addictive. The scotch bonnet mango aioli was spicy. Banan payzay are Haitian pressed plantains. These were savory and starchy. The toofay ("legume") was good too. It's a hearty vegetable stew, essentially Haitian ratatouille. Our cashier was Roniqua and she was nice. During our visit, I think Manjay had the longest line (a good sign). After walking around, looking at the other food court options and seeing Manjay's high rating on Yelp, we were sold on Manjay. We dined in so we got real plates and silverware. We actually took everything up to the rooftop bar and ate up there. Our trays were bussed by the staff on the roof. Along with this location at the Citadel food court in Little River (just north of Little Haiti), Manjay has a casual strip location near the Miami airport in Doral. This Citadel location is the original; it opened in February 2019. The Doral location opened in 2024.

By the time the doors opened, there was already a line forming behind us. THIS PLACE IS LITTT! The vibe is definitely part restaurant, part party. Once the DJ gets going, just know you're not coming here for a quiet little brunch. There's indoor and outdoor seating, but if you sit outside, be prepared for that Miami heat AND to be a little closer to all the music and action. I was celebrating my birthday and our waitress, Charley, was an absolute DREAM! She took such good care of us and made sure the shots kept coming. And coming. I ordered the Smoked BBQ Beef Rib Platter, and the portion was HUGE. Everything was super tasty, especially the sides. My only critique was that I wish the beef rib had been just a tad more tender. I also ordered the Malibu Mojito, which was sooo good. I think I had about 12. Okay, maybe not 12, but clearly I enjoyed them! Service did slow down a little once things got really busy, and one of our dishes came out a little cold, but neither was enough to ruin the experience. Overall, Dukunoo is a MUST for me whenever I'm in Miami. Good food, GOOD drinks, music, energy and a whole vibe. From the regular menu, we ordered the bbq toro and the oxtail udon. The duck dumplings had a rich au jus, great. Our favorite app was the sweet potato croquette. Slightly sweet, a satisfying crunch, but soft in the center with tender brisket. The white bbq sauce and parm gave it a nice smoky nuttiness. Ordered another round, they were so good! The bbq toro had an amazing smokey flavor and a nice citrusy butter as the sauce. The cut was perfect. The oxtail udon was really hearty, and by far the best dish we had (though all the dishes were seriously incredible). It comes with a cured egg yolk, which they mix for you tableside.
