This cafe in Concourse E is open 24/7. It's one of 3 food or drink places at the Miami international airport that's open 24/7. I was drawn by the French name first and then it was the mango juice. I assumed it was all natural fruit bc I wanted it to be. It has added sugar and they didn't know what percentage juice it was. But it still tastes good. So I tried it. I would say it's about 10% juice and it tastes like mango so I was happy. Everything else was more like deep fried pastries or ham and cheese filling which I wasn't into. This is one of the smaller ones, but I was able to get a hearty "Pan con Bistec" (Steak Sandwich) and a Cortadito (light milk with Cuban coffee). It was around the $20s for the meal...airport prices but it was good and it filled up my tank for a long flight. I would do it again, especially for a quick and substantial meal. It takes a few minutes to make, as they make the steak fresh - for a thin steak like that you need it fresh or it'll be extremely tough. It's not a sit-down waiter type restaurant though, this is a quick service window. Perfect for when you want something fast. Works for me! Stopped by before my flight and it was a great choice. This is a perfect spot to grab a Cuban breakfast pastry or sandwich. I tried the steak sandwich and highly recommend it, very flavorful. You can't really mess up anything Versailles related, specially the little window that serves pastries and coffee. On this visit, I made a quick stop to get fueled up before jumping on my flight. The lines are normally long and it takes about 20 minutes to order and get your food, at which point you either walk fast to your gate, or sit down and gobble down your food. Everything is good and it really depends on how much you are craving their stuff, as well as your time management skills and stress resistance. They also have a cafeteria with tables. I've eaten at the REAL Cafe Versaille, the one in Little Havana near downtown Miami, and loved it. Sadly, this airport outpost of that restarnat is NOT nearly the same quality. I had a Cuban sandwich, a few pastries, and a Cafe Cubano. The only really good item was the cafe...it was exactly what I would expect from a Havana-style espresso, rich and sweet. The sandwich and pastries, however, were terrible. The sandwich was super dry and lacked much flavor...it was closer to cardboard than to a real Cuban sandwich. The pastries were equally dry and flavorless...they were so dry they were hard to swallow. It's really sad to see that this airport outpost of the extremely famous Cuban restaurant does not even come close to doing the brand justice. In a land of boring and expensive airport options, Cafe Versaille stands out. They have the BEST coffee I have ever tasted and I am a major coffee snob who knows my coffee and have had some of the worlds best. They had a wide variety of pastries, empanadas, cuban food, salads, sandwiches, and deserts too. The food was delicious and VERY REASONABLE. I couldnt believe how cheap my coffee and pastry was, especially in an airport. It is worth the walk to this terminal to visit this place. Man what a send off from what Versailles actually is and stands for. The staff could not be any colder. If it wasn't for their Santa hats you would think you're talking to soulless Krampus minions. Then again, maybe they were and they used the Santa hats as a disguise. We ordered a cubano and media noche sandwiches. Although there is a press/plancha right there on the service counter, our sandwiches were microwaved. Maybe we were supposed to ask for one or the other? Either way, we weren't asked or told how it would be heated so the sandwiches first came to us soggy then when we asked for them to be toasted it just wasn't a "cubano" or "media noche" anymore. On a shocking twist of an experience, the pastries were almost as good as what you find at the main Versailles spot. We ordered two cheese, two guava and cheese, and a dulce de leche cookie. Slightly more expensive than the main spot but all were delicious, tasty, and had that Cuban flare. The pastries so flaky and light with the sweetness from the filling. Meanwhile the cookie was out of this world good. That thick, rich, luscious dulce sandwiched between the soft buttery cookies was amazing. read more

This location at MIA (in Terminal E, near Gate 31), nowhere compares to the original Versailles Restaurant, nor their Versailles Bakery but if you're at the airport, this is a great option for cortadito, sandwiches, empanadas, croquettes, and tostada. They also have a bunch of other food items and lots of beverage choices. This is a tiny location but packed with lots to offer. They even have a few tables where you can sit and enjoy your meal/snack. As to be expected, prices are much higher than the original restaurant/bakery. Make sure you have lots of time before your flight, as the lines are extremely long. It's well worth the wait, as long as you leave plenty of time. It's not worth missing your flight! lol read more

This could easily have been a 5 star experience if they had more employees behind the counter. not sure if they're understaffed or this is how they always are. as i went to go get food from another location for my husband, the line was kinda short here but when i was walking back the line was at least 10 people long. so it's a hit or miss. anyway i needed my coffee, so i got in line. there was a lady taking food orders before you got to the cashier, i feel like she should multitask and when someone doesn't want a food order, she should be making coffee... me nor the guy in front of me wanted food so she was filling up pastelitos and probably helping the cooks in the back but maybe she should have been making coffee to make it easier for the cashier? the cashier had to take breaks in between checking people out to make coffee. by the time i got to the register and ordered my measly coffee, there was like 5 other customers waiting for their coffee. so after she cashed maybe 2 other people out after me, she had to stop and make a ton of coffees. that's why the line is as long as it is. Besides all that commotion. the food, the drinks, everything is SO cheap here and i can see that it's super tasty and everything looks mostly fresh! if i ever find myself near a Cafe Versailles at the airport, or anywhere really, i will definitely be checking out there food and always getting my coffee from here. it's a nice last minute Miami experience before you hit the road/air! read more

Lechon was dry, rice & beans were bland, counter service was terrible, mojito that tasted like water was $19 and the tables were not cleaned. I did not bother taking photos as I am not here to slam business's but to offer an honest review of my experience. I do hope it was an off day for the staff. I was sad to be leaving Miami and decided to try Cafe Versaille as I waited to board my plane. I ordered both a beef empanada and a Cubano. I absolutely loved the flavors of both. I'm sometimes hesitant towards beef empanadas, as they sometimes are a bit dry, but this one was juicy and flavorful, I was glad I decided to give it a shot. The cubano was absolutely delicious, however, I wish mine came with a little more mustard, and more than one small pickle on the whole thing. Also, a few pieces of the meat was cold, suggesting it hadn't been toasted fully through. Despite this, I still felt like the Cubano was delicious and I would definitely order it again next time I fly into MIA. read more

I typically don't get crazy with airport food but I thought I'd give this place a try. It's located near Gate D9. The smell of fresh baked goods hits you once you enter their station. Never tried a Cuban sandwich before and their prices looked reasonable for airport food. So glad I gave them a chance cause it cured my hunger pain. I ended up adding a beef empanada and an Arizona. It wasn't just good cause I was hungry but hearty as well. Saving the other 1/2 for my bf to try. I'm actually about to hop back in line to grab a beef empanada for him to try cause that filling was bomb. Not too salty and stuffed nicely. Whenever I fly in to Miami, the first thing I do is head over to Cafe Versaille and get a colada and a pasteles de guaybo y queso. It makes me very happy. The pasteles are served warm and the colada is always on point. It is such a great way kick-off any trip to Miami. The people behind the counter are super friendly and the coffee comes out quickly. As far as airport food goes, this is amazing. I saw this line while I was headed to my gate and had to stop and try it because I was extremely curious. (and i saw someone order an entire box of pastries, I'm not sure if it was a last minute gift for a loved one or plane snacks but either way it looked amazing) They offer a huge variety of Cuban pastries, sandwiches, and coffee. I didn't expect much, I mean it is just Iced coffee. An iced coffee at sbux is the one "cheap" thing you can buy there for only about $2. This was double the price with triple the sugar. Horrible service. Cashier was extremely rude when taking my order rolling eyes and complaining behind my back with other employees as if I didn't understood Spanish. She literally made fun of the customer before me after he declined to add a tip on the service. They need to know the service tip is optional, not required.
