Our food was delicious. We ordered the broccoli sauté pizza. It was nice and light for a pizza. The bread they served before the meal was fresh and delicious. We also ordered the kids rigatoni with tomato sauce and a meatball. The pasta was cooked perfectly and she devoured the meatball. As for our service, it was slow. Best place to eat in Doylestown! I eat here at least 2 times a month and I have had 13 different items on their menu which were all great. Their service is great, all the waiters/waitresses are extremely nice. For how good the food is the price is very reasonable! Impressive Italian pizzeria focused on great ingredients with true Italian flavor. Don't let the strip mall location fool you. This is a fantastic Italian restaurant that I will now bring my family and friends to regularly. The original pizza is spot on with a crispy and soft chewy crust. Great plum tomato sauce and love in every bite. The caprese salad is refreshingly different while letting the mozzarella and balsamic glaze shine. There was a chopped salad with kalamata olives surrounding a tomato mozzarella tower. Brilliant. The long hot appetizer was stuffed with risotto and meat that could have easily been replaced by mushrooms. This dish tasted great once I put a dash more salt and Parmesan. The spice was just right and the garlic bread can be used to mop up the spicy oil on the plate. Can't wait to return. I know this place gets better. This place is BYOB and fills up quickly. LOVE, love, love these guys. Been going for almost a year now. They do offer a veteran's discount, which tells a lot about the owners. That's beside the fact. The food is incredible!! Awesome long hots to start!! The pizza is great.. My favorite is the Buff. Chix or Drunken Brooklyn(they use vodka cream, instead of marinara) Also, they give you these little bread tings with olive oil, they are to die for... My favorite: Yo Vinny sandwich(Pulled pork with broccoli rabe)... When the pork is wet and the bread is dripping, there is no better... On daring days, I order the long hots on my Yo Vinny!! Tough to get into but great food, wings are great and the Brooklyn style pizza is something you've got to try. They use a real coal fired oven, it cooks at a very high temp and gives everything a nice crispy and subtly smokey taste. Never had a bad meal at Bacco until tonight! Ordered the seafood fra diavolo and when it arrived I needed a magnifying glass to find the clams & mussels in the shells! Also the scallops were super tiny and had a metallic taste. Not sure what happened to the quality of their seafood but it was well below par tonight! Just a quick update to the loyalty program I mentioned in my review;I am currently at Bacco Bistro and confirmed the following with the hostess. One has to collect seven (not eight) of the pizza slice magnets to get the free pizza which is medium cheese. Went here on 10/24/2015 and the food and service were excellent. We had fried calamari , asparagus, chicken parmesan and gnocchi. This place has the best gnocchi I've ever tasted!! We had take-out because of the Governor's prohibition on indoor dining. We had the antipasto salad with shrimp and a large pizza with several toppings. They were both delicious! I think it's important to say that we have had many good meals here, including takeout. Tonight was different though unfortunately. They were busy so we had to wait an additional 15 mins when we got there at the designated time for our takeout. Of the meals we ordered, the fries were undercooked and soggy, the green peppers weren't cooked in one entree, and two items were missing some of their ingredients. This used to be my go to spot, however after my last visit I'll never be back. We arrived at 4:00 for an early dinner. First off there was dirt and bits of stone in my iced tea, if you can believe that. Our wings were not fully cooked and the skin was rubbery. I ordered spaghetti Carbonara, which was way over sauced, no peas, and no bacon. In place of bacon there was sausage. I asked the waiter what this was, he said that's what I ordered. I asked where the bacon was, he picked up my plate took it to the kitchen and came back with a pile of bacon bits on my plate. While we were eating my friend noticed a bus boy drop some utensils on the floor. He then used these utensils to set the tables. There are plenty of places in Doylestown that are doing it right to have to put up with this. We won't be back. read more

The food is good, however portions seem to be getting smaller and smaller while prices go up. Ordered an appetizer to share, the stuffed zucchini. It was $8.75 and it was just a half of a zucchini with about a tablespoon of ricotta in each quarter. Very disappointed. read more

This place is a friendly environment with amazing staff. The reason I wouldn't give it a five star is the fact that their bread tends to taste stale and the price is a bit high. But the rest of their menu is fantastic. I've had their Mac and cheese and I have nothing but good thing to say about it. Their pizzas are also on the very top of my list. We always get a pizza when we come here. The crust is thin and the sauce and cheese are put together phenomenally creating the best pizza I think I've ever tasted. Bacco is our favorite restaurant in Dolylestown. My wife and I have a date night every Friday. We love the food and the selection. But as good as the food is the people are better. Believe everything you read here about this restaurant. We went for the first time on a Thursday evening and everything from the time we walked in til the time we walked out , 2 hours later, was a colossal disaster with the exception of the food. The service was the worst I've ever experienced anywhere. The food was great but seriously took over an hour from the time we ordered, my husband and kids got their meals and mine, which was a salad, was delivered 10 minutes later. I loved this place before we left in 2011 and have been back at least half dozen times since we returned about a year ago and have always had a great experience. The wait staff is good, the ambiance has a vibe like you're part of a big party. Nice buzz of activity but not too crazy. The BYOB situation cuts both ways, but wine and beer are available next door. Gotta try the pizza. If there is a miss is that the location is in a strip mall and not downtown Doylestown However my problem with downtown is that I fell most places to eat there are either creepily dark or full of themselves. On the plus side, the Drunken Brooklyn pizza is fantastic and my son loves the Buffalo Chicken pizza. We've ordered entrees in the past which have been generally good. However, the overall experience is not good. We arrived on a Friday evening at 6:20 pm and were told it was a 30 minute wait. Almost an hour later we were seated. I can understand 5 or 10 minutes late, but not almost double what we were told. When I mentioned this to the host, I received an insincere apology. Then we were seated at one of the high tables near the kitchen area. There was a vent over our table from which a/c was blowing off and on most likely due to the heat generated by the kitchen. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient; no complaints there. If we go back, we'll go on a Mon-Thurs night or do takeout; there is no reason to eat here on a Friday or Saturday evening. read more

Hint: that's what you call an understatement. You can buy a quarter of a margarita pizza for three dollars. THREE DOLLARS.
