We took my son's Suburban to Bachman-Bernard Chevrolet GMC last week and were treated extremely well. The first person we talked to was Sandy, and she truly makes you feel like a valued customer. Ted, the Service Mgr was next and he answered all our questions regarding transmission cooling--differential fluid change requirements--and tailgate damage repair. The total repair took less time than we expected and it was very well done. The 1500 mile drive back to Wyoming was a true test of the repairs and it passed with flying colors thanks to Ted, Sandy and the mechanics that worked on the vehicle. I have nothing but good things to say about Bachman Bernard. It was the first time for me to buy a car. I learned alot, they were very helpful. I took my old Nissan in for a oil change and they found out that it was not doing so good. Sandy is great!.....which brings me to sales, Andrew was very helpful and explained everything so I could understand what was going on, very down to earth. This is not a place to go if you need service. I purchased my 22 1500 here so one would think the dealership would offer an olive branch...nope. Today was the third time I have reached out to the service department at the this dealership only to be told, sure you can leave the truck here for service but it will be 3 weeks before we can get to it. My reply: 3 there weeks?? How am I to get by without my truck for 3 weeks...onstar is telling me not to drive it and take it to a dealer immediately. He said it would be 3 weeks with a straight face and never left he chair to look at the truck. Please drive past the dealer for service or in the need to purchase they can give two sh$i$ about you or your business!! I would give them a zero star if I could! I have used them for car service over the years so when they sent me a contest in the mail I thought it was real. They told me I had one prize for 1000 cash. When I went online to register they said I DID one of the prizes mentioned. When I showed up after a 20 minute ride a salesman took me back and started asking me questions about buying a car. I was going to consider it but after he got all his info I asked him about the prize. He said we would look at it after the car buying. I told him I wanted to know now so he relented and went out and told me I had one a $2 bill!!! That was not even on the prizes on my card or online! Even the up to $500 cash prize did not fit the $2 prize because that was up separate from the now $2 prize not seen anywhere. I called him a crook and left. No 2 bucks or door prize which I didnt get either! They are running a scam , beware!! read more

i had gone to this dealership early on saturday and tried out two cars, i left to see other dealers prices,call back about a car and discussed what the difference would be on my trade, we aggread on a price and i left johnson city to drive back to greenville and the price we had aggreed on the phone 3 times was NOT what they tried to force me into when i drove 30 miles back to there place.they were not friendly nor would not agree on the price on phone---will never trade there ever read more

I'm only sorry you cannot give neg stars. The mailer said I was a winner of a lawn mower. Did the confirmation process, was called back and told I won the lawn mower to go pickup. Went to collect and good ol Melvin came to give me the details of how I was mislead and that the number is what has to match with the board in the steelership and that I had won $2. Now before that I was trying to not have my time wasted and Melvin told me how I am rude, I attempted to apologize and he continued to tell me how I am rude and cut him off, I informed him I was trying not to waste either of our time and how it was rude how he was treating me. Melvin never once apologized for his gross and unprofessional behavior. After all they want customers, you must be brilliant to think behaving in such a manner would help your cause because Melvin I will make sure everyone looking for a car hears from me how your dealership misleads people to then treat them like garbage. Every website I review on bachman bernard will be getting a negative review from me. I have the phone call recorded where I was told I won the mower to pick it up and I will be sending a report into the state attorney generals office for them to review this scam. I drove an hour for nothing more than a scam and was told I am the rude one because I wasn't interested in hearing his sale pitch. I wouldn't dare buy anything from this business they are very rude and dishonest. I also will be making a youtube video about your scam as well. I left this review as soon as I got home from the incident which is July 23 2019. If you ask me find another dealer to buy from, sure don't take their word for anything because they sure do not follow their own written terms and conditions. Avoid having them work on your car. I brought mine in with a problem and they charged me $600 to fix it and within weeks it had the same problem and they wanted to charge me $600 to fix what they had supposedly already fixed. I wouldn't trust them read more

My Wife and I purchased a GMC truck on August 13, 2013. After a week we were told to return the truck because they could not finish the deal.We were appalled as I had already spent money making some improvements on it. We were not compensated. We were offered another truck and we took it. We later found out that they had destroyed my credit rating by trying over 20 times to secure a lending institution to go the loan on the first truck and failed. Doing this lowered my rating drastically. They promised to fill the tanks on both trucks and did not. The second truck had no owners manual and it took 3 weeks to get it after many phone calls. We are still waiting for our registration and the 30 day tag will expire tomorrow. We were told to alter the date on the tags expiration date by office personnel. We complained to management and were told we would have our registration on Thursday September 12, 2013 by way of overnite mail. We did not receive it and now the tag will expire leaving us truckless. I am considering legal action. I wonder how this dealership stays in business. Written by my husband. read more

I would think long and hard begore purchasing a pre owned vehicle from this dealership. I had been looking on line at cars.com at various pre owned vehicles. Bachman Bernard advertised one I thought I'd be interested in. With no price listed I knew I had to submit my info and would be contacted. And I was. The vehicle I was interested in I couldn't afford. I was asked what was I looking for in a vehicle and I told him an SUV , back up camera, and moon roof. Made an appointment for the following day to meet with the salesman. Not ever having purchased a vehicle from a dealership before (on my own) they knew they had me at hello. I was greeted by the salesman, chatted a bit. I felt a level of comfort when I saw the religious articles displayed in his office. I test drove 2 vehicles. I liked the 2012 GMC Terrain with 40,818 miles on it. Sticker price 29,991.00. Ok now the fun starts on crunching numbers I was asked What can I afford to pay a month. I told him. Back and forth to the finance guy. Okay. Guess what? We can get you a 1.63% interest rate I thought great.. Okay. Sold me extended warranty of almost $2,700.00. come to find out the vehicle was still under manufacturers warranty. When I was advised I needed to pay $795.00 for Gap Insurance, the best explanation I got was "it's what you need but it's not". Huh???? I mean how stupid was I ? I was told financing was with a particular lender. Great. Gas tank was on empty and they were kind enough to fill the gas tank with only a half a tank. What?? Oh yeah. Only one key fob. The other was lost. This took place on Saturday May 9th. On Monday the 11th I received a voice mail from the salesman at Bachman Bernard advising me he had "great news" ! They were able to get me a 1.63% finance rate and needed me to come and sign the new loan papers. I thought to myself wow, Bachman Bernard went above and beyond and then thought .. wait a minute I thought I already had a 1.63% finance rate. I returned the call and advised I'd be there on Wednesday to sign. I drive the 45 minutes to Greenville after work. come to find out, the financing is with a different lender. Huh? Well it wasn't until I started getting letters from lenders denying my financing (6 different lenders to be exact) I started to question and research. It wasn't because of my credit that I was denied but the amount they wanted financing. The vehicle wasn't worth the money. Now I'm on a roll... I wrote to the General Manager. His letter was received on July 1st and signed for. Still no response from him. Today is August 15th. I take responsibility for my lack of knowledge and experience. However, I've learned a great deal from this. I took a road trip to the Jersey Shore. Saw friends. Guess what? The son happens to work for GM. I told them my story. They took me to Lester Glenn Dealership in Toms River. Got another key fob. Decided to test drive a couple of vehicles while waiting for the key. I drove off the lot with a new 2015 GMC Terrain SLT-2 for a few thousand less than the 2012 Terrain sold to he by Bachman Bernard. I, in good conscience, couldn't enjoy the vehicle sold to me by Bachman Bernard knowing my integrity was insulted and bought the vehicle under false pretense . Thank you Bachman Bernard for giving me a lesson I needed to learn. Just sorry it had to cost me so much. read more
