Crispy Sweet Chili Prawns

An Unforgettable Birthday Celebration at Baci's! We'd been wanting to visit Baci's for ages, and finally decided to celebrate my birthday here on Valentine's Day - what a perfect choice! Tip: Make reservations! This place gets really busy, especially on special occasions. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed. The Valentine's Day decor was beautiful and really added to the romantic atmosphere. The staff was incredibly efficient and friendly, and our waiter Kevin was absolutely fantastic and gracious throughout the evening. Appetizers: We started with the Golden Beet Salad (with goat cheese, toasted almonds, and honey balsamic dressing) and the Crispy Sweet Chili Prawns. The prawns were amazing - they came with a Fiji apple coleslaw and pomegranate sauce, and the combination was simply heavenly! Entrees: The Lamb Rack came with four beautifully cooked lamb chops, mashed potatoes, spinach, and pomegranate sauce - really delicious. We also tried the Chicken Milano, which was incredible. The combination of artichoke, sun-dried tomato, asparagus, shallots, linguini, basil, garlic, parmesan, parsley, and white wine lemon sauce was perfection on a plate. Desserts: We couldn't resist ordering both the Molten Chocolate Cake with vanilla ice cream and the Warm Bread Pudding with ice cream. Both were fantastic and the perfect end to our meal. The vibe at Baci's is lively and festive - it can get loud, but that just adds to the fun atmosphere. If you're looking for a great place to celebrate with friends or that special someone, Baci's is definitely worth a visit. We'll be back!

Baci left great memories from when we went last so we had to try again- and they did not disappoint! A good experience is only good if it's also consistent. We tried a different range of the menu and everything we had was amazing. If you get the seafood platter, the pesto dip that comes with it is very tasty. I would highly recommend getting the artichoke appetizer even just so you have the garlic aioli dip as well. Yes the dip is the good it's worth ordering the appetizer just for that. Service and dessert were also even better than last time. For dessert, the Apple Gallete was my personal favorite.

Solid brunch spot with a nice ambiance. Some tables go hard on the mimosas so I can get a bit loud. Good portions for sharing or taking leftovers home Been here for dinner too and it's a classy Italian joint worth visiting

My favorite Restaurant in Pleasanton! Beautiful setting for a date night. Great food, great service! Prices are very reasonable. Never disappointed, will be back for sure!

BRead and oil/balsamic on the table asap. Delicious. I had the apple cranberry iceberg lettuce salad. It was very good and the water was very refreshing and definitely filtered this place. Makes for a very enjoyable lunch.

Baci is one of our favorite Italian places in downtown Pleasanton. It is a relatively small restaurant that has been able to keep a casual but elegant atmosphere. The building is part of Pleasanton's culture. Originally the brick building was a bank. I have been told the vault still exists in the basement. The servers are nicely dressed. The tables have white linens with fresh white butcher paper. The high ceiling supports modern rustic chandeliers. Outside seating is very popular and fronts onto Main Street. We had the Tuna Tartare, Cranberry salad and Scallops. The chef does a good job selecting quality ingredients and presents them tastefully. We had the exotic Bomba for dessert. Think several flavors of ice cream coated with white chocolate and drizzled with dark chocolate. We normally don't do dessert but this one pleased us nicely. If you want some great Italian food in a causal elegant setting give Baci Bistro a try. Some of the attached pictures are from previous visits.

We went for brunch on a Saturday. There was no wait to be seated. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It wasn't too busy inside so it was quiet while we were there. Service was ok it seemed like our waiter may have been bartending too. I got a chicken with Alfredo sauce and veggies. It was really good the chicken was crispy and flavorful. This was a big portion I was able to take half of it for dinner. My boyfriend got the BLAT and he really liked it too. I got a strawberry drink it was strong and a hint of sweet. He got a mimosa good size. They have sourdough bread to start with. I make sourdough at home so I am a bit more critical on the bread but it was good and they give a good amount of bread. I have been wanting to try this place and I am glad we did. Overall we liked the lunch and brunch menu and we will be back to try other items.

What a cute place in downtown. Came here for brunch. We chose to sit outside. It was a lovely day. There are also seats inside. It was busy for Saturday so make reservations. Staff was friendly. Portions are huge. I enjoyed my California eggs Benedict. I loved my sangria.

I came here for a work event. We rented what I would classify as the "tea room" next to the main bar. The decoration felt very "high tea." Servers were fine, appetizers were good. My main, which was a special called "Romeo & Juliet " consisted of noodles with a white sauce, shrimp, and steak. Unfortunately the taste left a lot to be desired. Overall an okay experience.

Great food - great service - we have been customers for several years and always get a the best service and delicious food . We always enjoy the atmosphere and highly recommend this restaurant.

DoorDash delivery.
Aletta A.

Catching up on my reviews here. I ordered DoorDash delivery a few months ago. I ordered the spaghetti bolognese and the grilled artichoke appetizer. The food was good, but I had the following complaints. For $17, you would think they'd be serving a normal sized artichoke, not the mini sized ones. With a total bill of $55 for spaghetti and a mini artichoke, you would also think they'd give you bread or parmesan cheese or even utensils. Being that the value and service are not considered when thinking of customer satisfaction or retention, no way I'll be ordering again. The prices are insane! For these prices, I'd expect whatever I ordered to be close to amazing, and well.... I'll just say that prices should be definitely be reduced

You had me at billion dollar!! What a fantastic afternoon for a double celebration of birthdays!! And of course brunch is always best! The rose we had paired wonderfully with what everyone ordered - Ballerina Brut rose - The Star of the show for me was the BILLION DOLLAR BENEDICT! Filet and lobster smothered in a light and delicious hollandaise - chefs kiss!! The meal was topped off with a rich brownie compliments of the restaurant for my mom and the besties birthdays!! It was such a wonderful afternoon with fantastic service! Thanks for making the day special!

We went to Baci for dinner at 5 before going to a show at the firehouse arts center. Although they misplaced or reservation, they seated us right away. Although the restruant was crowded the sound level was average and the dining room was comfortable. The server was attentive. He checked on us through our meal. He split our bill quickly and efficiently when we asked him to at the end of our meal. The food was tasty. I had the eggplant Parmesan. The eggplant was not too soft. The seasonings were balanced. The scallops were delicious. They were cooked perfectly. We all had desserts. The portions were generous. I am sure we will be back.

I would come back for an appetizer and maybe a cocktail if in the area again.

Of all the places I researched, this was the only one that was willing to do a full sit down meal (as opposed to a buffet). The restaurant is very pretty (and photogenic) and there was plenty of space for our guests to mingle before the food service began. The food was outstanding as were the desserts. We couldn't have been more pleased with how our party turned out. I highly recommend Elia if you are looking for an excellent meal or party venue.

The inside is dimly lit and decorated elegantly. I liked the inclusion of honeycombs in the lighting fixtures and even the ice in my drink. The darks and golds almost give Great Gatsby vibes. We all ordered a different cocktail from their signature menu. I got the Electric Nectar. The drink was a little tart and sour. The Buzzed & Bougie was very floral, and The Cusco Comb had a nice balance of flavors. Out of the 3, the Electric Nectar was probably the strongest in terms of tasting the alcohol. I don't particularly prefer sour drinks. If I were to re-order, I would get the Cusco Comb, as it fits my taste profile the most. We also ordered the Burrata to share. It came with 6 pieces of toast, which was perfect and divided evenly among the 3 of us. The burrata was delicious. The cherry gastrique added a nice touch of sweetness without being overly sweet. As time progressed, more and more people came in. By the time we left, the lounge was pretty filled.

Here's what we tried: Cusco Comb (1000/10): Absolutely one of the best cocktails I've ever had. It was sweet, strong, and incredibly smooth without the alcohol being overpowering. I loved it so much that I immediately ordered a second one. I would honestly come back just for this drink alone. Honeycomb After Dark (9/10): Such a fun twist on an espresso martini! It reminded me of a Vietnamese coffee with a boozy kick. As the ice cream melted, the drink became even creamier and more delicious. Gin & Tonic (6/10): I'm not personally a gin and tonic fan, but my sister really enjoyed it. She thought the ratio of gin to tonic was spot on. Fries (6/10): Super crispy with a great texture, but they were a little too salty for my taste. The only downside is that there's only one bathroom, so keep that in mind if it's busy. If you're looking for a great spot to grab drinks in downtown, I highly recommend this speakeasy. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the cocktails are outstanding, and the service is consistently excellent. I'd probably skip the food next time and eat somewhere else beforehand, then come here to enjoy the amazing drinks.
