The Fam and I were on our way to Great Wolf Lodge for The Little One's birthday. We needed a place to stop for dinner. Glasshouzz was on the way and I've always wanted to try it since seeing it on Yelp. We're really glad we did. First off, it's located in a plaza NEXT TO the Livermore outlets. From the map view, we almost thought it was in the outlets. We were pleasantly surprised to discover this whole plaza even existed! There are so many good-looking restaurants here! So many options to try for next time. We visited on a weeknight during off-peak hours, so there wasn't any wait at all. The decor inside is modern and elegant, and the servers were incredibly friendly. We accidentally missed the front entrance so actually walked toward what we thought was the front door, which was actually the back door, but the staff still kindly opened that back entrance for us and got us situated right away. The menu had a really solid selection: - Tac Tac Tacos: the Mrs. Ordered these. Tender flavorful succulent chicken with a hint of spice, served in fluffy bao-style clamshell buns. Nice fusion touch! The buns tasted fresh and soft, almost melt-in-your-mouth compared the versions I've had at Chinese restaurants. Makes me think they make these fresh in-house. - Applewood Smoked Salmon: I ordered these for myself. They came from the "protein-packed" section on the menu. Can you believe they have it? It was perfect and summer diet compliant for me. All meals from the protein pack section come with vegetables, and mashed potatoes. They also had a chicken breast and lamb option. After eating chicken breast all week, I decided to switch it up for the salmon, which was cooked perfectly. I'm talking soft and flaky. You could really taste the applewood smoked flavor. The mashed potatoes were smooth and really melted in your mouth. TBH , I had to hold myself back from finishing them. - Mac n' Cheese: For The Little One. Because she won't eat anything else -_-. It came from their section kids meals, but was quite delicious, even by adult standards. The Mrs. and I made sure to sample some. The serving size was great. Shared a few dishes and loved my huge blue lagoon spritz mocktail. - Chef's loaded fries: 5/5 my favorite bite by far, crispy potato spirals in a cheesy sauce - Lexitini penne: 4/5 tandoori flavors but didn't really stand out much to me after the tasty chefs fries. Not that much chicken when we added it on, I realized later I didn't even eat a single piece. - Champignon risotto: 4/5 Both me and my friend lowkey read this as chanterelle mushroom risotto and had to check the menu when the dish came out. Ok so first impression this looks like a restaurant disaster show because the place was a little empty (granted it was like 5pm), and it's huge. I expected Gordon Ramsey to come in screaming at any moment. Then the menu was like...all over the place?! Like having an identity crisis. Anyway we got a few pizzas and a side of curly fries and also the salmon plate and well that shut me up quick. Everything was so good, especially the salmon! It was our first time at this spot, and we visited during a weekday lunch. Surprisingly, it was still busy considering its tucked away in the corner of Tri-Valley.... definitely a sign that people enjoy this place! While shopping at the outlets we decided to have dinner before we headed home and so glad I stopped here. We thought this was just going to stop by a casual pizza place but this place has a very upscale and fancy feel to it. The service was amazing and welcoming and friendly! The food was delicious and full of flavor and yumminess! The calamari was delightful and perfectly cooked. The dipping sauces were delicious as well and paired perfectly with the calamari ! Best calamari and sauce I've had in some time. Now for the pizza was delicious and tasted great and homemade and just overall impressed with the texture and flavor of it! We decide to venture out and check out the outlets in Livermore. Once we shopped a bit we got a little hungry and decided to find a nice spot in the area. The Glasshouzz was so delicious. I am so glad that we decided to stop here and eat. We had the calamari which was Perfect with the tasty sauces it was all amazing. We ordered the 14 inch pepperoni pizza and I was only gonna have two slices, but I ended up having three, it was a perfect Pizza after a hard day of shopping . I was excited to try this place as it's new. We were seated quick with no wait. It wasn't busy even though we were there on Memorial Day. We got pizza and salad. I love Ceaser salad and understand there's anchovies but the taste of the dressing was overwhelming with anchovies it's all I could taste. The pizza was good a small was good even for my mom and I to share and good flavor. They do not have a full liquor license so all the drinks are wine, champs, or soju. I did not feel like the drinks were worth the price. The service was ok in the beginning it was good then we sat there while the server was talking to her co worker and making boxes. I honestly don't know how this place has any reviews with less than 5 stars. The vibe and customer service alone deserve 5 stars. I ordered the Lexitini Penne, and wow -- it might just be the best pasta I've ever had! The sauce had the perfect amount of kick, coating every bite with bold rich flavor. And the garlic bread? Absolute perfection, and packed with that irresistible garlicky goodness. My daughter went with the mac and cheese, and she didn't leave a single bite behind creamy, cheesy, and comfort food at its finest. My husband and son shared a medium pizza (generous enough to feed a family of four!) with half pepperoni and half Hawaiian, and it was cooked to perfection with a perfectly crisp crust and gooey, melty cheese. We had a great time at this new restaurant. Visited with a few friends and we got to taste a few different dishes. The best thing that evening was our server (an adorable lady), jaw dropping beautiful mocktails and some hit and miss entrees. I'll start with the mocktails, all beautiful and all very yummy. If you want to drink calories, you want them to look this good. I ordered a milkshake (was told they use Blue Bunny icecream), it was orange creamsicle and I asked for some chocolate sauce blended in- it turned out ok. I finished it nevertheless. Their menu is fusion. For the entrees, my favorite was their Lexi sauce pasta with paneer. The pasta sauce was very much a butter masala sauce. I didn't expect to like it but it was surprisingly good on the palate. I appreciated the fact that they weren't stingy on the paneer. The Arrabiata sauce pasta was ok, could have used more veggies. The pesto pizza left much to be desired- everything felt wrong with it- too cheesy, too salty. Maybe we just got a not so good one. Didn't take any food pics, as it was gone too fast. The restaurant is very well decorated and has a pleasing decor. Not overly crowded yet, maybe not a lot of people know about it yet. Wanted to try something different after outlet shopping. Was able to walk in at 7ish on a Saturday night with no wait. We were seated in a comfortable half booth seat. It's really nice on the inside as far as aesthetically. There was ample seating in the restaurant and it was nice and lit up. We opted for the small 8" ultimate meats pizza (4 slices) , champignon truffle Alfredo & chef loaded fries but changed it to curly fries. They have these taco bun things on the menu as an appetizer which we ordered, and I think I got my hopes too high- they were just okay. Same goes for the pasta... it just wasn't super flavorful. Overall a lackluster meal. The restaurant is beautiful, but the service is slow and the food is nothing to write home about. We ordered the buffalo wings which were supposed to come as a dry rub. Instead we got a basket of wings with buffalo dipping sauce on the side. The wings didn't taste like they were seasoned at all. We asked no corn but they put the corn on anyways so was a bit annoyed with that. Got a Coca Cola which turned out to be flat. Not too thrilled with the service. Walking in the door and we were greeted by the young lady behind the counter and quickly seated at a table, no wait at all. Ambience is very casual laid-back Ordered our food and got some extras to share. We waited and waited and it seemed like the food took a while to come out, but, no worries. The food was freshly made and everything was delicious and tasty. Really loved it here! My friend and I stopped by Glasshouzz after a morning of wine tasting and were hungry for a good meal. Glasshouzz delivered! We went during an off meal time so they weren't too busy and we were seated immediately. I love their indoor/outdoor vibe, especially during the nice sunny days in Livermore. They have a lot of seating inside along with a pretty large space outside. We shared the ultimate meats pizza and the lexitini pasta. Both great choices! The 8" pizza was perfect to split for 2 and the pasta was so flavorful. It was a great portion to share but truthfully, I liked it so much I definitely would've finished it if I had it on my own. There's a lot of different options here too. You can even go for their specific "protein packed" options if you're trying to be on the healthier side. I'm honestly shocked by the low reviews. We eat out frequently and our experience at this restaurant was like a breath of fresh air. We had 0 complaints, all enjoyed our food (even my 16month old devoured their Mac n cheese.) Even the staff was charming and very attentive. Also, they are truly kid friendly. They have booths with extra wiggle room for the kiddos, provide high chairs, children's suction plates and plastic to go cups with lids for kids. We had the kids Mac n cheese, spaghetti bolognese, Champignon Alfredo (with chicken added as suggested by our waiter) and the Tac Tac Tacos. Everything was fantastic. We were filled and ended up taking almost half of each meal home. As for the cocktails, they are extremely playful. I had the Poolside Spritz and really enjoyed it. Cute place with lots of seating. We decided to check it out since it's new. It's over by the Livermore outlets, but not the main outlet area. It's tucked away by the hotels so I hope they get a good amount of business. The food we tried was tasty; veggie wrap and lamb wrap (both came with curly fries), honey chili potato, and the tac tac tacos. We also tried their cocktail and mocktails. Our server was fantastic and very friendly. We got there early so it wasn't super busy. There were a few other tables that came through while we were there. Lots of options. Glasshouzz is a hidden gem across the street from the outlet mall in Livermore. We were able to make a reservation online easily. This was my first time in the Republic Square shopping center. When we first arrived, we were the only party, but after we began eating, more parties sat down. The seating was open and we chose a table inside. They have a large door that opens up the restaurant to their connected outdoor patio. The interior is modern and the high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows create a very beautiful ambiance especially around sunset. They serve house bread with butter. The bread could be a bit elevated if it were warm, but they have olive oil and balsamic at the table. My family ordered the Caesar Salad and the GF Caprese. We enjoyed both salads! The dressings were light but paired perfectly with the romaine hearts. I ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara. The portion size was generous and it came with a piece of garlic bread. We ordered an 18" Ultimate Meats pizza and an 8" Greek Island pizza. We liked the Ultimate Meats pizza, the crust was cooked perfectly. We found the white sauce on the Greek Island pizza a bit rich for our tastes, but the flavors complimented well. We also ordered a tiramisu to end the night and a cookie and cream milkshake to go. The tiramisu was very creamy and the coffee flavor shined through with a hint of alcohol. I do wish that the water was chilled (it was room temp), but at our request, our server brought us a cup of ice. We definitely plan on coming back! They also have cocktails, mocktails, and drinks that make Glasshouzz a nice place to catch up with friends or have a cute date night out at. The place is very nice looking. The food on the other hand, is sub-par. I ordered water and got a glass pitcher so I could give myself refills. Totally didn't mind that. But, there was no ice. I'm going to be honest--the name of the restaurant threw me off. The sign said "Pizza, Salads, and Snacks," so I assumed they sold pizza by the slice. However, upon entering, I realized it was a sit-down establishment. We shared a Caesar salad, a pepperoni rustic pizza, and a truffle penne Alfredo pasta. We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious all three dishes were! While the restaurant was only moderately busy, our server seemed a bit overwhelmed, though she was very sweet and attentive to our needs. A particularly thoughtful touch was when she offered a small "Happy Birthday" banner for my husband after we inquired about candles for our cake. ​ ​We ordered a wide variety of dishes to get a full sense of the menu. The crispy chili potatoes, tac tac taco, fried chicken, Alfredo pasta, risotto, and chicken masala sandwiches all made their way to our table, along with three different pizzas: the LexiTini, chicken delight, and mushroom truffle. ​The food overall was quite yummy, with some clear standouts. The chicken masala sandwiches were absolutely the best thing we ordered. The Alfredo pasta, risotto, and crispy chili potatoes were also excellent and highly recommended. ​Unfortunately, not everything was a hit. The pizzas were a big disappointment, especially since I had high hopes for them. The truffle mushroom and chicken delight pizzas were both extremely heavy on the cheese, while the LexiTini had surprisingly little. The biggest letdown, however, was the fried chicken. It was not visually appealing and tasted overly salty--we were very unimpressed. It was so bad that I would honestly recommend removing it from the menu completely. ​ ​Dessert was also a bit of a letdown. We tried all of them, but they were quite "blah." The cannoli fusion didn't work for us at all. The lava cake and tiramisu showed some potential, but there is definitely a lot of room for growth in the dessert department. ​Glasshouzz has a lot of potential. While the food and service were a bit inconsistent, the standout dishes were genuinely delicious, and the staff was lovely despite being busy. I'm usually one to never write reviews or write negative ones at that. I came here with a girlfriend for lunch today. We had good service, grabbed two mocktails (great) and had two starters--Caesar salad and the potatoes. The salad was good, and the potatoes tasted crispy and were coated in a spicy orange glaze (think Panda Express orange chicken). The main issue comes from the kitchen for the entrees. I ordered a crab risotto and she ordered a seafood alfredo and requested to add chicken for more protein. 1. Crab risotto: not arborio rice, just standard rice, creamed. And imitation crab, just peeled into strips over the meal (listed as crab flakes on the menu). The portion was huge (great if enjoy this type of dish) but the quality of the meal was easily a 0/5. We sent this back. I took one to two bites but it was terrible. 2. Seafood Alfredo: the protein in this was just frozen mini shrimp. We thought it was different than it was rotini pasta but my friend said it was good. So no complaints other than the frozen shrimp. These were two of the most expensive entrees on the menu. The server tried to downplay it and say he was out on vacation and had no idea what this was... but previous reviews also said it was imitation crab. I can't speak to the rest of the menu, but it was just disappointing that this was our first experience here and we won't be back. read more

In a world where everything feels so pre-packaged and transactional, Glass Houzz is a breath of fresh air. The atmosphere is casual, but the food is way more elevated than the surroundings would cause you to expect. High quality, elegant and delicious. You can roll in foot sore from shopping and have an amazing meal for a very reasonable price. I had the mushroom risotto and it was the best I'd ever had. A neighboring table ordered a pizza so gorgeous that I ordered the exact same one to take home. It tasted even better than it looked. The service was as warm and genuine as the food. Our server Oscar is just the best human and was the very opposite of transactional. On my way out, I was told I was welcome to come back anytime - even if it was just to charge my phone. It was a rare and beautiful thing to be treated as a friend in a place I've never been before. If I lived closer, I'd go there every weekend. As it is, I'll be making this a regular destination.
