    Awesome wines
    Kristen N.

Nicole and Katy are amazing! Family owned and operated and it's just a wonderful spot and the wines.....well they speak for themselves! We loved the 100% Zin and Petite Sirah and then they do a 50/50 blend of zin and petite sirah that is off the charts and it's called Fondare! Their 2022 Rose of Pinot Noir was my favorite Rose from any Vineyard this year by far! The essence of strawberry when it's poured was delightful! And got to try their Goddard Pinot today for the first time and loved that too!!! Just so many delicious wines to choose from and as I said Nicole and Katy are so nice to spend your afternoon with them both! Oh and don't forget their resident cat, Leo, who we love!!! He comes and says hello and if we ask real nice he may join your tasting!! lol

Solid wines from a 3-generation winery. Elegant Chardonnays, but the sleeper here is the small-production petit Syrah

This a beautiful tucked away winery, beautiful views and peace atmosphere. First time wine tasting at this location my favorite was the the 2017 Pinot Noir but I should say that all of their wines have a distinct taste. The Petite Zirah was very good as well, customer service is excellent and I do believe one can stop by and buy a bottle of wine and sit outside and enjoy a picnic but they do offer a board with cold cuts n nuts (Baci Board) the winery's atmosphere is very inviting. I will most definitely come back when the weather is nicer a do another tasting and hopefully I will see the twins next time. Highly recommend this winery out in the West Side Rd area.

Beautiful welcome to the pinot and paella event

Located on westside road, we found bacigalupi vineyard by going to the source of the grapes for many of our favorite wines. The Bacigalupis are farmers who now make their own wines. And the wines are delicious! Katey and Nicole are twin sister's who now run their winery. All of their wines are very good, from the rose of zinfandel, rose of pinot noir, chardonnay, pinot noirs, zinfandel, petite syrah, or Fondare (blend of petite syrah and zinfandel). Yum! Definitely a fun stop for us, especially as we became wine club members a few years ago. This year, we were able to attend their pinot and paella event! What a blast!

Nicole and Rachel - thank you

I have wanted to go here for a long time - very famous family name here in the valley. Very understated grounds and tasting room but no surprise, the wines were very good. As long time grape growers, surely they save the best for themselves!?! We loved their Rose of Zinfandel - and brought a couple bottles home . Perfect for this hot weather. Also enjoyed the two Pinot's we tried - the 2014 Bacigalupi and the 2014 Frost Ranch - both a bit pricey for my wallet but probably well worth it for the more serious wine collector. thanks to Rachel and Nicole, our servers - for their attentiveness. A must stop when you are in the area!

I came here because these are the same people that nurture the Bacigalupi vineyard. I've enjoyed 2007 and 2008 zinfandels from William Selyem that sourced from Bacigalupi. John Tyler Wines are much better vineyard managers than winemakers. The tasting room is very comfortable and the pourers bring their dog (see pic) that clearly has run of the house. The room is accessed through a short gravel road that runs along a pretty creek. The tasting fee is $10 which $5 is waived for one bottle and $10 for two bottles purchased.

We stepped in without an appointment and they welcomed us in. I have enjoyed several wines sourced from the Bacigalupi family so we thought it time to visit the source. I'm so glad we did because the wine was fantastic. They were down to their last few cases of Rose so should have been a priority. However, the Chardonnay was so good it made me wonder if it was comparable to Montelana's winner vs the French in 1976, in which Bacigalupi was the primary source. Rachael was assisting us and Nicole helped because we're a needy group, but hopefully everyone had fun. We even talked about beer of all things.

I made reservations for two adults and two young teenagers on a Tuesday morning and were the first guests to arrive that day. We were greeted with a welcome glass and were told they were setting up our table. That gave us enough time to do a couple of selfies and within minutes, we were escorted inside. Season Leef was our host/wine ambassador that morning and we loved her energy, attention to detail and how she treated us like we were members of the MacRostie Winery/family. She was more about understanding our palettes and pouring us what we gravitated towards to showcase the vast portfolio Heidi (winemaker) has been able to produce. Usually not a fan of Chardonnays but it was a neat experience tasting different variables and how each one is slightly different. We know we like Pinot Noirs so when we started diving into the reds, thats when we started figuring out what we liked. Ended up purchasing a bottle of their 2022 Nightwing Vineyard 828 Clone Pinot Noir :chefkiss: My two young teens are used to being at wineries with us so they're pretty good about keeping themselves occupied on their own (even with out devices). But, I really appreciated that Season brought over some paper and a pack of markers for them since they both still like to draw. Plus, we had a couple of good sessions of tic tac toe while we sipped and took our time. We had a great experience here thanks to Season! Seeing that they're dog friendly, we'll bring our 4 legged family member next time.

I've had cheese and cracker experiences in wine tasting before, but this experience was a stand out with their perfectly curated arrangements of small bites that paired so well with the wines we were presented. Having the food pairing with the wines really felt like it brought out an elevated level of wine tasting because most wine is enjoyed with food when you take it home. The team really worked hard to make sure this tasting was unique and we found each bite to hold its own experience.
