Instead, I was offered 50% off a future service, which sidesteps the actual issue -- that I should not have been charged the full $130 in the first place. Had the situation been handled with any consideration for the circumstances, a $65 charge would have more than covered the therapist's hourly rate and reflected basic fairness. This kind of experience is exactly why longtime residents of Mount Pleasant feel increasingly alienated by businesses that prioritize rigid policy over community and basic human decency -- treating loyal neighbors like transactions rather than people.

This is now my third negative interaction with him -- he has been consistently rude and dismissive, and during my most recent visit he spoke to me in an inappropriate and embarrassing way in front of other customers. Customer-facing staff -- especially someone in a leadership role -- should not behave this way. I'm sharing this because it needs to be addressed. No customer should feel disrespected when coming in for a service. The therapists are excellent, but the front desk experience needs serious improvement.
