This is my new favorite place, from the staff to the facilities. I suffer from really bad back problems, along with a list of other ailments and I always walk out of there feeling like a million bucks. I see Dr Jake for my Chiro needs and he is the best doc I've ever seen. My favorite massage therapist are Janelle and Cindy, who provide an outstanding massage. Cindy is an amazing and very professional massage therapist. I've been seeing her for over 5 years and continues to do a phenomenal job. She is very detailed when massaging your problematic area and I love how she explains what she is doing on you that gives you a better understanding on preventing Injuries. Recently I experienced a horrible car accident and my lower back was in pain. I went to urgent care and the emergency room to seek a remedy for my lower back pain. Unfortunately my pain is still there and getting worse. I despise taking any medications due to side effects that comes with pills. When I was around 6/7 years old, my left hand got slammed in a heavy door and I swore I broke my finger and destroyed my growth plates in my pinky. I told Dr. Kim about the pinky, showed him how crooked it was and he said something to the effect of: lets try and straighten this out. Guess what, after just one session my left pinky is almost the same length as my right (was a good 1/4 inch shorter), its not as crooked and I have more movement than I have had in almost two decades. Not only that, but this miracle worker has been helping me with my sciatica that I have been dealing with (quite unsuccessfully prior to going to him) for ten years. I've also had maybe two cluster headaches-which I would get approximately twice a month or more-since going to Back on Point for the last 4.5 months and getting help from Dr. Kim and Gio (a fantastic massage therapist, go see him). He was very intuitive with my body and made sure I was comfortable while still stretching out my problem areas. I left feeling fresh and a few inches taller. Dr. Kim is amazing! I never thought I would need to go to the chiro or get massages because I don't do anything "physical" at work but holy cow..after coming here I've made a promise to myself and well-being to come at least twice a month. He adjusted me & was able to notice I was under a lot of stress just within a few seconds. He took his time and did a lot of stretches with me. My favorite masseuse is Patty and I've recommended her to a few people I know. I've had good massages before but with her I totally felt the difference. She leaves me feeling relaxed & stress free every time. I wish I could see her every week! Everyone else in the staff is very friendly & the office is super clean & I love the zen feeling overall. I've been meaning to find the time to get a consultation in regards to my back/spine. My friends highly recommended me to come here. I was a bit nervous since I didn't know what to expect, but after meeting Dr. Kim, I knew I was in good hands! Since it was my first consultation ever, Dr. Kim asked me various questions about previous back pains I've experienced, my posture and life habits. Once the adjustment began, he was able to diagnose various life habits of mine that I didn't even disclose and it was solely based on my posture and spine! I am a Jiujitsu athlete and needed a good adjustment. I was introduced to this place by a family friend. The staff is professional and welcoming. The place is clean and tidy. The wait is not long at all. (Even if it was a long wait, I'm ok with it). They also Sanitize equipment after use. My body felt so Oss-some after the adjustment. Highly recommend Dr. Kim for any joint/nerve pains. I had really bad sciatic pains in my hips during the 3rd trimester of my pregnancy, and after just one session of acupuncture and chiro, the pain was immediately relieved. I continued to go back to Dr. Kim for routine maintenance throughout my pregnancy and had a fairly smooth pregnancy. For acupuncture, his office has the most comfortable heated bed for ultimate relaxation. Dr. Kim really helped me mentally (with relaxation treatment) and physically throughout my pregnancy and even postpartum, his herbs helped with my recovery. I went back for my massage and was highly recommended to see Cindy and all I can say is wow! She asked me where my aches and pains were and where she should focus on the most. This has been the best deep tissue massage that I have ever received and I've had a lot of massages in my life time. I have had therapeutic massages before at various places but getting one from Patty here at Back On Point cannot compare. She focused on areas where I had lots of tension and tightness while applying the right amount of pressure.
