    The coolest faux fire...
    Michelle M.

Really so good. The atmosphere was great. The faux flame was "fire". Sorry for the pun. But it really was so cool. It was incredibly warm even for me and I'm ALWAYS cold. But the service was pretty good and attentive. The sushi was yummy. And, of course, the Korean bbq. What's not to love. I do think it was a little... different... that we cooked our own mussels at the table. I just assumed they would come cooked. There is a separate bar for sauces and what not. A great experience over all. This is AYCE and worth the money. The bathrooms were fine and there is a lot for parking.

A combination of Korean bbq and sushi with the added challenge of an AYCE menu, this modern, open space adds to the popular K-bbq scene. Decorative "smoke" sets the scene as you walk in with spacious tables. There are grills at each table and the staff were fairly quick to replace the grills once each round of meat had cooked. There are a few banchan (Korean side dishes) you can order for the table, but unlike other restaurants, you will not be automatically given an array of banchan. Also, there is no rice automatically served, which is fine bc if you order sushi there is plenty of rice under the fish. Also, why eat rice at an AYCE???? We had the short ribs, pork belly, spicy pork belly, and tongue. The marinade for the short ribs and spicy pork was fine for AYCE but the flavors could be better - less pepper and more soy sauce and gochujjang. We also ordered a variety of rolls and sushi - a little heavy on the rice but that's what I've come to expect at an AYCE where it leans towards quantity over quality. There is a section off to the side for soup (I also passed), fruit, and dessert. Not a bad addition to the Asian food scene in the west burbs. I'd give it 3.5 stars but I'll round up for attentive service.

First time dining here! The food was delicious, and some of my favorites: the fish in the tin, very flavorful Godzilla Roll Spicy Salmon Roll or crunch salmon - delicious I loved the Korean BBQ sauce for dipping too Service was excellent and we will be back!

I honestly don't do Korean BBQ all the time, but this is one of the better Korean BBQs that I've been to. It's a bit far from where I live in Chicago, but the trip to Hanover park might be worth it for the ACYE. Not only do get an all you can eat meats and veggies, but you can order all you can eat sushi as well. First, the food and ingredients for the BBQ are very good. I felt the meat, veggies and seafood I ordered to grill were high quality and tasty. I didn't order a lot of the sushi, but I liked what I did order. Second, the atmosphere is fun and exciting. While a little dark, the restaurant plays K-pop and J-pop music videos projected onto the restaurant wall non-stop. It made dinner that much more fun. Lastly, the service was great. Our waitress was attentive, but also gave space to cook and didn't apply pressure to leave or eat more quickly. In sum, this is must visit Korean BBQ AYCE restaurant, especially for sushi aspect.

34 dollars for ayce with friendly quick service Currently in soft opening 5/11/25 - some drinks are bogo They also provide info on how to cook things if you are unsure. They have the grill that sucks the air out the side so it is much less on your clothes Much bigger and modern place than I expected when I looked at it outside. Most tables 4-6 ppl easily and there are about 6 on each side of each aisle x 4 aisles. There is also this cool fire effect between the rows that is basically just smokeless smoke. I can't think of the word right now, like evaporated air. There is a self serve area that has some dessert, fruit, sauces, and soup Most things you order, you can tell them how many pieces, so it lets you try a bunch of stuff *'s are my faves The mushroom soup was not that flavorful. Spicy Pork Belly is a bunch of various spices, so lots of flavor with the spice. Quite complex, but i didn't like the texture that is a bit more sandy. But it's great flavor. *Pork Belly is nice, fatty, and tender. *Steak Ribs w/ Black Pepper Sauce (basically galbi even though it's described otherwise). It's sweet, and fatty and tender. Beef Tongue - a bit chewy Cheese Mussel - cheesy mussels, it's pretty good, i prefer the garlic *Prawn w garlic - nice shrimp cut in half, topped with garlic (you choose how much yourself) Mini Sausage - nothing special *Fish Tofu - quite good, a nice chew, a bit of flavor brought out by grilling it, surprisingly good *Mussel with garlic (they describe this and the shrimp as a garlic sauce, it's kinda like garlic in oil) - nice tender mussel with great garlic to bring out the flavor Shitake mushroom - these were more like regular mushrooms, go for the king mushroom instead *Onion - nice to bring some extra flavor to meats - go snappy (barely cooked) or go mushy (grilled onion) Pineapple - not as good as at brazillian places, but i might not know how to cook it dried tofu - um these were unappetizing to look at and really dry, kinda flavorless *King mushroom - great texture, just enough chew to make it something significant *tin foil fish fillet - basically fish in butter, it was super tender (don't overcook it), and quite flavorful, very cleansing *creamy corn kernals corn and cheese, simple yet yum, it's nice to counter some of the fattiness of meats sushi - i'd skip the nigri (single piece stuff) except the smoked salmon eel - decent but not the best i have had, more reliant on the sauce than the flavor of the eel white tuna - does not taste the freshest *smoked salmon - nice smokiness salmon - it was not the freshest note there are some - i just realized - that have no picture brown sugar milk tea - not much better than the stuff i can get in a can at an asian grocery store - only worth since it was bogo, def not worth 6 bucks full price, about 14 oz? seafweed salad on the bar was not that good, it didn't taste fresh, i didn't even finish the small amount i took tiramisu cake (it's white ish) was excellent, soft, pillowy, sweet, and that hit of coffee taste check comes in a cute box, it's a touch of class

The vibe in this place is amazing. Well organized and efficient to make your dining experience enjoyable. If you like sushi and don't mind grilling meat and vegetables at your table, this is a great place to meet. My brother loved it for his birthday prices are reasonable too.

A young staff member or manager came to our table to explain that they don't have separate pricing for children. My 7 and 10 year olds were charged full adult prices simply because management decided our table ordered "too much" for an AYCE setup. When you run an All-You-Can-Eat restaurant, you accept the model: some guests eat less, some eat more, but everyone pays a fixed, predictable rate. Instead of honoring that, the staff actually argued with me, literally saying, "You already ordered $200 worth of sushi for $100, what more do you want?" It is completely unprofessional and rude to speak to paying customers that way. It doesn't matter how much a table orders, you can't advertise AYCE and then complain that people are eating. To make matters worse, he claimed they never advertised kids' prices. They actually don't list any prices period! Their AYCE menu doesn't have prices for adults or children. Money isn't the issue here, I will gladly pay for our meal. The issue is a predatory business practice that lacks transparent pricing and instead invents rates on the fly based on how much you eat. If you have kids, beware of their antics and avoid this place.

It's just a bunch of booths and tables and could probably use a bit more lighting. The service was great - very attentive server and filled our water each time it was needed The food was OK. While dinner is a bit pricey at $28.99, it's definitely worth it if you plan on ordering more than a couple of rolls and an appetizer. The service has always been excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, the food comes out quickly, and the restaurant is consistently clean. One small detail I appreciate is that the water tastes great, which might sound strange, but I've noticed that some Asian restaurants have water with an off taste. I'm not very picky when it comes to sushi rolls, but some of my favorites here are the Spicy Salmon Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Fire Dragon Roll, and Pretty Girl Roll. I clearly have a weakness for spicy rolls and anything with jalapeños! Generally, the ingredients always taste fresh, and the rolls are well-balanced with the perfect ratio of rice to fillings. I've also tried the gyoza, the cream cheese rangoons, and the fried scallops. All were delicious, although I personally prefer rangoons that include crab. I also wish both the gyoza and rangoons had a bit more filling inside. The scallops are AMAZING, though, and easily my favorite appetizer I've tried here. Overall, this is a great spot for fresh sushi, friendly service, and a great AYCE experience.
