I was gifted a 90 minute massage for Mothers Day and really looking forward to it. I told the massage therapist that I sit at a computer 10+ hours daily and have lots of stress. Although he did a good enough job, he applied pressure I assume to tight muscles but there was no actual massage at any point. I kept thinking he would change it up and apply massage to the areas worked but that never happened. I was very disappointed in the experience. When asked how my massage was by the front desk person and I told her all of this, she said they make a decision as to what is best for the client and he must have thought what he did was best for me rather than what I wanted. It was a waste of 1.5 hours of my time and the hour drive not to mention taking the day off work to fit this in to my busy schedule. Now I am looking for another massage somewhere to make up for what I didn't get at BackFit. read more

I have lived with a fugg'd up spine almost all of my life. I have been to several different chiropractors in my life, and they were so beneficial in helping me get a perfectly normal spine curvature, but they are all so expensive that it was really difficult for me to get any long-term care at all the chiropractors I've ever been to. I was also aware that a daily yoga routine would help me get my spine straightened out [and get rid of the horrible slouching habit that still plagues me at almost 42 years old] before my experience being a client of BackFIT, which I have never really tried hard enough to get into a good yoga routine and make it a very fuckin' permanent new habit before BackFIT. The new thing that BackFIT has exposed me to is the inversion table. The inversion table is seen in almost every chiropractor's office and Physical Therapy facility in America. I'm almost certain that the inversion table was used on me a few times when I went to the chiropractor but I don't remember the actual inversion table experience until dum dum duh duh duh duhhhh ba dummm BackFIT, a Super Lucky Guess!! The inversion table is not actually the method used to decompress the lower spine inside of the bACKfit facility, funnily enough. The machine used by this company is called a *GASP!!!* decompression machine and it works differently than Lë Tåbłêåū Dù Iñvęrsïôń; the machine basically just pulls downward on the seatbelt that is strapped around my hips, no bloodrush to the face needed, none at all, due to not needing to be inverted to take advantage of the power of gravity that the Teeter Inversion Table has to make full use of to get it right, to get my wayward spine back to a normal position. The fourth part of the BackFIT Formula is the utilization of a masseuse that is skilled in Deep Tissue Massage--any other massage style is a waste of time for me. The right masseuse will work WONDERS, but you need to use your imagination muscles and picture your own weirdly shaped spine. The spine is not even holding itself in this bad, scoliosis'd out, compressed shape; nay, it is the muscles of your back that are holding the spine in place, the wrong place. The muscles are always spasming because they are too overburdened with holding the emotions of your hate, and anger and fear and sadisticaness and let's not forget about humiliation man that is a good one for fucking up your life. It's all stuck together inside your heart mind and lower back muscles. I kid you not, it's % Truth. You don't have to be its slave anymore. The deep tissue massage is not to be overlooked in any case. You broke as the poor trash you are now ? You kno, you don't care. You just find a way to pay for the deep tissue massage you want it, you need it, you're gonna be in a better place than before, do you have any idea what it feels like to have your deepest feelings locked into your lower back and every nerve point that is a cramp spot your back possesses, the pain all locks up in little tiny nerve points and the elbow that must jab deeply into these points hurt like the fattest fuck ever.. I can imagine how acupuncture would be effective, especially where the needles are penetrated into the spots where they stop the constant cramping and lots of pain that gets released from years and years ago and the joy of healing the emotions and the muscle tissue is screaming for help screaming for relief from the trauma of the past and the stress of being in nonstop spasmodic mode. I meant to say spasms this whole time not cramping. Those four things are what BackFIT does to you to heal your back. I never of ever doing all four things on my own. You can, though you don't have the capacity the clout the class the courage and the credentials on your own even tho the secret BackFIT formula is out ibspilled the whole bag of beans {in Steve Urkels voice} Did I do thaat .. ? You still need backfit's support for the first time in this program so do that and you can thank me (PROFUSELY, you will) Later. You will have Help and Support and Hope for the first goddamn time in your four decades suffering from a messed up back. You need BackFIT for real and you need it right now. read more

I'm afraid I won't do them justice because each person really needs to be listed. When we started, I'll admit that I was skeptical and a bit overwhelmed. But we have been coming for months now and I feel like I can give a better rounded opinion now. The initial visit was with a Chiropactor. He did a thorough evaluation, actually listened to spoken problEms and did a hands on exam for physical findings. They did preliminary xrays and reviewed it with you, then came up with a game plan. I've never been to a one stop shop before but this concept actually works. They offer physical therapy (exercises specific to you, Chiropactor services (expected), medical (which will check for deficiencies and allergies. Almost 50, and no one had ever done that for me before. You may think that if I never sought treatment before it must have meant I didn't need it. But after getting my B deficiencies treated and avoiding my sensitivities, I have never felt better. So I'm glad they didn't follow that logic. They also offer tends tx's, weight loss programs, massage, and so much more. The staff is friendly from the front to the back. Coming here was one of the worst decisions I ever made in my life. Dr Gomez was very informative and helpful but Dr Prisbrey was way too aggressive when adjusting my pelvis and tore a disc. My pain was bad before, but now I have an additional pain that has changed my lifestyle completely. I'm no longer able to walk the dog, pick up a guitar, set, go hiking, stand for too long, drive for a long period, I now use a stand up desk at work, and the list goes on. I had an MRI after leaving the chiropractor and it was stated that the Doctors were too aggressive with me, and I now have a tore disc on top of my other issues. I wouldn't recommend Back Fit to anyone as my lifestyle has been altered. read more

I bought on Group On for 90min massage but they just scheduled me for 60min then they rescheduled me to made up their mistake by giving me complimentary 60min massage but unfortunately i was in Sedona and completely forgot on this appointment. After that they rescheduled me for the second times but the timing wasn't as i expected, i'm no longer working from and can't make this appointment cz i haven't get off from work and this is a new job, i can't ask to get off early either. Lastly, they rescheduled me for the third times without giving me a noticed to pay in full by saying "unfortunately i can't honored this anymore, especially after 2 cancelations" Well, you didn't tell me earlier that the 60min you're giving me to covered it up your mistake is no longer available. I have never before experienced a comprehensive one stop shop. Dr Gomez was excellent in his providing info from the X-rays and examination. I have to say the same for the Dr David for PT, the PT techs, and the medical personnel. Everything is always discussed thoroughly to make sure I understand what is being done and why they recommend it, or against it. Everyone is understanding of my specific issues and takes care to ensure I get the care needed. even the receptionists take special care to great you by name every time they see you after your first arrival to help you feel cared for/about. This place is a thinly veiled cash grab. If you thought you could just step in for a quick adjustment you would be sorely mistaken. They insist that you have to sit through TWO HOURS of forms, tests interviews X-rays just to get to the part where you see a chiropractor. Of course it's all just an excuse to charge you (or your insurance) for a pile of superfluous tests. You're not even allowed to decline them.
