Server was friendly and very casual. I asked for her recommendation and was told their grilled chicken sandwich was pretty good. Also got the tumbleweeds with a side of spicy aoli to dip in. The food came out after a little bit of a wait, but not too long. Took pics and dug in. The tumbleweeds were cooked well but really lacked in any flavor beyond crispy breading. It really needed a dipping sauce to give it any real flavor. The spicy aoli had a little zip to it and helped though. The chicken was seasoned well but overcooked. The Swiss cheese didn't really add much so I scraped it off. Bacon wasn't crispy, was welded to the Swiss cheese so I just scraped it off with the cheese. The heirloom tomatoes and pickled red onions were very good. Lightly salted and sweet tomatoes and briny sweet onions really complimented the chicken and were welcome additions. Avocado was okay, fresh and presented well. The food wasn't bad, but it did have some stumbles. It's a great venue space, one of the few country bars in the state and is decked out well to be the primo spot for county. It's not a great restaurant, but it's serviceable food and a nice staff. If it can really sell the events and nail those, then the food can be simpler and still do well. For now though, it's okay.

Had to handle the entire restaurant on a Saturday afternoon by herself. Lead to some longer wait times, so make sure to have some time to spend. We got the empanada special, wings, some fries, and a couple of tacos to try. Food came out after a bit of a delay. Sat down and dug in. Best bite would be the fries. A very garlic forward fries with a weaker ketchup and creamy sauce called their "slam" sauce. I prefer double fried for a crispier fry texture, but they were fresh and I suspect brined to preserve look and give it a little crisp. Next was the wings, brined and smoked, the sauce was a bbq with a surprising amount of spice. Larger wings were cooked perfectly and juicy, smaller wings were a little dry. Avocado creama was nice, helped with the smaller wings and to take the edge off the heat. Empanadas were as promised. Small pieces of unseasoned steak and cheese. Peppers were too large, lead to some empanadas with just pepper and cheese. As a jalepeno popper empanadas it would be good, not so much as a steak and cheese. Dough was crispy but had a bit of chew. The beer queso had a lot of hops flavor, which overpowered anything dunked into it. Probably delicious after a few beers. The tacos were okay. The shrimp taco was the better of the two, shrimp were cooked well and the flavor profile was very light. With fried shrimp and remoulade you would expect heavier flavors, but it was actually quite light. The jerked chicken taco, chicken was cooked well, it had a strong jerk flavor with no spice nor heat, and the main flavors you got were pineapple and beans. Not the best taco. Coming in with the expectation of a restaurant that's not a taqueria and more a bar bites location, it's pretty good. The problem being that it is a taqueria, and those bites are the weakest bites they produce. Given the location, you'll be hard pressed to find a good taco place around. Go in expecting okay tacos, or pretty decent pub grub, and you'll be okay

The breakfast sandwiches were good enough. Eggs were cooked hard, white american cheese was melty and cheesy, roll was fresh, and the meats were cooked. There wasn't anything special about these sandwiches, but they were good for what they were. If you need a meal and want a basic sandwich, this place is more than capable of handling that type of request. The prices are actually pretty good, the portion is reasonable, and it's not bad.
