The selection for dogs and cats occupies most of the floor space but my three-legged guinea pig has gotten some great loot from Western Pet Supply. The products for dogs that they carry is impressive. If you're looking for a Ruffwear harness, they have multiple kinds. If you want a Jolly Egg, they have two different sizes. Looking for Ziwipeak, a premium dog food from New Zealand? How about a squeaky stuffed shark? Comfy, cozy beds? Expandable crates? Exercise pens that break down? Yeah... all those things, they have. And if they don't have them, just check in with a knowledgeable employee and they can let you know when their next shipment is coming in or if it can be special-ordered. Their cat selection looks equally impressive. They have cat grass at the front of the store, wand toys, many litter varieties... it's awesome! The only thing I've gone there for and haven't been able to find in stock is the white Care Fresh small animal litter but that isn't a game-changer (I can get that almost anywhere else). I really like the small animal hides and natural chews that they keep in stock. There was a day when someone came in with an unleashed dog and instead of throwing a fit, the staff kindly offered a leash to the dog's owner. The staff usually takes a minute to come over and greet my dog with tasty snacks and Daeli (my beagle) loves it. Also the staff can set you up with a frequent buyer program, which vary by company. I asked an employee if they had Monday off and she told me you are open on labor day. I understand that small businesses have less wiggle room than bigger stores but if you can't close for a day that is meant to celebrate their hard work then its looks like you dont care about your workers. Some i know, and others i have been appreciative to learn about. I also love that they offer local vendors too! The selection is great and it's always fun to see the newest products! The staff here is absolutely AMAZING!! They are always SO friendly and welcoming! They always remember us, and even remember our fur babies names. In addition, they are so helpful! They take the time to fully answer your questions and offer you solutions that are actually effective. We have received so many helpful tips, recommendations and solutions from this very educated group of people. Everyone is very friendly, but i will say that an employee named Galen (i hope i spelled that right) has been especially helpful! He is always so sweet and he is very knowledgeable when we ask for recommendations. I really appreciate all of the wonderful service i receive here, not only from Galen, but from all of the wonderful employees! Lastly, the store itself is wonderfully laid out, and is always so clean! I feel safe bringing my fur babies into this store. The selection of products is vast and very helpful. Prices are fair too! One other thing I really appreciate is that they sell small animals such as hamsters, reptiles, fish and insects (and spiders.. yikes!) but, I feel like they really offer wonderful habitats for these animals. I hate seeing animals housed in small, crowded, cramped cages with no shelter so people just stare at them and stress them out. At Pets On Broadway, they provide these animals with comfortable, large spaces with lots of ability to hide and be comfy. The store itself is very spacious, nice tall ceilings, wide aisles and its stocked with a variety of products for all of your pet needs.
