They have improved their selection of cat food and snacks (which was the biggest problem I had with them before), and now they offer considerably more friendly and helpful service than the competitors (Petsmart, Petco, and even Healthy pet). To be clear: their service always was good!, But their competitors have gotten a lot worse imo). One example of how their service is better: During the pandemic I was having trouble getting some of my cats their preferred food. I went to Mud Bay and found about half of the things I was looking for. The friendly cashier asked me if I found what I was looking for so I explained what food I was unable to find. He did some checking in their computer, and found that some of it was available in other stores in the area, and some could be ordered and picked up at their store (convenient!). That blew me away, and that's great customer service. There are still some sizable downsides to Mud Bay though. Their selection of anything other than canned and dry food, for cats, is, in my opinion, is the worst amongst their local competition. And shopping there is a pain due to the horrible parking situation there in that mall and some fairly short hours. Still, I hold Mud Bay in high esteem and all things being equal do much of my shopping there now.

During a recent pedicure at Angel Nails, I noticed the Zoom Room so I told my husband about it and he signed us up for a free intro class. Upon arrival we were greeted by the sweetest person and the front desk. She got us checked in and took our pup's first day photo - adorable. After getting checked in we waited and browsed their merchandise which included a lot of training treat options that we hadn't seen before. When it was time for class to begin, we got settled at our station. The trainer was kind and funny and taught us a few new things. Our puppy was very excited and interested in the other dogs but we eventually got her to pay attention to us about halfway through the class. Overall we had a good experience, but did find class to be a bit distracting with the various puppies and parents in attendance. We may consider returning for private training sessions in the future.

He has learned so much these past few months and is currently in advanced obedience, agility fundamentals, and tricks 1. We always look forward to our Zoom Room days and he met his best dog friend here as well! Such a great community of trainers and people and of course doggos. The puppy parties have been really fun as well and a nice way to connect with other zoom room members and fur babies.

I'd never heard about Janis & Jack's Pet Supplies before, so I was really appreciative of the recommendation. This place is incredible! Janis & Jack's has something for everyone, from food and supplements, to harnesses, leashes and more. The store provides just about every kind of food one can imagine, including my favorite Primal raw food products. (Just a note: I've been feeding my dogs a raw food Primal diet for nearly 15 years and we've been blessed with happy, healthy dogs without any major health issues. I believe their health and longevity is, in large, due to this diet) The owner of the store was working during my visit, and went out of their way to help me find a harness that worked for my pup. I really appreciated the kindness and support I felt, and I wholeheartedly recommend this store to anyone who needs pet products and supplies. They offer gift certificates as well, in case you're looking for gift ideas for your pet-loving friends.
