We've been going here for years. The food here is just so good and nice and fresh. I typically get breakfast but the other day I decided I wanted something different so I ordered Philly cheesesteak sandwich and it was delicious. I went back the following day just to get another sandwich. The stuff are so accommodating. So very friendly. We've been going there so long. They know us by our name. They could probably tell us our order also. My husband likes to get breakfast there. Typically he gets the eggs benedict which he loves or he gets the eggs Florentine. Everything comes out so nice and fresh. But you definitely have to try their fresh squeezed orange juice. It's to die for!! So if you're in town in Novato make sure you stop by. My wife and I stopped by Bacon in Novato for breakfast while visiting our son and family for the weekend. Since he wasn't home yet, we decided to enjoy the beautiful weather, sit outside, and grab a great meal. The service was amazing, and the food did not disappoint. Omg! We already returned..I had a Turkey sando with thee best fries ever! Really. My Turkey Sando was delicious, lots of spring mix lettuce, so good.. My fiance had the Tien Frittata..it's so good, I cant wait to come back so I can order it.. I should not be leaving out how good their country potatoes are btw.. Their burgers and monte cristo were pretty good. The ladies working there are very sweet and pleasant. But the man (owner, I believe) was extremely curt to us and rude to a customer next to us, asking if she was "woke" and then saying he hated woke people, in anger. Then threw up his arms and walked away before he said more. Then he barked something to the very sweet lady who worked there as well. The customer looked at her table mate and then me in bewilderment and shook her head. Not ok to speak to customers that way or the people you work with. Small crab but crunchy outside but still soft and mildly seasoned. Not a bacon person but honey/apple bacon was the best. Thick juicy sweet and a little touch of saltiness. Visit the "Bacon" today with a friend . This is my second visit within a year. I do not live here locally but my good friend insists that we come here. They were very busy today. So although my friend was a bit irritated because of the wait time. (they were very busy) With the changes that we are experiencing in this country we may experience more situations like this. We were heading to Petaluma and decided to have lunch at this place. It's a small cozy place but a friendly staff and the first thing I noticed here is the sign, no cell phone use. We ordered a salad, BLT sandwich, matcha green tea latte cold beverage. The service was great and quick. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was homely. You can see more senior citizens spending time indoors and youngsters sitting outdoors. They have a clean unisex restroom with a clear message about which lock to use and to be kind with flushing with their old plumbing mechanism. My family comes here all of the time and they always rave about it. The indoor space is a good size and they were able to seat us quickly after a short wait - surprising on a Sunday afternoon! If you want brisk service with some good food and basically get your check and be prepared to exit within 45 minutes then this is the place to come- this is not a knock. I don't mind that at all. There's no lingering here which is fine. Sometimes that's what is required. read more

I've eaten here twice. Once for breakfast and once for lunch. Service was great both times, the food, not so much. My seafood frittata had crab shells throughout. My medium bacon cheese burger had zero pink in it. The most well done burger I've seen in quite a while. I wouldn't mind the high prices of the food was on point. Won't be back. read more

We kept eating and drinking to the point that our server, Claudia, had to ask us to free our table for those who were waiting to be seated. Not a problem. Menu is excellent and two of us had the corned beef with eggs ($18 each). Wives had bacon with pancakes ($15) and a BLT ($15). Coffee ($3.50) and juice ($4) flowed. Bacon has been on my list to try for awhile. If I could give half stars it would be a 4.5. We finally got there today for a Saturday brunch. Place was hopping tho we were able to be seated outside right away. In warm weather the outdoor seats would be much in demand I am sure. Service was attentive and pleasant. We did wait awhile for our food but ultimately so worth it. And it was piping hot - even on an overcast slightly chilly day. The Bee Frittata was one of the best I have ever had - perfect portion size and the ingredients were so good - great hash browns too, French Toast was very good as well with fresh fruit. Bacon comes crispy and the pancakes were solid tho the French toast was my fave after the frittata. Latte and cappuccino were good as well. Overall it's a 4.5 for me - 5 if the food had come out quicker. We will try a weekday for sure when it is less busy. read more

My family and I enjoyed a delightful breakfast on the patio. The good was delicious, perfectly prepared and the service was impeccable! We went on a Tuesday morning thinking they wouldn't be very busy, but we seem to have brought the risk with us. They were busy and still extremely efficient. They allow all dogs and dog breeds on the patio. I always keep my dog close and confined because although he has a job to do, I know that many people are allergic or have a fear of dogs. I just want to start with how kid friendly and lovely everyone was! We came here with our two toddlers and were seated immediately. Hidden Novato breakfast GEM. Ok, not really hidden as it's on the main drag, a gem nonetheless. This family owned restaurant uses locally sourced ingredients for their menu and had indoor (dogs welcome!) and outdoor seating. The owner and his family are so kind and so masterful at their art. Had another fabulous breakfast over the weekend with hubby here. The staff are just so friendly. They get busy, but be patient. When I walked by the kitchen after we were done since we were headed to the back parking lot I think there is only one guy making all the food! So yes, patience is the key if they are busy. Don't come here unless you have at least an hour to wait for your food. The food is good but the wait for your food is ridiculous! We ended up leaving after waiting 50 minutes for our food and they said our food wasn't even close to being ready. It completely ruined our morning. My daughter was so upset.
