The food is always fresh, the portions are generous without being over the top, and everything I've ordered has been consistently good. The service has always been friendly and attentive, even when they're busy. The atmosphere is bright, relaxed, and perfect for meeting friends or grabbing a weekend brunch. If you're debating where to go for breakfast, skip the chain restaurants and give The Brunch District a try. It's one of those places that actually lives up to the reviews.

The eggs were perfectly cooked with a deliciously runny yoke. A generous portion of smoked salmon graced both toasted English muffins. My friend had the shrimp and grits, which she ordered additional shrimp. They followed through with a healthy portion of shrimp that were cooked well and seasoned wonderfully. My nephew had breakfast that included cloud like scrambled eggs, crispy bacon and thick fluffy pancakes. He didn't give me an opinion on the breakfast but did indeed join the clean plate club. The service was very good. The restaurant itself was clean and well styled as always. **Note the picture associated with this review is from a previous review.

My husband and I decided to split the Biscuit & Gravy Omelet, and it was the perfect choice. The omelet was stuffed with a biscuit and smothered in rich, flavorful sausage gravy--comfort food at its finest! The portion was huge and worked perfectly for sharing. We added a side of pancakes and hash browns, which completed the meal perfectly. The freshly squeezed orange juice was absolutely delicious and tasted incredibly fresh. A special shout-out to our server, Vanessa, who was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant also appeared to be very well staffed, which made for excellent service and a smooth dining experience, even on a busy Father's Day. Great food, generous portions, fresh ingredients, and wonderful service. We left happy, full, and already talking about coming back. Highly recommend!

The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had a nice atmosphere. Our server was very friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. I ordered a breakfast skillet, and it was good. The only thing I would say is that the hash browns and meat were cooked a little harder than I personally prefer. Other than that, everything was great. One thing I really appreciated was how quickly the food came out and nobody likes waiting forever when they're hungry! My friend ordered pancakes along with another breakfast item, and she enjoyed her meal as well. Overall, it was a nice brunch spot with great service, good food, and a comfortable atmosphere. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth checking out.

I initially gave this place 5 stars, but after returning recently for the first time in a long while, the experience was extremely disappointing. We came in, got seated, and a guy named Omar handed us the menus. I asked if we could get two hot waters with lemon, and in a very dismissive tone he replied, "Anna will get that," then just walked away. We then saw Anna walk past our empty table three or four times before finally coming over with two glasses of cold water, which we never asked for. I told her we would've requested hot water with lemon, but she barely even acknowledged us. She took the cold water away, turned around, and later came back simply setting the hot water down without a word. When we were looking at the menu, my husband asked what the side options were. She replied in an annoyed tone, "It's right there," while pointing at the menu. My husband then asked if she could just tell us, which she eventually did. From start to finish, there was no smile, no pleasantries, no sense that she even wanted to serve us. Mind you, this was 9 AM on a Monday, and there were only three occupied tables in the restaurant, including ours. When the food arrived, one of the plates had dirt, a dead bug, or something similar on it. We pointed it out, and instead of apologizing, she took the plate away, came back, denied it was a bug, and still seemed visibly irritated. Later, I asked for extra napkins. She returned and aggressively dropped them on the edge of the table without even looking at us before walking away. Throughout the entire meal, she passed by our table several more times and never once checked on us. We left feeling dismayed, disappointed, and honestly feeling like the service did not deserve a tip--so we didn't. This used to be one of our go-to spots after church on Sundays, but unfortunately, that will no longer be the case. Suffice it to say, we will not be returning.

I just did not get the vibe that it was going to be great. We had spent all morning looking for a brunch place that wasn't a two hour wait and this place although it had a wait was not two hours we may be waited for about 20 minutes. The service was extremely kind and hopeful, but I will say that they cook your food to order so you will have to wait and I think it's worth it. The bacon was superb. I actually ordered some to-go because it was delicious! I had the apple pecan French toast and my God!!!! It blew me out the water!!! My husband had pancakes and bacon, and I actually stole his bacon because it was so good. They serve my favorite coffee, which is Segafredo and it was just a pleasant surprise to eat here! We will absolutely be back!

It didn't wow me but it wasn't bad, it tasted like a basic latte with no prominent flavor. The girl at the register wasn't rude or excited, just seemed so so. There's lots of big open space, tables seem a bit low & I'm short. Lol. Minor details but still made note if it. This is what got me, on the way home I started having a scratchy throat & was breaking out. I can only assume that either a) it wasn't caramel flavoring added but coconut, lavender, or hazelnut... I can't remember if they had those flavors, but I am allergic to all three. Or b) Hubster suggested that maybe they didn't clean their machine or utensils well & he said cross contamination happened. I didn't get bit by anything, I didn't ingest anything else, & I wasn't around any other factors that would cause such a reaction. I ended up taking an allergy pill on the way home & got it under control, but still.

Young, high-energy staff and everybody was friendly. I had an adorable little waitress who was possibly high as a kite. But flower high, not the bad stuff. Honestly, it worked in everybody's favor. She was upbeat, extremely polite, and got my order right. I'm happy. The menu is one of those long double-sided laminated things with probably 50+ breakfast choices. Everybody should be able to find something. Prices looked to range around $10-17 per entrée, and the portions were solid. They also had a bunch of turkey and chicken sausage options for non-pork eaters like myself. I ordered the chicken fried steak with hash browns, scrambled cheese eggs with onions mixed into the eggs and hash browns, plus two pancakes. Around $15. Pardon the food pics. I forgot to take them until I had already loaded everything up with every sauce known to man: ketchup, hot sauce, gravy, syrup... probably a few others. I definitely recommend this place. A gem.

When I asked why, I was told for remodeling and because they are short staffed. Neither made sense. I believe I saw 3 or 4 employees and while there could have been remodeling behind the scenes, we watched them close up and saw the employees all leave. We had to go find another coffee shop, but it made me wonder, if I was the owner of this coffee shop I would want to verify they were not closing early just to go play. ***revized review*** Business reached out to explain they are making improvements and scheduling those is tricky. It would be great to update on Yelp, which is how we decided on this coffee shop (based on closing time). Coffee and offerings we had were very good.
