I did not bother looking and talking to other companies, when the price was within my budget and was told it will be done in 4 days, i was sold. During the installation, they discovered that our previous flooring had actually been installed over the existing tile, which we weren't aware of. They took the time to explain the situation, went over our options, and were completely transparent about what would be involved if we wanted to remove the tile and level the floors. I really appreciated that they didn't pressure us and allowed us to make the decision that was best for our home. The installation team worked efficiently and did a beautiful job. They were friendly, respectful of our home, and clearly took pride in their work. Even though flooring installation can be a stressful process, they made it easy and smooth from beginning to end. We documented everything with photos and sent it to Anthony early on. What followed was a long, frustrating cycle of chasing him down for any kind of response: - Getting him to simply schedule an inspection took weeks and multiple follow-ups. - He then disappeared for a stretch, with no updates for months. - We had a baby on the way and asked repeatedly to get this resolved beforehand. It wasn't. - Eventually an inspector came out and looked at the floor. - After that, Anthony told us the manufacturer was blaming "moisture in the entire unit" for the failures -- which never made sense given the specific, localized issues we'd flagged from the start. He said he was fighting to get us new material and a full first-floor replacement. - Then, silence again. Follow-up emails went unanswered. - After a long period with no response at all, we reached out one more time. Early on, his own words to us were "don't worry, I'm not going to disappear." He did. It's now 2026 -- four years after the original install -- and we still have a defective floor and no resolution. No material, no callback, nothing. If you're considering Budget Flooring, the sales and install is the easy part; getting them to actually stand behind a warranty claim is another story.
