I found these guys on Yelp and based on the great reviews, I had Fred come out (wearing a mask due to COVID) to provide a quote. I was immediately struck by his attention to detail regarding not just the flooring but also the type of baseboard options. Once we agreed on everything, he promptly provided a quote, and after my providing a deposit, ordered the materials and scheduled installation a week later. His installer, Jorge, worked quickly and efficiently, and after two days, my two rooms were completed and look fantastic! One of the things that factored into my 5 star review was the great customer service in resolving one small issue: my closet door needed an adjustment which kept it from fully opening due to the removal of prior carpet. I hadn't noticed this until a few days after installation and after completing full payment. But when I called Fred, he immediately sent Jorge back to remedy the problem. So often, businesses aren't concerned about work that has been fully paid for and signed off on, but this was not the case here. They truly stand by their work! read more

I am looking for a particular type of linoleum and Fred who was extremely honest, said he didn't have any but referred me to a store who might have it and they did. I recently moved in with my boyfriend and we decided to take out the horrible brown carpets in his apartment and replace them with laminate flooring. We live in a three bedroom and we decided to have the master wing side done, as well as the living room and kitchen. Fred had a HUGE selection of laminates and we immediately honed in on one that was exactly the color we wanted, and it fit our limited budget. The best part was the installation- after coming to our place and taking the measurements, we were quoted that it would probably take 3 days to complete. Fred and his team were very accommodating and we were able to schedule our installation while we would be at work (which was crucial as we work long hours and didn't think we would have the time to get this done). At the end of the first day, all of the floors were DONE!!! My jaw is still on the floor. The team took a few hours the following day to put in the trim and cleanup. So easy. So amazing. And the laminate? You would never guess that it is not real wood. It looks and feels incredible and has a texture to it, giving it authenticity. This whole process has been amazing and I've already recommended this place to all of my friends and coworkers. And I can't wait to have everyone over so we can show off our incredible new floors. I recently had my condo's carpet replaced with WPC. Working with Fred in general is good, and I am happy with the floor overall. However, since I am new to home renovation, there was some issues that I hope people can learn from my experience. I knew nothing, and was not told, about the heavy dust of the installation, and didn't cover all my furnitures--so my furniture/couch/bedding suffered. There is some miscommunication (or a lack of communication) between Fred, the contractors, and me. Although Fred and I talked about the leveling the floor, the contractors didn't level the floor --and my floor becomes very bumpy at places. I asked Fred to re-do certain spots in the hallway, living room, and dining area. This time we didn't talk about leveling, (and the cost) but the contractors leveled the dining area, and dining area only --actually the contractor was not aware that there are spots in the living room or the hallway that need re-work, till I told him. The lack of communication between the Contractor, Fred and me, can be avoided. Had the contractor done the leveling during the first installation, the second installation would not be necessary, and no additional cost would incur in the second installation to surprise me, since I thought the second installation only fixed the not-well-done first installation, not to generate more costs (i.e. I'd rather to have the option to pay to level ALL areas in the condo that needs to be leveled BEFORE the first installation, if that makes sense). To conclude, I do recommend Fred and his company, but I hope people can learn from my lesson. read more
