Tri Tech Restoration rebuilt our entire house from smoke damage that was caused by the attached garage fire. As a start, Shelly, the first responder, showed up during the time fire department was rescuing the house, stayed the entire time until we were let in the house, then boarded the house up for security on a SUNDAY. Carlos, the project manager, with his team did a good job on the entire rebuilding process. Carlos stayed on top of everything and suggested a lot of modifications that made house look better. Michael, the owner of the company, was involved during the rebuilding process and helped us get the funds we need for rebuild from the insurance company. The entire rebuilding process was lengthy, stressful, and was not an easy task. In the end, we have a great house to show off. All thanks to Tri Tech Restoration. I have nothing but great things to say about Tri Tech Restoration. They also warranty their work for 1 year. We had to factory defective cabinet doors in the kitchen. Carlos got them replaced for us as well. You will see the good job they did in the pictures I'm attaching. The work itself speaks for them. :)

When it comes to fire clean up and restoration, I refer to Tri- Tech restoration. Their technicians are knowledgeable and effective in cleaning buildings from smoke. I highly recommend them. Avner Gat

UNPROFESSIONAL, NO COMMUNICATION, LIES, ABANDONMENT. Those are just a few words to describe this company and their "work". This was an insurance job, so already it wasn't important for them and of course saw it as a way to get more money from us. They did asbestos removal in Mid March...it's the end of July and it looks the same as when they "started."   The office staff and field staff are extremely unprofessional. When we "began" the work, all off a sudden it was vacation time for what felt like their entire staff..our just our crew. We had a PM who was out of town for two weeks so for two weeks no calls, no work being done, nothing. Once he returned, it was then someone else who was out of town so again, no work could begin. Once they actually did send people to start working, it was a snail crew of not more than 2 people, maybe 3 on a "good day". They would come for a few hours a week, do a little bit of work here and there, and then leave. They left our entire backyard a mess,  full of dust and not to mention our original cabinets were still outside when they said they would have a dumpster out immediately. Yet they also told us they had to stay on site because the cabinet guy needed the door measurements. Once they told us that, all of a sudden they had to move them BACK INSIDE. The whole thing made no sense and it was just lies to pass more time. We waited weeks for our cabinets to be installed. We understand wood is on low stock so we understood the wait. We figured between the time they told confirmed a date and the time they would install the cabinets, more work would be completed such as finished paint, floor installation, etc. yet NOTHING was completed. Less than a week before they said they were going to install, they had to come out for final measurements.. This is when they decided to tell us our floor was out of level. They took way too long to provide us with a # to level the floor and when they did, it was an outrageous number that they wanted us to pay for when we knew insurance was going to cover it. This was all a couple days before they are supposed to install the cabinets. Between no work being done on our house for months and being lied to, this is total abandonment. I am sorry to anyone that has to encounter this company and their staff. Completely unprofessional.

Exceptional Emergency Response and Restoration Services by Tri Tech Restoration I recently had some major flooding at my home. Found Tri Tech Restoration in on my online search and I am extremely impressed with their exceptional service. From start to finish, their team displayed professionalism, expertise, and a commitment to restoring my property to its "pre-loss condition". Like it never even happened The Tri Tech Restoration team was quick to respond to my water damage emergency, arriving promptly like less tan 2 hours! and assessing the situation with precision. They handled the entire restoration process efficiently, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. Their knowledge and experience in dealing with water damage were evident throughout the entire project. These guys are Pros! The pros at Tri Tech showed great attention to every detail, ensuring that nothing was overlooked. They meticulously dried out the affected areas, cleaned and sanitized thoroughly, and even helped salvage some of my belongings that I thought were beyond repair. Their expertise in mold prevention was also commendable, providing me with peace of mind. Through the entire process their team was always available to address my concerns and questions. They communicated effectively, keeping me informed about the progress of the restoration and the estimated timeline for completion and even computed the work ahead of schedule. I must also mention their professionalism and respect for my property. They worked diligently and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to my daily routine cause I work from home and the kids are on summer break at home. The Tri Tech team was courteous, polite, respectful and compassionate throughout the entire process. Oh, BTW they knew exactly how to work with my Insurance company and they are actually preferred vendors so the process was much simpler. Overall, my experience with Tri Tech Restoration was outstanding. They exceeded my expectations in every aspect of their service. I highly recommend Tri Tech Restoration to anyone in need of emergency services. Their expertise, professionalism, and commitment to customer satisfaction is a blessing especially when you're dealing with such an unpleasant situation and trying to get back to normalcy. Thank you, Tri Tech for making such a unpleasant situation bearable.

The owner, Ami, presented himself as highly experienced with wildfire remediation and repeatedly warned me that other companies--and even my insurance--would not protect my family. I have two very young children, and I relied on what he told me. Only later did I realize that most online reviews were from people who had phone consultations, not verified wildfire remediation customers. During the project, Ami also told me he was receiving many referrals from my then-State Farm adjuster after I introduced them. Without my knowledge, he brought a public adjuster to my home and was seen on my doorbell camera discussing all the work he received since that introduction. I never consented to my home being used in this way. Haztek initially sent my insurance an estimate over $160,000. After they learned my policy limit was $100,000, the estimate dropped to $84,000, and I was asked for a 50% deposit. I later learned this deposit structure is not allowed for this type of work in California. After work began, contamination increased dramatically. - Initial asbestos levels around 1,000 structures/cm² rose to over 100,000 structures/cm² in the same areas. - Lead levels that were originally within safe EPA limits (one area at 3 µg/ft²) increased to as high as 69 µg/ft² after a chimney sweep. Visible ash remained around the fireplace, in a room labeled as a clean area for furniture. When I asked about the visible ash and the results, I did not receive clear explanations. We failed two clearance tests over two months, each showing higher contamination. While this was happening, extensive demolition occurred, without permits or testing for lead/asbestos despite our home being built in 1974. This included drywall, hardwood floors, cabinetry, tile, and bathroom fixtures. I only discovered it when my doorbell camera showed my toilet sitting on my doorstep causing me to drive home and find total destruction. When I asked why I hadn't been notified, the explanation I received didn't match the dates shown on camera. I was told demolition was due to mold. Two licensed mold companies later performed moisture testing and confirmed there was no moisture problem. The demolition caused major damage to my home. I also have footage of appliances being moved in ways that damaged surrounding floors * Dust/Ash remained on multiple surfaces after work was marked complete. * When I asked what justified their costs being so much higher than companies like Servpro, no specific differences were provided. * PPE usage was inconsistent. When I was present, it was used; camera footage on other days I wasn't showed workers didn't. * Several items labeled "keep" went missing, including irreplaceable baby keepsakes. Smart devices they claimed were non-cleanable later appeared active and used at a different location, with streaming accounts still logged into and used. * Reported work hours didn't match what was captured on camera. Haztek demolished our HVAC closet, which contained popcorn material. No containment was used. I have photos of this material falling into the HVAC system and return ducts. Afterward, asbestos levels in nearby areas tested extremely high. This demolition was not part of the original wildfire or asbestos dust scope. By the time I understood what was happening, our insurance benefits were nearly exhausted, and our home was left with higher contamination and heavy damage. We ultimately discarded nearly all belongings. The impact on our family has been significant. Haztek advertises expertise in asbestos, lead, fire, and mold remediation. When I checked the CSLB website, the listed license showed a general contractor license. I was not able to locate: * A C-22 asbestos abatement license * CDPH lead abatement certification * IICRC fire or mold remediation certification If you are dealing with wildfire or hazardous cleanup, I strongly recommend verifying all licenses with the appropriate agencies, using independent third-party testing, avoiding large upfront deposits, and confirming all scope details in writing. I hope sharing my experience helps someone else avoid what we went through.
