We made a reservation for a lane a few days ago and then went last night for the first time. We had a blast! Our instructor, Ora, was awesome! He was knowledgeable and super fun! He gave us tips and new ways to throw throughout our time slot. He was the perfect amount of helpful and not invasive of our group. I knew I would enjoy our time but I didn't realize how much fun it would be! The hour and a half flew by! You can either reserve online for a lane(minimum 4 people, I believe) or you can chance it and walk in. The walk in price is cheaper than reserving. You can bring in your own food(or have it delivered) and non-alcoholic drinks. They have a fridge with waters and soda for purchase. We will definitely be back! read more

Made a reservation with deposit to celebrate my partner's birthday with our kids on Sunday. Showed up to find the back door and front door locked, no lights on and people inside doing whatever they were doing. Waited a while...no one came to the door. It's very disappointing when you get super excited to try out something new but then arrive to see that no one was available. I called customer service and just let them know I wasn't impressed. The staff are super friendly, Big Mike is fun and helpful. Tara is very sweet. They both were approachable and easy to talk to. I didn't quite know what to expect but it turned out great; they gave us tips on how to throw better and showed us some fun trick throws (e.g. underhand, double axe throw). This place is fun! We spent an hour here and it's $20 per person. We had a big group and they put us in two lanes. There was a waiver and a lesson before hand. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes easier to throw it. I preferred the yellow axe to the silver one. It was all preference. I equate it to bottle flipping. It has to be on the right rotation. Such a fun and affordable place to take friends or a date. I'm from Washington going to visit a friend who lives in Fresno, so we were trying to find things to do around town. Service was great and no reservations needed. They have 3 stalls open for throwing, but when we went on a Saturday night, there was no line so we got in right away. Throwing was a lot easier than I thought and the guy will come around to show you tricks and help give tricks on how to throw better. If you throw enough that your board cracks, let them know and they'll replace a new board and spray it down to make your axe stick better. I had a lot of fun and it was a great stress reliever! We came here with the kids on New Year's Eve and as scary as it looked in the beginning everyone ended having by a blast. The guy working was super friendly and took the time to teach us. He provided pointers, had a good playlist, suggested different games to play, and was very encouraging to the youngest member in our party. Way overdue but I finally got a chance to do the review! I've always wanted to try axe throwing and a friend of mine had recommended this gem to me. It's a nice little spot with 3 lanes and plenty of different axes to use. When I got there I was greeted by Alyssa who was a total BADAXE haha. She was great from the moment I got there to the moment I left. She taught me the basics (easy but fairly challenging), cool trick shots (satisfying to land), and she showed me a few games that are really fun! I definitely recommend this place if you have a birthday party or if you just wanna do something fun the night but I highly recommend Alyssa since she was super friendly, very supportive, and an all around great throwing coach. Side notes. Dont go looking for beer there, you won't find any. And tip your throwing coach, they definitely deserve it. read more

I've been dying to try this out ever since I saw it on Instagram. I was so excited when I found out a location was opening here in Fresno. Definitely a different type of activity. I was intrigued & excited to try it, but also unsure of how much fun you could really have doing this. My husband & I had a blast!! We went Memorial Day when it opened at 6 pm. There were only 2 other people throwing during the hour we were there. It was about $40 for both of us to throw for the hour. It seemed easier for my husband to get his throws to stick. It did take some trying for me to start getting it, but eventually I got the hang of it & even hit a few bullseyes. It's actually quite the work out too, I broke a sweat & am a little sore today. But, so worth it! We will definitely be back! They have a league to join too. They also sell merch including axes. read more

Booked knife throwing through Airbnb and our coach, Big Mike allowed us to test out the Axe throwing to get a feel of how different Axes and Knife are for throwing and we really appreciate it! Me and my friends were all first timers and Mike did his best to help us out. Because he wasn't watching us the whole time and going around helping others, we felt relaxed and comfortable to throw and just have fun. Of course he can be there to critique and watch but if it's a long period it can be nerve wrecking so Mike made us feel comfortable and was very kind to throughout it all. We definitely plan on coming back to get better! The place was small and the location was a bit tight but it's like a hidden gem of Fresno!
