For a burger place, this place isn't too bad. If you're looking for a burger, and want some sort of consistency this place would be to go. I do have to warn though, that the prices are a bit higher than normal here. Then again, I haven't been living in ATL for that long so this could probably be on par. Bad Daddy's is a chain, and if you've never heard of this chain before, don't be surprised... not a lot of people know. I've had Bad Daddy's first I believe years ago in Charlotte. Another one opened up in Knoxville, but I never got the chance to go to that one. So when my coworkers said that they wanted to check this place out, I decided this was a nice time to revisit Bad Daddy's and what makes them so great and made me a fan of them. And to be honest, the tater tots were awesome and makes them a contender in the sides menu. I mean, there's not a lot of places you can't get good tater tots, especially at a chain. The burger was also good, and what made it a winner for me too was that they offered it lettuce wrapped. Any burger place that offers that I become an automatic fan. It's really not that hard to just have a burger but just more lettuce than the bread, but you would be surprised how rare it is to find. I do have to say the tots did get me sleepy after eating it that I had to stand up at work. The service wasn't bad, we just did a take out and ran back to the office. If you don't want to deal with the line or lunch rush, I would recommend to call in and order ahead of time and just go there and pick up. We saw a couple of people do that and just was in and out. If you like burgers, want to keep it safe, this should be a place to check out. It's nothing crazy, but at the same time you can go crazy if you want by building your own burger. Went here with a group of 12 people after Church one Sunday .! I want to start off by saying that the service we received was great.! Our server, Neenah, I believe , was very attentive & helpful.! Everyone at the table enjoyed their food, not one complaint. Food was tasty.! Ordered a burger & tots, of course .! Was pretty darn good.! It isn't fun to write a review about problems since restaurants are facing so many challenges. Unfortunately this was the second time we had similar problems. We like Big Daddy's burgers and salads. Today we went for lunch before having to get back to work. Waiting 25 minutes for our food doesn't cut it at noontime. By the time the food was delivered we asked for it to be packed for takeout since we couldn't stay to eat it in the restaurant. It was money not well spent. Meanwhile there was a lot of activity in the kitchen. But that didn't translate to food coming out to the tables. Not certain where the problems are however we are the customers, not the managers. Sadly don't know if we can take the risk of coming back during a weekday lunch time. Someone needs to take charge. And telling me in a response that "we appreciate your comments and sorry for your experience" would be time better spent fixing the problems. This is not the first review to note the issues. Stopped by for dinner at Bad Daddy's, and I enjoyed the meal. They have tons of signature burgers that can be made with turkey, chicken, or veggie patties. They also have plenty of standard pub apps. I chose their make your own salad option. Each salad can be made large or small with up to about 10 toppings before you pay extra. I ordered the small salad with a turkey burger(delicious), avocado, cakes, red onions, and and balsamic dressing. It was delicious. I also ordered the Betty cocktail with vodka. My twin and I were leaving a late night meeting, and were unfamiliar with the options in the area. We happened to drive past and saw this sign, and stopped and read the menu outside. The menu posted on the window definitely intrigued us, so we decided to come in and dine. It was very sparse with customers on a Thursday night at 8:00, though the bar area looked about half full. We waited a while for the host to come seat us, and figured that maybe it was seat-yourself, but a server finally came and got us. We got a super sticky booth near the kitchen. Our server was training someone, and throughout the meal they were both very attentive. As a matter of fact, the trainee was like on high alert or something - every time we took a sip of water, he was front and center refilling our cups. I mentioned the menu posted outside for a reason. That menu and the one inside were not the same. We both agreed that if we had seen the *actual* menu that the kitchen was serving, we probably wouldn't have even come inside. I got a salmon burger, and fortunately I cut the burger down the middle before eating because it was completely pink in the middle. Not the light pink that indicates a piece of salmon is medium (i.e., perfect), but on the verge of being reddish pink. I touched my finger to the middle and it was cool (i.e., still rare). Fortunately, our server(s) were very kind about having another one made up and the second one was a perfect medium. The different array of dipping sauces were very nice, and the fries were decent. The milkshake options looked tempting but ultimately we declined to give them a shot. All in all, I think it's average at best. read more

So today after my VA Medical appointment, my wife and I were very hungry and wanted to try something new in Decatur. We ended up at Bad Daddy's: I tried the Bad Ass Burger, with Tots. This was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. 10 juicy oz of prime beef, cooked to perfection. It did take a little to get but the waitress warned before so I was expecting it. To wash it down I had the Bad Ass Rocks Margarita (limit 2 per customer; I had only one) it was just perfect as well. My wife had the Fried Mozzarella Burger with fries. She said it was perfect as well. These meals really filled us up. Had the banana pudding to go, for later. The service was good, not crowed, or maybe because of the time we went, but we truly enjoyed the place. Now I see there are two other locations, one in Smyrna is closer to where we live so I hope they meet or exceed this spot. Excellent experience. read more

The service here was very good. I tried a custom burger with the large patty, jalapeños and cheese. The burgers are huge and flavorful. I had half a burger left to take home. I wasn't a fan of the lemonade, but I like sweet stuff so I take that into account. The chicken nachos are 5/5 and the pineapple is a nice touch. I would recommend that! I like the fact that you can build your own burger / salad. The truffle fries and onion rings were very good. (3/5) Next time I will ask for no salt given the saltiness of both. My friends and i decided to try this place out because who doesn't love a good burger. They are offering dinning room seating in a social distance friendly environment. The service was subpar we have to catch our server for any and every request because he would literally leave the table in a flash. The food was pretty decent i really enjoyed my appetizer of the fried pickles and the Housemade ranch was the perfect combo. I enjoyed the fact that you can personalize you burger to you liking and it can put testing delicious my biggest negative outside of the service was the fries the looked they can from the bottom of the bag they were greasy and just not good! But the true mark of good specialty bar/restaurant is if they can do the non-signature dishes with the same expertise. I give them credit. The service here is good. Our waitress was very nice and kind. She could have checked in more but other than that it was fine. We tried the deviled eggs. They were not good. It tasted very rubbery and I did not eat more than what I tasted. Thankfully, someone else came and checked on us and they were kind enough to remove it. I asked for my burger to be cooked medium, it came well done, so that was not enjoyable and it did not have much flavor. It did have a lot of bacon as advertised. The fries were ok, not seasoned. They were out of Parmesan so I could not try the Parmesan fries like I would have liked. Also, others mentioned the long wait in their reviews. We experienced this too. Had to check this place out because of the 4 stars and we were in the neighborhood. We visited during COVID times so the resturant MAY have been understaffed. Resturant had plenty of parking. It atmosphere is very retro and I loved the decor! The menu looks awesome. Filled with salads, burgers and chicken sandwiches. They offer many toppings so each sandwich/salad is unique. The bistro burger was absolutely amazing. My friends got the fried chicken sandwich which turned out to be overly breaded. The tater tots and truffle fries were pretty good tho.
