My neighbor has been raving about this place so I had to stop by. Their prices are really good I noticed first thing going in. I got my husband and I some breakfast and it was really good! The team there is very friendly and love the community support. I'm definitely going back soon to try their lunch! I recommend trying this spot

Nicky's Undefeated - I put my own mustard on there. It looks dry you say. It was. even with cheese. No flavor, no taste.. Bread was even terrible. Look at it.

We ordered, and got fountain drinks (I think they're included). It was ready quickly, and I think the owner brought it out. Nice and friendly guy. I got a half founder's cheesesteak and onion rings, and my son got a full sandwich and polished it off even though ours a huge sandwich. The cheesesteak is everything you'd want--good beef, white cheese, and good bread. It's the fanciest cheesesteak I've had, and it was tasty. Two thumbs up. We'll be back

Which..I anticipate, but when everything falls out and the bread doesn't keep it all in and it crumbles as you eat it. It's not good. For $31+tip on counter service...I can't recommend this place among the countless places I've ate before in Atlanta, this ranks the lowest for cheesesteaks. Which sucks because I just moved to the area and was hoping this place would be great. Instead, it's overpriced counter service Atlanta hype bullcrap. I also had hair in my sandwich, but I overlook this stuff because it happens. Not a big deal to me but I'm going to mention it. Atmosphere is plain; you have a bar top and some tables with self-serve drink machine.

It's a walk up window spot with the menu and a bell, when you're ready to order, ring the bell. The service is friendly and succinct. Non invasive and just helpful without asking when needed. The seating area is a mix between covered and uncovered, with a small speaker playing contemporary tunes at a respectable level. There are string lights above, and I can only imagine how beautiful this all looks at night. I'd read a LOT about their fish sandwich. That it is a good size helping. That it has a great light fresh vinegar sauce with thinly sliced carrots and other crunchy veg. The fish tasted fresh fried. And I have to say, this is the Best fish sandwich I have ever tasted. I only am upset I hadn't come much sooner. I will have to return, probably on a monthly basis for that fish sandwich. There are enough pictures out there of the sandwich. But I also had the Thai basil lemonade and it was a nice pairing. Not a waste of time, effort or dough. Just go.

Bathrooms are extremely clean. Staff is friendly and fast. Cons. They only have outdoor seating. Most of the seats are stools without backs. There were some flies and a wasp lurking in the patio. Fans were blowing away my napkins. When I paid in cash they rounded my bill up to the next dollar. Never had someone do that before. $34 for a cheesesteak, potatoes, and small drink seems to be overly priced at a take-out spot. It would be more understanding if you could dine-in or had waiter service. I ordered the Korean Cheesesteak with smashed fried potatoes and a Bourbon Peach Punch. The drink was tasty but really small to cost $10. It looked like a 6oz cup. I would prefer to pay $5 more for a full glass. The smashed fried potatoes were covered in a sauce and some of the best potatoes I have had anywhere. The cheesesteak was made with pork (also a new experience for me) and had plenty of cheese and onions.

Let me be the first to admit--I clearly need to explore the area more, because not only did I not…read moreknow this place existed (despite being "famous" ), but I also didn't realize I had stepped into what felt like a Little India tucked right into Decatur. Location tip: It's super easy to miss! There's no visible sign from the parking lot (at least not when we visited), and it's actually located on the second floor of the building. We took the elevator up--which, fair warning, had a rough smell--and were greeted by a life-sized cutout of a Bollywood actor (which we saw in nearly every shop around here, by the way ). Once inside, we were welcomed by a friendly woman at the register. The menu online and in-store varies slightly, but they have a huge variety. We used a Groupon for two 10" pizzas (only $15 total!)--so we didn't qualify for their in-store deal (buy 2, get a cheese pizza free), but honestly, we were still very happy. We ordered: Butter Chicken Pizza Chicken Tikka Pizza - Grilled Chicken, Peppers, Onions, Tikka Masala Sauce, Cheese Blend Both are normally $12.99 each, so we saved a bit and left completely full. The pizzas were incredible. I don't know what kind of crust they use, but I could eat it by itself--soft, perfectly cooked, and fresh (seriously, it might not even be dough, it was that unique). Cook time was about 15-20 minutes, but it didn't feel long, and they came out piping hot and fresh. Major props for using fresh-cut veggies, too--nothing frozen, nothing pickled. That alone makes a huge difference in quality and taste. I've officially found a new favorite pizza spot, and I'm excited to go back and try more. Highly recommend if you're craving Indian-style pizza or just want to switch things up.

Since it was a nice day outside, we decided to dine al fresco. Once we were seated, we encountered another wait, but this time it was because they hadn't assigned a server to our table. We had to get someone's attention because we noticed other people seated after us were being waited on. We ended up with Sienna as our server. She started us off with complimentary bread. We decided to order our cocktails, appetizers, and entrees since we had been waiting. I had the sangria, and my husband had the limoncello. We enjoyed both cocktails. For appetizers, we had calamari and cheese sticks, and the cheese sticks were definitely our favorite--they had a unique twist. For entrees, we ordered the lamb ragu and the chef's special, which was seafood ravioli. To end the night, we had the brownie sundae with salted caramel gelato. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and drinks. Although the service was a bit slow at first, Sienna was attentive. We look forward to visiting Paolino again in the future.
