This is a keeper ! One of the few dog stores that carry a variety of Martingale Collars in small to xl, it was so awesome to be able to buy fur baby's new collars. And we ordered tags through the friendliest staff who were so patient with us as we changed which tags and colors we wanted.Thank You! We promptly received the confirmation email let us know the tag order was received. Don't forget to pick up your Mushers and check out the locally made Emma Ko's paw butter , and don't forget to pick up some rawhide free chews.

We went to Bad Dog Frida today with an idea of what we wanted, but not specifics, so we planned to look around the store. Instead, they met us at the door and took our order outside. Their service was excellent - they had enough staff that each person who came to shop was helped as they arrived, spaced apart on the sidewalk, and it moved along well. Our salesperson was so helpful and brought out options for us to peruse. We weren't sure what size to pick for a sweater for our Shiba Inu Suki (atypically-shaped dog body types raise your paws!) so she brought out a medium and large. We went with large (see pics). They sell all our favorite brands and had lots of holiday-themed items available. Our salesperson also gave us generous samples to try of Green Juju products. BDF is of the only places to sell that company's products in the area and we've heard great things online. Hopefully, Suki will love the taste but if not, we didn't shell out a lot of money to try it. I really appreciated that. They also were holding a raffle and had the table set up nicely. It was clear they thought ahead of how to keep things safe, like having one jar for unused pens and another for used pens when filling out the tickets. It was free to enter! We felt safe, and appreciated by the employees for shopping locally. They mentioned they'll be changing their hours - closed Sunday to Monday I think? - to accommodate having fewer staff currently. They also now have Saturday deliveries! You can order online.

This fleece sweater is neutral and easy to wash, and layers nicely under my dog's harness and heavier winter coat.

In fact, Carmen and Sue have a large pack of rescued dogs of their own -- some of whom you might meet at the store!

More than 5 !!!! Have been getting my dogs bichon/ bichon mixes (plus fosters) for over 20 yrs. I…read morehave been extremely happy with Deb's grooming and attention to detail. She always brings attention to possible concerns for me watch ie redness around penis, ear problems etc. She listens to me about health concerns ie hearing/vision, temperament ie possible biting or skittishness, how short or long to cut. I'm currently on 4 dogs needing grooming. Deb suggested I try bringing in two at a time. She followed up a few sessions later to see how it was working & whether or not I wanted to go back to bringing all 4 at once again. A few yrs ago, I had an emergency foster needing grooming. I took to Petsmart East. Worse grooming experience! I now watch through their window and watch the groomers. Not the most patient groomers-watch how they tug the leash or push down on the dogs. I found Deb based on a co-worker's recommendation after a horrible experience with now defunct groomer at Noah's Ark. The groomer shaved so close on muzzle he had razor burns! Hopefully Deb will have recommendation when she retires (which I hope is not in the near future)!!

LONG BUT HONEST REVIEW:…read more 100/10 reptile shop. I'm from the twin cities of MN and the husbandry here is top notch and unlike I've ever seen (I've been to many reptile shops around MN and the twin cities area). The staff is knowledgeable and they genuinely care about their animals. Overhead a staff member asking if someone had a tank set up for a crested gecko that someone was interested in looking at. The staff member also allowed the interested person to handle the crested gecko, but only after requesting that they put on hand sanitizer (love love love). Additionally, the tanks for all their animals are all extremely clean and well maintained. 95% of the animals were all kept in more comfortable sized tanks than you would normally see for pet store kept animals (Usually the tanks are much smaller than what is comfortable for temporary keeping). They have SO many types of reptiles, it felt like going to a miniature expo with the variety of reptiles there. From crested geckos to black/white Tegu's as well as different breeds of chameleons, crocodile skinks, cave geckos, frogs, bugs, and more! (Surrenders as well as in house bred, etc). They have a fairly sized pet store section (SO many tanks and reptiles). The staff were all super sweet and helpful. As a reptile owner of 5, and a reptile lover, I really love to see this level of husbandry in a reptile store. I live 4 hours from there (roughly) and I will say I will definitely be coming to buy from them at some point. I seriously do not have enough good to say about the place. I would highly recommend going, whether you are just looking at animals, wanting to buy, or need supplies, they have so much. I am seriously impressed, they are such an example of what every reptile shop should be when holding these animals until their adoptions. Support your local (ethical) businesses! Thank you for taking the time to read this review :) - A reptile enthusiast

The store is extremely organized, and the reptile and amphibian enclosures are well maintained. The animals all look comfortable and well taken care of. Their arachnid offerings are also always growing - we popped in recently and were happy to see they were selling jumping spiders (audax and regius). The service is superb, with a staff member always available to answer questions or offer assistance with any animals or behind-the-counter items. They offer live crickets and dubia roaches, along with frozen rodents, and other feeder Please consider supporting locally owned businesses like Reptile Rapture over the big pet store chains! You get a level of quality, care, and service that's unmatched.
